About this house rental
Our vacation home will make the perfect place for you and your family to come visit all that Hernando Beach has to offer. This amazing stilted home features a private dock on a Direct Gulf Access canal conveniently located right near the Hernando Beach public boat ramp. Guest can enjoy using the private dock to tie off their boat overnight or enjoy catching fish from the dock with some of the provided tackle. There is also a large ice machine downstairs for guest to use on all their fishing and sand bar adventures. The home has a half bathroom downstairs and a bait freezer in the tackle room. There is also covered parking and a beautiful patio area downstairs with a built-in bar and a grill for guest to use. This house is loaded for people that like to fish from the hoses near the dock to clean the boat, the fillet table on the dock, the huge ice machine and the outdoor shower to wash off the salt and cool down when you return. When Guest enter the home they will be welcomed with modern appliances and beach decor to really give it the vacation feel of being at the beach. The home has been uprgraded and features NO CARPET. The home features a full master bedroom with a queen size bed and private master bathroom, another bedroom with x2 twin beds, another bedroom with a queen size bed and full size guest bathroom. Upstairs we have a balcony with comfortable furniture where you can watch the beautiful sunsets. Hernando Beach is conveniently located 1 hour from the Tampa International Airport for any guest flying from out of town. Hernando beach has some great restaurants and seafood companies very close to the house. There is a small restaurant and bar just across the canal which you can sit outside and enjoy the live music on the weekends. You will also have access to 3 kayaks, there are many local fishing charters and lots of cool places to check out that are close by like Weeki Wachee Springs. Wireless internet and Internet TV access are provided.

We rented this property for a week for our honeymoon with the intentions of fishing as much as possible and this place was perfect for us. I caught a stingray from the back deck, we enjoyed live music from the restaurant behind the home, and overall we had a great experience. The downstairs fish station was great to have. This home is nice and location is good for this area. The commercial fishing boats were fun to watch. The owner is great to work with and helped us with unlocking the thermostat so we could cool the house down to what we prefer during the night. Neighbors are friendly and we would stay here again.

Its hard to describe this home in just a few words, so please take a few minutes to read this review. First and foremost, we have nothing negative to even mention, the home is exactly as described here. Clean in and out. Live band/s on the weekends - The music was easy on the ears, did not keep us up at night. Bring your boat! Docking is more than sufficient for a 38ft + there. Several hoses around the home and the dock. The launch ramp is maybe 100 yards from the home, and its a mere 1/4 mile idle zone and then full throttle through the markers out into the gulf. The ice machine is a HUGE bonus if your there for fishing. Downstairs is a locked room (you get a key for). We left all of our fishing gear down there. Large bait freezer, a regular refrigerator for all your drinks. Also has a restroom. Upstairs was great. The entire home is a "beach/fishing" theme. (I want the giant grouper from the living room!). All rooms were clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were great, with AWESOME WATER PRESSURE!! I wish I had that kind of pressure at home. Hot water was plentiful, even after several showers in a row. Kitchen area is large, with all needed cookware and utensils. Living room is well laid out with more than enough seating for several guests, and right off the living room is the balcony for morning sunrises. Communication is A++. Great restaurants literally right down the street. Make sure to visit the Silver Dolphin. We will definitely be booking this home again. Thanks!!!!!!!!

The property was obviously newer and well maintained. Nicely furnished, spacious and comfortable. Well designed for a fisherman - especially if you have your own boat. Cleaning station on the deck, numerous hoses plus storeroom with a half bath are ideal for Anglers. I was looking forward to launching and using the kayaks provided but there was no convenient or safe way for us to get into them because the dock is so high above the water. A launch station would be nice. Fortunately I have my own kayak and was able to launch and fish in other areas. The shrimp boats across the canal were interesting and music from the restaurant directly across filled the air most nights. The Host and especially his son were great in communicating areas to visit and fish. Thank you for the tips Jared! Overall we were satisfied with the property- it has a lot going for it.

Beautiful clean house, love being right on the water. Entire family and pups had a wonderful time. Kids enjoyed catching fish right from the dock and listening to live music across the canal. Close to Weeki Wachi. Driveable to Tampa/Clearwater and Orlando. We would definitely stay here again.
Wanted to use Kayaks but not able to launch right from house and we didn't have a way to get it to a launching area. Just something to note if you're planning on using them. Also bring your own toilet paper and paper towels! Luckily there's a Walmart close by for all those needs.

Everything on the property was as advertised and included no surprises. Communications with the owner was spot on and very accommodating and very helpful answering any questions and providing suggestions. Location was great. On the water, docking with space for 1 large boat or 2 moderate sizes. Minutes away from anything you might need or where you want to be. The local bar provides live music across the water till 9pm, where you can enjoy from the property or close the deck and ignore. Plenty of fish mongers to fill the fridge with if you chose not to catch it from the dock.
If I were to be critical about anything, it would be the light visit of "noSeaums" in the evening, but they don't stay for long. There are fans on the balcony that helps with this, but the Seaums only stick around for dusk and dawn.
You will enjoy the location. Just treat it well and leave it clean.

Home had everything needed to cook a holiday meal. Kitchen was stocked with everything needed. House was beautifully decorated. The owner was friendly, went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as intended. He came by on Thanksgiving day because the ice machine wasn’t working. We really hated he did that we could have just bought ice for our fishing trip. Oh and the master shower! The water pressure is awesome!!

Nice clean property and great location. We brought our boat and did some fishing and spent some time at the sandbar. House was perfect. Close to the boat ramp, a very nice dock with a fish cleaning table, plenty of parking for the trailer, and a Ice Machine ☺. Not to mention the live music across the canal. Had a awsome time. Amazing place to stay
We really enjoyed staying here. Location is great and if you do a lot of fishing and boating The ideal place to stay David and Lisa have made sure that you have everything you need at the dock and downstairs to accommodate you from water hoses cleaning table to a bait freezer and an ice machine. Upstairs in the house as well it is clean and well stocked with what you need. David was very quick to respond to any questions you may have and gave suggestions on fishing and places to go.

Nice place on the water
Nice place on the water. We enjoyed the outdoor seating and grilled out quite a bit. The live music from the restaurant across the canal was a nice touch. House was clean and as pictured. The property manager was very communicative and responded to me in a timely fashion. Plenty of good restaurants in the area and Weeki Wachee Springs is a short ten minutes away. I would recommend this place and would stay here again.

Family spring break
The house was a perfect set up for my sister and I and our kids. We enjoyed the location on the canal across from the big fishing boats. It was really nice having access to the kayaks and fishing supplies. We all enjoyed fishing off the dock and paddling around our stretch of the canal. The outdoor area was nicely maintained and comfortable. We grilled out one night and had coffee on the upstairs deck in the mornings. The kitchen had nice appliances and all the right gadgets. This is a great choice if you’re looking for something close to Weeki Wachee, nice beaches and great local restaurants. Also a good spot if you plan on doing any fishing/boating.

Fantastic stay, with honest review
My family and I had a wonderful time here, but I did have a few small issues I wanted to mention. If you are very interested in using the supplied Kayaks at the home, you should be aware it is very difficult to launch these from the property. If that is your top priority, you may want to look elsewhere. The bed in the second bedroom did not have any sheets on it. We had to make the bed ourselves, not a big deal, but worth a mention. There was no toaster in the house we could find. I purchased one and left it. There was also no wine bottle opener I purchased and left that as well. Beyond those very minor things the home is a wonderful stay. The ice machine is an excellent touch and came in very handy for the coolers and our daily trips out and about. Across the canal, or around the corner is a small shop, Boat to Table. Excellent fresh sea food. I highly recommend them if you don't catch your own. All in all, we had a great time. I have stayed in several homes in Hernando Beach, and although there is nothing wrong with this home, we would likely stay at one of the others if we travel here again. Simply due to the kayaking situation. Check in and communication was excellent. Thanks Mr. Oliver for a great stay!

Loved this property. Absolutely enthralled with the shrimp boats across the canal and the free live band entertainment. There was an amazing assortment of fish in the canal and my son loved fishing from the dock. I couldn't give 5 stars only because I was forced to buy all supplies needed to stay there. I felt toilet paper, Trash bags, and paper towels should have come with the rental charges. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home.

The property looks like the pictures. The weather was perfect. There was 5 of us, so we were in the back patio area a lot. The property owner has cameras only on the back porch and you felt like he was spying on you. The neighbor was not friendly. This property is more for family or senior citizens.He said toilet paper was included,but left us with 1/2 a roll for each bathroom for a week.

The property was much nicer than the photos online. We were visiting friends 15 minutes away, so we were on the go all the time. Very convenient to bars and activities. We went kayaking and took an airboat ride. The neighborhood was quiet except when the fishing boats were coming in or going out early in the morning. Location is great if you want to get away from normal Florida hustle and bustle. Fishing was fantastic right off the dock which is spacious. The house was very clean and comfortable. Having kayaks was very nice. They do need some TLC with handles missing and be careful exiting and entering kayaks especially during low tide. Overall great experience. Great property! Loved the area!
Everything was as listed. The location was fantastic, so relaxing for a family celebrating the holidays together. We utilized the outdoor space and it gave us extra room to spread out. We loved watching the fishing boats come and go. The kitchen was well equipped. We cooked a large holiday dinner and had everything we needed. We rented a pontoon boat from Blue Pelican Marina for a day, which was so convenient since it’s literally on the same canal as the house, and it was a gorgeous day on the water!
