About this apartment rental
Serenity by the Sea is your next great relaxing vacation with a view of the ocean and a view of the pool. You will enjoy easy access to the beach via the private ramps while also having access to the community pool. This 2nd Floor condo comes with one master bedroom (queen size bed) , a set of bunk beds and a queen size pull out couch to comfortably fit 4 Adults and 2 children(MAX)! Serenity by the Sea has a private master half bath and full bath, fully stocked kitchen (w a Keurig). There are flat screen TVs in the living room, bed room and even in the bottom bunk bed! Kid friendly but great for couples and small groups of friends. We hope you enjoy!

Guests will need to place a Parking Pass ($30 Fee each if not returned) on vehicle dash/rear view mirror during their entire stay. In addition, a Pool Key Card ($30 Fee each if not returned) is required to use the pool. Both items will be provided upon check-in.
Surf Unit Owners Association (SUOA, Inc.) Rules & Regulations
1. Parking lot speed limit is not to exceed 10 miles per hour.
2. All Vehicles must display an official Parking Permit, issued by the SUOA Inc. A maximum of two parking spaces and two parking permits per unit will be issued. Carport parking is for first floor units only, and must not block the opening of storage doors. Vehicles without parking permits, or vehicles illegally parked will be towed at owner’s expense. Guests that do not return Parking Passes or Gate Keys will be charged $30 per Pass.
3. Nothing other than passenger vehicles are allowed on SUOA Inc. property. No overnight parking of boats, trailers etc. Violators will be towed at owner’s expense.
4. All open flames and grilling are prohibited on decks. Charcoal grills are permitted at the grilling area near laundry facility only. Grilling is done at the risk of the owner, guest, renter or occupant. Fireworks are prohibited.
5. No items are to be hung above the height of or over the unit deck rail.
6. Loud partying and/or music will not be tolerated during quiet hours. (11pm-8am)
7. Keep off the sand dunes. There is a $500 fine in Surf City for walking or standing on the dunes. Surf City Ordinance 93-33.
8. No glass in the pool area. Pool rules are posted and must be followed. Pool passes are required.
9. Dumpsters are provided for household trash only. No construction debris of any kind. Do not place any refuse on the outside of the dumpster.
10. No skateboards, roller-skating, or roller blades allowed in the complex. Bicycles are prohibited in the Courtyard.
11. There are to be no items left under the carports at any time. Items left under carports (grills, chairs, bicycles, grills, etc.) are subject to confiscation and disposal.
12. Please use the walkways while traveling in the courtyard. Walking or playing on the grass is prohibited.
13. Laundry room - A key card is required to access to the laundry area.
14. Occupancy limits for units are set at six for first and second floor units and eight for third floor units. Decks are to be limited to no more than six persons at any one time for safety reasons.
15. Do not feed seagulls, or any wild animals from the decks or on the property of the Surf Condos.
16. A hose is provided and located by the office building. Washing is for passenger vehicles only. Car wash hose is for owners/renters only, not guests of guests or friends of guests. Fish cleaning is prohibited.
17. If animals are suspected, guest will be subject to additional $500 cleaning fee or loss of deposit.
18. Drugs of any kind are NOT ALLOWED WHATSOEVER. If guests are suspected of using illegal substances or transporting illegal substances, the local police will be notified, and guests will be asked to vacate the rental and property immediately. If drugs are suspected, guest will be subject to additional $250 cleaning fee or loss of deposit.
19. Smoking and vaping are limited to the balcony with the door completely closed or in designated areas on the pool deck. Please properly dispose of cigarette butts and ashes in the outside dumpster and do no bring inside the unit. If smoke is detected in the unit, the guests will be subject to an additional $250 cleaning fee or loss of deposit.

The condo was clean and had everything you needed. But some of the furniture was very dirty and uncomfortable to sit in. There were nails in the floor and railing that needed hammered before someone got hurt.was dirty and very

We stayed with our two children (ages 6 & 8) and it was the perfect fit! It was kid friendly, easily accessible to the beach and pool and exactly as I had expected. I loved having access to the beach shed, this made traveling to and from the beach and pool so much easier. We were vacationing with a few other families who didn’t have this with their condo and we quickly realized how much of a benefit it was to our stay. Another thing that I loved was that we were provided with many of the essentials when we got there - i.e. toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, soap for the sinks, this was super helpful especially the first day when we hadn’t yet gotten to the store to purchase anything. Overall, it was a wonderful stay. I do think for families it is important to note that the beach is very busy, we got down there pretty early to put up our tent and save our spot. Also the tide goes very far up the beach, be aware of this if you leave anything down there, thinking you will come back later.

This property has all you’ll ever need, even down to a little spices for your beach cuisine if you dare to cook during your relaxation zone. Very cool, comfortable and clean. Best place I’ve ever stayed at and family thinks so too! I’ll be back again next summers end. Thank you Serenity by the Sea!

The perfect place to visit catch some rest, read a book, enjoy the ocean or the pool. Wide range of people at the complex making it a great place to say hi or strike a conversation with a condo neighbot. The condo is supplied and has everything you would need. Short ride or walk to restaurants and shops. Cannot wait to return. The owner is gracious and answers your messages. This was our second visit and we plan on coming back.

Great experience! Gloria is wonderful! She was easy to communicate with and quick with response. The condo smelled clean and felt very clean when we arrived (my husband is very picky and hw was impressed!)! The host makes you feel very welcomed and goes above and beyond. The condo is very tastefully decorated and has comfortable living areas, everything was well marked and identified to make things easier. Short stroll to beach and pool.

Quiet location with beach views. Good food within walking distance and several others within a short drive. Property was clean and comfortable. Loved the Salty Turtle Brewery and enjoyed dinner and great drinks with a view at Daddy Mac's.

This was just the perfect place for our weekend getaway. It was very clean, decorated super cute. Had all the amenities we could possibly want. The pool was beautiful, although not yet open for the season.

Perfect get-away
Serenity by the Sea was the perfect little getaway for out family. Everything we needed to make our stay comfortable was there. Toys for our kids, a high chair, sand toys, beach equipment, you name it we were set. The wagon was so great to have access to in order to tote everything we needed to the beach and/ or pool. Gloria communicated with us during our stay and made sure we were all set. She quickly helped us feel relief when we were concerned because of small issue with the keyless entry, but she reassured us it would be fine for the remainder of our stay. The condo was clean, nicely decorated, and overall a fantastic place to spend the week.

Comfortable and safe stay
The property itself is very clean and inviting. The maintenance crew took care of the pool and trash cans daily. I like that it is a secured property as well, not that we have ever felt unsafe staying in Surf City.
The condo was clean and had everything we needed.
I especially loved the keyless entry to the condo as well. This made our coming and going much simpler and we didn't have to worry about where to keep a key while at the beach or out somewhere else.

Great location!!
We had a great stay at Serenity by the Sea! It suited my family’s needs perfectly. (2 adults, 3 teens). Great views of both the ocean and the pool from the covered balcony, and a central location in Surf City that’s close to great shopping and dining - Shaka Taco was our favorite spot for the week!! Gloria was very responsive, both before and during our stay. Would definitely stay here again!

This condo is a great location with good amenities. The unit was clean and comfortable. It is obvious that the owners did not stock the unit with the cheapest furniture. Instead they coordinated the decor and made this place feel like home.

WONDERFUL THANKSGIVING VACA
EVERYTHING WAS WONDERFUL. ONLY ONE ISSUE WAS THE SLIDING GLASS DOOR TO THE BALCONY. IT'S VERY HEAVY AND VERY HARD TO OPEN. ALSO THERES NO HANDLE ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE DOOR, SO TO GET BACK INTO THE CONDO SOMEONE FROM THE INSIDE HAS TO LET YOU IN. BUT OTHER THAN THAT VERY SMALL ISSUE, IT WAS A GREAT THANKSGIVING FOR OUR FAMILY ESPEACIALLY BEING WITH OUR MARINE.

First visit to Topsail and enjoyed a long weekend at Serenity by the Sea. Everything was great, just as advertised. Easy communication with owner. Condo was very clean with comfortable bed, and nicely appointed decor. Quick walk to the beach is always a plus. Would definitely stay again - highly recommend!
