This was college graduation weekend for our youngest daughter. My family stayed for two nights. This property is in a very nice, quiet neighborhood 10 minutes from UT and very near to everything. The property was well stocked and clean when we arrived. We had a very pleasant stay and the owners communicated promptly. The only issue I had was a musty odor in the downstairs living area. Also, the morning of our arrival we were informed the vanity lights in the downstairs bedroom’s bath didn’t work and they couldn’t get an electrician out to fix it before our arrival. I know things break and it being a Friday, handymen are hard to round up. Just made it a little inconvenient for dressing for graduation festivities. I would stay here again if need arises and would recommend it to anyone considering this property.
3.0
Nice location, the place needs some general maintenance.

We would have given a 4-5 rating but we were with 6 people and one of the two bathrooms had no electricity and the bathtub/shower didn’t drain, rendering one bathroom basically unusable. I called when we checked in to get someone to come out to repair. No one came. Called the next morning, no one came and no one contacted me. texted Vacasa the third morning, told the problem would be expedited. Again no one came and no one called. We checked out the next morning with still nothing working.
It could have been great stay, it was a great location reasonably appointed etc. But I don’t recommend this house or Vacasa. Being unresponsive when there is a problem is a non-starter for me

Pretty place but needs many small repairs.

Quiet. Clean. Restful. Cute.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The location is great in a really nice older neighborhood in West Austin with access to everything we needed/ wanted to do there.

We stayed at this home for a week. The place of everything we needed was nicely decorated. We loved sitting out on the deck of night. I would definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed the big family room it was too cold to enjoy the outside areas. We had wonderful lunch in the dining room.

We came to Austin for the Depeche Mode concert and the Texas/Kansas game. After the crowds and the noise, this house was exactly what we needed - it was quiet and relaxing. The perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city!

This property was larger than expected. It was clean and well kept. The location was a highlight with the river nearby and downtown just minutes away.

Great location. Quiet neighborhood.

Looking at the pictures the place looks great, but the rental was actually pretty old and dusty when we arrived. We were able to get in via the back door with the code (as instructed/intended), but discovered that the front door was left unlocked while doing our initial walk-through.
The entire rental had a moldy & musty smell and, to our surprise, we found dried up feces in the dining room. Also, the furniture definitely needed some TLC or updates. There were a few wooden tiles in the kitchen that were broken/loose as well.
Positives:
- spacious
- good location
- quiet/safe neighborhood
- pet friendly
- fully stocked kitchen
- reasonably priced

Overall the property was conveniently located but we had a few problems. Upstairs AC did not work the last 2 days. Saw a few bugs.and overall needs some TLC.We feel as though we should recieve some compensation for the AC issue.

The absolute best part of this vacation rental was the neighborhood. This condo is located near three restaurants on the waterfront and is a nice walk to this area.
The location of this condo in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood in western Austin, only minutes from downtown and our favorite shops in the Arboretum. We were very happy with Tarrytown. It left us with a secure feeling while visiting Austin.
The interior of this condo is spacious, clean, and relaxing, but updating is needed to the interior (just paint in the dining room and dining room chair repairs). The glass roofed area is appealing, but the trees need to be trimmed and the exterior glass roof needs to be cleaned… tho would probably eliminate the moldy smell in the sunroom. Fortunately, the french doors can be closed between the sunroom and the living room.
The facility comes with a washer and dryer, which makes vacation time easier.
The bedrooms are quite large and comfortable.
The walkout patio can be accessed from the carport area and the primary upstairs bedroom. The location above the carport makes it a quiet place to talk with friends or read.
As most reviews of this condo mentioned, the carport and kitchen entrance is off of a dead-end alley. There are two stalls that make it a bit difficult for a larger vehicle to access, but backing a small car into the space is not difficult. Plus, there is street parking and a front entrance into the condo.
This was a good choice for us.

We were in town for graduation. The location was perfect - not far from campus but not in the middle of traffic. The neighborhood is charming. I highly recommend walking around it.
The house worked for us. The accommodations were comfortable and spacious. As other reviewers have mentioned, the parking spaces are tight and the house does smell musty. We had no problem with the king bed. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans etc.
We did walk to Mozarts and later Hula Hut. They are .6 miles away.

After alerting guest services about a couple concerns, most of them were promptly taken care of. Great location

Lots of space. Full kitchen, dining room and living room. Wonderful second floor deck patio. Great location. Alley access so be sure to have key to access front door too!

The place was fantastic and was exactly as advertised. We enjoyed our stay here. The only unfortunately element was the early check-in and check-out times. It's hard to feel like you get your money's worth when you get reduced time at the place, especially at critical times in your stay. There was no way to request modified check-in/check-out times, so I must unfortunately leave a mediocre review.

We would stay here again, but probably not likely to sleep in the upstairs master bed. It is in serious need of a new mattress and just very uncomfortable and noisy. The space was a nice size, a bit awkward layout with parking in back on lower level and front door on opposite side of the house. Very nice neighborhood and we would stay here again because of that and because we were able to bring our dog.

That’s the best word to describe the home. It’s very old and not much has been updated. Nice location. They seemed to clean it very well. The two biggest downfalls of the house is one it’s set mostly in a basement kind of feel. Minimal sunlight and had a bit of a strange musky smell. Secondly, and my biggest gripe - the master bed is horrible - the mattress is either extremely old or just cheap. Needs to be updated!
Other than those few things it was a decent stay, access was easy, and the place was clean.

The house needs updating. The parking was very tight & hard to maneuver around. It was cleaned, but noticed the bedroom downstairs, behind the end table, had a dead roach, a disposable mask & just dirty with debris. The bbq area had dead leaves & debris as well. Overall, our stay was great
5.0
Not fancy/luxurious, but the location, price/value, cleanliness, and spacious rooms make this a 5-star accomodation. Very quiet inside, had to use the baby monitors to hear the babies (which is a good thing!). Had no issue with parking, but drive an SUV; could see how it would be scary in a car.

Good living area where everyone can gather. Deck is nice. beds comfortable. Kitchen/bar area work; glass wear and utensils inventory is low. More bath towels/mats needed.

The location was great, near scenic route and fun to walk around. We were relatively comfortable, but the place was in bad need of updating. Landscaping was a mess, carpets dirty, walls needing fresh paint. Bathrooms and kitchen were clean, so that was good. BBQ was out of propane but I never heard back from management after emailing them. We filled it up so we could cook the steaks we had ready. Too bad it hasn't been updated. It has good potential in a nice neighborhood.

My family and I booked this townhome because we would be in town for a wedding, and it ended up being the perfect spot for us. It was spacious enough that our other family members who came into town could stop by and say hello, and we loved spending time on the open upper deck! The route to the parking area is a little sketchy if you’re not comfortable in your vehicle, but as long as we backed in we were fine in our SUV. we would definitely stay there again!

This property was comfortable and had plenty of space for our family. Be aware that Unit B does not have an enclosed yard (the photos on line look kind of like it does). Beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything that we needed. Fabulous neighborhood for walking and close to the river.

House was ok but had lots of little issues. Keys only to back door and back door electronic lock did not function well. Kitchen did not have AC. Couch and chairs in Den need to be replaced as they have no support and sag allot. Not all Cable boxes worked properly. Upstairs shower head was terrible.

Location, location, location. Central Austin. Beautiful Neighborhood. Within Walking distance of fun restaurants and a Austin-favorite coffee shop. The house is well-kept, clean and organized house. We only had one minor complaint that was quickly addressed. It was a hot day and the air conditioner was not cooling as necessary. However, I called Vacasa and Shelly came to the rescue. Shelly was amazing. She made sure we were comfortable until the air conditioning was repaired - and it was repaired lightening quick. Just amazing. My family and I were super satisfied. We hope to rent this house on our next visit.
