Loved the balcony, cleanliness, quiet of the building. The patio glass seals out road noise pretty well, given it's a main road.
Parking is a little awkward, being offsite, but it's workable.

Location of hotel to CBD
No proper place to leave suitcases before check in time

The room was modern clean and spacious. The bed was large and hard. They had a Chromecast facility that meant we could watch our own streaming services whilst staying at the property. Great view of the hills as well!
Nothing really. A high standard property.

Location was good, tram stop not too far away and close to the Court precinct where I needed to be.
There was a whistling sound when I closed my door. I think it was due to the air conditioning in the communal areas on the floor. It stopped when I had the door open but obviously that wasn't an option I was comfortable with overnight. I had to put white noise on my phone every night so I could not hear the whistling.

Close to the city this is a great location. Second time staying here and enjoyed it. Parking is a couple of streets over but that is no issue. Bed is comfortable and view over the city is nice.
Got locked out of my room, but don't imagine this would be a regular problem.
On the last night the electronics on my door stopped working and I was locked out at 9pm. There were no signs left on the reception desk with numbers to call so I had to search for the signs myself. Called the after hours hotel number (multiple times) which did not get picked up. Called the security company who came to let me in but were unable to, mixed communications to figure out what was going on. After 1.5 hours the door started working again.

The hotel is close to the tram and bus station where I can get to anywhere from city.
Staffs were nice and friendly.

In the room next to mine was a couple who were arguing, shouting and banging the walls. Since there is no reception at night I had to call the security number. They answered but when I told them the problem they put me on hold for so long that I had to hang up and call the police. Again, since there is no reception I had to wait outside at night to wait for the police in order to let them in. It turned out that was a case of âdomestic violenceâ since neither the man or the woman wanted to provide any information and the woman was too afraid to press charges there was nothing the police could do. So I was unable to sleep for the rest of the night while hearing this man abuse the woman. The security service of the hotel was extremely shameful. Wouldnât recommend anyone to stay there. A disaster of a night.

I recently stayed at Toms Court Hotel in Adelaide and had a fantastic experience. The rooms were excellent, featuring a balcony with a pleasant view. The cleanliness was commendable, and the hotel's proximity to the CBD made it convenient for exploring the city on foot. The staff was exceptionally helpful, engaging in a thoughtful discussion about nearby attractions in the CBD. Overall, a great stay with top-notch service.
However, there were some drawbacks during my stay at Toms Court Hotel. The room's card keys had issues, causing delays. The air conditioner posed an inconvenience as it seemed to have a controlled timer, turning off despite attempts to disable it. Additionally, the reception area's distance was inconvenient, especially when arriving with luggage, suggesting a need for better accessibility. One notable downside was the presence of an unnecessary loud whistling sound from an air vent outside, audible from the room. Upon inquiry, the staff mentioned that this oversight during construction had not been considered. A workaround suggested by the staff was to use a towel under the door to mitigate the noise level.

Nice clean room. Team close by for easy transport
There isnât much car parking even though on booking.com it says parking available. I was told there was no parking left. One of the gentleman who works on the front desk has some attitude problems. Rest of the staff I found very friendly.

that we stayed on the 8th floor because we have never stayed in a high floor before
walked into the room and hanging off the fire alarm was someoneâs old dirty nike sock, there was someoneâs used towel on the floor near our door, the door did really close properly use you forced it, and as soon as we stepped into our room we got a waft of cigarettes like someone had been smoking in there

The property was really clean and the bed was very comfortable. The balcony was also nice.
The seal on the shower didnât work properly so every time we used the shower, water went everywhere under the door. There was also no washing machine or dryer available on the hotel for us to use, which is not convenient for long stays.

Location was great! Walking distance to everything.
You are required to pay $100 bond upon check in and it doesnât get refunded straight away after checkout. Itâs been almost a week now and the money still hasnât been refunded back into my bank account. They didnât give us any new towels until our last day at the hotel.

Brilliant Location very close to the city. Modern room, very clean, balcony with great view
Communication beforehand could have been better. I asked a few times to receive the late check informations a day in advance because we have no mobile internet while traveling in Australia. I did not receive any infotmation at all. Had to change plans to arrive during check in hours

Very accessible to the tram. Very safe and close handy to everything.
No car parking area was a real issue - I received 2 parking fines while I was staying there - $61 each time. When you're on holiday, you normally can't keep coming back and back to the car to shift it, on days when you aren't using it. I was told to park in Halifax Street and I was away for all-day tours on both days that I received a fine. I found out on my last day that I could've booked my car into the Wilson Parking for a small fee (smaller than the fines).....however nobody at the motel bothered to tell me.
Also, a couple of the female staff knew very little about popular places around Adelaide. One in particular had never heard of Elder Park.
The only thing was the wind whistling under the door of my room, 24 hours a day. There was hardly a breath of air outside but obviously the make of the building and the little alcove for the 2 room doors, makes the wind whistle under the doors. All you need to do is put a rubber guard on the door and it would be fixed......instead, I had to put a towel along the length of my door each night.

Great location, clean and comfortable room. Balcony with good view. Helpful and pleasant staff
No staff available after 7 pm.
When we got to our room and did the late check in I noticed a strange loud noise coming from the door.. like a howling whooshing sound. When I turned the bathroom light on the sound increased. I thought there was a fault with the door lock it was so loud I thought it would disturb my sleep but when I opened the door the sound went away. Luckily there was a staff member still downstairs and she told me âoh thatâs the wind. It sometimes does that. Just put a towel on the floor in the space under the door. I did that and the problem was resolved. Maybe a sign in the room about this would be helpful.when you arrive after 7 usually thereâs no one to ask
Also would like a better internal door lock on the door.

Nice and modern.
Great location.
Loved the balcony and kitchenette. Coffee pod machine was a nice touch.
They seem a bit new, Iâm sure theyâll get better with time but our room wasnât ready by 2pm. We had to sit in the foyer and wait at least 1/2hr (probably a little longer). They had a kitchenette facility in the foyer which wouldâve been good to pass time, but the coffee machine needed top ups because we couldnât drink it.
Then our room kettle was broken and leaked out from the kettle switch all over the bench when it boiled. They were able to provide a replacement same day.
Also the parking is a few streets over down a little side street⊠not close by if you want to duck back to the car in the night.

Great location, easy to walk to key areas of the city or thereâs a tram stop right outside. Good value - easily the best I found. Lovely to have a proper wardrobe with drawers and hangers - we got nicely settled in during our 3-night stay. We were in room 802 with a balcony and good view across the city towards the hills - brilliant sunrises! Power sockets by bed, decent size towels. Full length mirror. Would happily stay again.
Aircon wouldnât come on. Incredibly noisy fan in the bathroom. Shower tended to flood a bit.

The location made it easy to find. It was an easy walk to the city and Chinatown, even Rundle Mall. There were great views over the city from our balcony.
We didnât like the smell of the air freshener. It was very strong and we had to leave the sliding door to the balcony open a little to allow the smell to dissipate. However, the smell came back once the door was closed.
