Wonderful stay, superb location, very clean and comfortable, will certainly look to return. Only very minor criticism is the parking space as it is on grass can be muddy when wet but that does not detract.

Worth a visit .
Worth a visit .
Nice and cosy once we found the thermostat and moved it up a few degrees from 15 where it was set . Location is super , just a shame about the building works to front and right of the Beehive . Views elsewhere are lovely . Would be helpful to have a side table downstairs for drinks etc. and a second chair upstairs so the view from indoors on a colder day can be enjoyed by two people together . We really enjoyed our break and fortunately we were gifted vouchers as we found it a little expensive for a 3 night stay .

Beautiful house, very clean and comfortable, providing everything a couple could need for a relaxing stay. Not far from amenities and a short stroll to the beach. Only criticism......need new pillows on the bed!!!

Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights at the Beehive. The location is superb, ultra quiet but easy walk to shop, pubs beach etc. The accommodation is excellent, very cosy and comfortable, perfect for a couple. Would highly recommend and will try and re book ourselves soon.

A great place for relaxation and comfort
A great place for relaxation and comfort
Had a lovely stay at The Beehive in February. Felt instantly at home, It was comfy, clean, warm and has lovely views over the little river. Lovely to see the ducks, geese and other birds from upstairs and downstairs. At night it was great to be able to view the sky and stars without the usual light pollution. Only 5 mins walk from the sand dunes over the golf course and lots of pubs in walking distance as well as the beach cafe. Bed was comfortable and there was everything there you needed. The kitchen equipment is good quality and it was a pleasure to cook in the kitchen. It was nice to be left wine, biscuits and milk. The only draw back for us was that there was only a net curtain across the double door downstairs and we would have preferred a curtain to proved privacy when it was dark. This is probably not much of a problem in summer when the nights are light though. Definitely hope to be back, but can see that it gets booked up well in advance!!!

Nice place
Nice place
The Beehive was very warm and comfortable, nicely decorated and in a great location. However, the shower seemed a bit tired and didn’t drain properly, the plug in the hand basin didn’t seal, and the curtain over the front door is see-through, so not very private in the evenings with lights on. We enjoyed our stay, just some simple maintenance in the bathroom would have made all the difference.
