About this cabin rental
Dear Trail Cabin, nestled in a peaceful mountainside forest, with abundant wildlife and unprecedented seclusion, provides an authentic mountainside cabin experience which allows guests to get back to nature and provides the promise of being dazzled by the environment that surrounds you. We're rustic....but not TOO rustic for those who enjoy being pampered just a little bit.
Known for its abundant charm and luxurious accommodations, privacy and serene atmosphere, our cabin is the perfect getaway for the romantic at heart. Our cozy and inviting home features a King Bed (lovely forest view visible from the comfortable bed through French doors), 2 Beautiful Stone Wood Burning Fireplaces, an extensive library with a variety of books, leather sofa and Flat Screen Smart TV. The cabin also has a functional (but limited) kitchen to prepare your favorite meals and a charcoal grill on the totally private deck, which is covered for outdoor dining even in a gentle rain. The bathroom provides a 2-person Jacuzzi tub that also serves as a stand-up shower, an antique makeup table and a private room for the commode. Outside the cabin you'll find a fire pit with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing campfire....just bring your firewood, marshmallows and hot dogs!
Deer Trail Cabin is accessible with any kind of vehicle and is less than a quarter mile from the main road (although you'll never hear it). We are only minutes away from Eureka Springs, Beaver Lake, White River and Thorncrown Chapel. Enjoy many varied activities as you boat on Beaver Lake, float the White River, kayak, hike a trail in the Ozark Mountains, fly fish, mountain bike, climb, or even enjoy community theater and the many other attractions in and around Northwest Arkansas. Take in Eureka Springs for its highly-rated restaurants, coffee shops, art galleries, antique shops, vintage clothing and craft shops, parks, natural springs, quirky tours and let's not forget the bars and micro-breweries! If you have time for day trips, check out the nearby towns of Fayetteville (home of the Arkansas Razorbacks), Bentonville (home of the Wal-Mart museum and Crystal Bridges Art Museum (spectacular) or nearby Branson, MO and Table Rock lake. Or you may choose to bring your supplies, never leave the property and just enjoy relaxing or exploring the 10 acres of mountainside behind the cabin. Many guests do just that!!! (Dogs especially love it because they can run off leash!)

Great little, well-kept property.
Was a little weird not having any curtains. I felt a little exposed and would of been nice if at least had a shear curtain.
Overall, really loved the serine views and the relaxing environment.

It was a beautiful cabin with a very cozy vibe! My husband and I spent a lot of our time on the deck enjoying each others company along with the occasional whoot of an owl! It stormed a few nights while we were staying at the cabin, and the sound of the rain on the tin roof had me sleeping like a baby! We definitely plan to come back and stay again!

Great place to get away to and relax. The cabin had everything we needed for a long weekend away. It was a short drive to Eureka Springs and many hiking trails around the area. Communication was excellent from the hosts. Cabin was clean and well stocked with basic supplies (tp, trash bags, towels, hairdryer, coffee, etc). Directions were spot on and cabin was easy to find. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay.

What a lovely property! Check in was simple and the place was immaculate.
If you want a serene, peaceful place fir a getaway, you’ve got to go!

We loved this stay, everything was as advertised, not much negative to say about it, if I were to drum some up… we wish there would have been some k cups for the keurig already at the cabin but definitely not expected, the jacuzzi barely filled up enough before running out of hot water but it was enough, a couple nuisance flys and couldn’t find a fly swatter but a towel worked to take them out, other than that the place was very charming and private, the host was great and worked with us on check out time which was nice because it was “spring forward” and we lost an hour of sleep, there is a cabin nearby named “hoot owl cabin” and we literally saw a hoot owl right outside it and when I got to “deer trail cabin” down the way I got to show my wife my owl calling skills and hoot back and forth with it. Will return someday to revisit.

We love getting away to this cabin, it is so quiet but not too far from downtown.

Hoping we can find the time to come back to this lovely cabin. Hosts were responsive and helpful and the place was clean and so cute.

Super cute cabin. We loved everything about it except the kitchen. The kitchen is totally unusable for any sort of meal prep other than microwaving food. The sink is teeny tiny and I bumped my head on the counter trying to use it because it is back in the corner. The counter top oven has to be moved over the sink because there is no other place to put it and plug it in. It’s a shame because everything else about the place is awesome. Corners were cut on the kitchen.
We’d stay here again but will just eat out.

This place was perfect for my wife and I to celebrate our 32nd wedding anniversary. The owner even contacted us to be sure we were ok becuase it was snowing and very cold out. He was very kind and helpful. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook with. It was a cozy relaxing mini vacation. Thanks Doug for everything.

From the moment you arrive, you can't help but be inspired by this beautifully designed story-book cabin in the woods! The love and care is evident in every part of this place. Plus, the setting is so peaceful and relaxing! We even had deer come right up to the cabin one evening. It was magical!

Nice for a relaxing break after Christmas. It was charming and comfortable. I would just like to point out in detail for future guests that the limited kitchen includes a refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee pot, toaster oven and hot plate. We didn’t use anything but the refrigerator and coffee pot since we ate out for lunch and dinner but for those that wish to cook it could be useful. The pizza place is amazing as is local flavor. We hope to visit again in the future!

We booked this cabin for our stay in Eureka Springs to get married and it was the perfect place for newlyweds! It's obvious from the moment you walk in that so much love & care was given to this little cabin. It's decor and design made the perfect backdrop for bridal "getting ready" photos, too! My favorite part was listening to the windchimes at night outside of the bedroom. The cabin was easy to find, clean, and the host very attentive! Thank you for a lovely stay and we look forward to revisiting for future anniversaries!

My husband and I stayed here with our two little pups. Check-in and out were super easy, and the hosts were very communicative. The cabin was cute and cozy, with lots of unique decor. The bedroom was amazing, and the bed was super comfortable! As others have mentioned, the kitchen is quite small, and a struggle to cook and wash dishes. That was disclosed upfront, but I wanted to mention it for future guests! We enjoyed walking our pups around and lounging for a few days using the cabin's Wi-Fi. My only negative feedback is that the bathtub was a bit difficult to get in and out of due to its height; the fixtures and tub are a bit older, too. The cabin feels like it needs a good deep cleaning. It was clean "enough," but places like under the bed, tops of baseboards, etc. need to be dusted and cleaned. Overall, we had a good experience!

Property was perfect for a weekend getaway with my significant other.

The cabin was better than pictured, responsive owners, clean & well equipped with what we needed. Rained one day so read & enjoyed the deck with a warm cup of coffee. Close to Lake Leatherwood trails and Beaver Dam. Highly recommend Local Flavor Cafe in Eureka Springs. Great cabin for our 30th Anniversary!

We had a great time at this cabin. Doug was wonderful and great at communicating with us. We will be back. You won’t be disappointed with this cabin and it’s location in the area!!!

My wife and I loved our stay here and wished we could’ve stayed longer. It’s a charming space that gave us a breath away from the busyness of life. The deck, facing the woods, was the perfect place to start our mornings, it was so peaceful.
Look forward to staying again in the future.

Quiet, peaceful, beautiful and romantic retreat.

The cabin was just as pictured! I absolutely loved my stay! I went for a private, quiet retreat and this place delivered exactly what I needed. I loved all the books! The location is great too. If you what to see the beautiful lake, it's super close and if you want to head into downtown Eureka, that's pretty close too. I will definitely be back! The only thing I'd note, if you want to cook a big meal, this isn't the kitchen for you. You can cook but there's not much room for it. And the sink to clean up is small. I don't love cooking so this worked well for me.

As described, peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful location. Could have been cleaner. Storm knocked out electricity one evening, left us in the dark. After contacting the Owner, and not knowing when power might be restored we departed a day early.

Place is clean and well kept. Its out in the woods all by itself. Simply an amazing place to stay.
4.9
Good location and reasonable price.

The cabin is very tucked away in the hills of Arkansas. Beautiful tree canopy all around you. Wrap around deck was nice. Would be a great cabin to watch the trees turn in the fall or a nice winter weekend away.
4.9
The area is beautiful and quiet. We loved the cabin.

The cabin was cozy & peaceful. My husbund & I saw 2 mother deer with 2 little fawns while we were relaxing on the deck. Very private with trees surrounding the cabin. Perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. The wall of books was original and adds such character! Beautiful french doors leading out to the deck! Definitely recommend staying here!

Our stay was seamless. It is a beautiful cabin and had everything we needed and more than we expected! The attention to detail did not go unnoticed or unappreciated. My favorite was just sitting on the gorgeous porch in the mornings and listening to the birds! I climbed into the hammock to read and quickly fell asleep- it was so peaceful. We will stay again!

We stayed here for our honeymoon and could not have been more in love with it! It is so peaceful to sit on the porch, listen to the birds, and watch the deer and squirrels. The cabin was everything we could have asked for and more, and the owners were so easy to communicate with and always so kind! We will definitely be back!
4.9
The cabin is in a woodsy area with a wonderful deck. This is a great getaway cabin that is about a 15-20 minute drive outside of Eureka Springs. It is clean, well stocked, and well decorated.
4.9
Nice secluded cabin in the middle of the woods. Nice breeze with lots of songbirds while enjoying the deck. We were able to enjoy some quiet reading away from the busy world
4.9
The cabin was just as described. Rustic, well appointed, cozy. Had the pleasure of deer and turkey visitors. We will definitely be back
4.9
My husband and I absolutely loved this place. It provided the perfect experience we we hoping for. We will definitely return for future visits. This is like heaven on earth. Perfect honeymoon filled with many memories
4.9
Property was remote and secluded as we wanted yet close enough to Eureka Springs to take advantage of restaurants and shopping. Great cabin if you like to be in nature.
4.9
The property was beautiful. It was perfectly secluded but not far from things to see and do in Eureka Springs. Perfect for our honeymoon. We loved the town but the cabin was the best experience possible. Great communication from the owner before, during and after stay.
4.9
My husband and I enjoyed our stay so much we talked about going again next year! The cabin has everything you need to unplug if you want or just set back and enjoy the beautiful nature all around you! Weather you are sitting by the fire pit in the evenings or enjoying the deck just off the bedroom, morning or evening. This was a much needed vacation for us without the kids to just relax and reconnect! Thank you for sharing your charming cabin with us!!
4.9
We were so happy with this stay! The cabin exceeded our expectations and did not disappoint in anyway! The details were so thoughtful and made us feel like we were at home!!! Unbelievable property! We will definitely be back!!
4.9
We loved this cabin! The decor made it cozy and the owners thought of everything one might need when staying away from home.
4.9
My wife and I had a nice little getaway for her birthday, and simply loved the peace and quiet! It was nice to just spend time out in nature to rewind and reconnect with each other.
4.9
2nd time there and just as enjoyable as the first time.
4.9
The property was just as described and the cabin was beautifully decorated inside. The location was very secluded yet close enough to Eureka for a short drive into town. Pros: can’t beat the serenity and seclusion, cabin has everything you need to cook and stay in if you choose, the cabin is cozy. Cons: hot water heater couldn’t fill up the tub before running out of hot water (but does refill quickly) and home is drafty especially in colder weather (2 fireplaces if needed can keep you warm). All in, we would definitely stay again!
