Beautiful house with lots of room. Communication was fantastic! Property needed to be cleaned and trimmed.
6.0 / 10.0
The good: Location and property were great.
The bad: House was filthy. Pots/pans/silverware had mold growing on them and silverware was put away with chunks of Mac and cheese dried on the forks and spoons.
Kitchen was infested with ants. I notified the host and they told me the owner was aware of the ant infestation and needs to do something about it. Both my dogs got severe ant bites INDOORS and had to go to the vet as soon as we fot home. My youngest daughter got 11 huge welts from ants from sleeping on the couch one night.
We were provided FIVE bath towels, TWO washcloths, and only one kitchen towel for six of us for a five day stay. We had to go to Walmart and buy our own.
House was short on all basic supplies- we didn’t have any bath soap, only two rolls of toilet paper for 5 days, and only one roll of paper towels. We had to go to the store and buy our own toilet paper, paper towels, soap, aluminum foil, plastic bags, light bulbs.
When we arrived, Toilet was leaking, kitchen sink leaked, lights were burnt out, porch swing was broken, locks on two doors were broken, and tub wouldn’t drain at all. I called the host. She told me she was aware of the problems and HOPED WE HADN’T NOTICED.
She said they couldn’t be fixed during our stay but would get fixed later. I asked for the owners contact information repeatedly and finally got it after begging. I spoke with the owner and his attitude was apathetic. Nothing he could do about it and he didn’t seem to care.

Peaceful neighborhood
This cabin is lovely! We enjoyed our stay here so much that we are definitely planning on returning to this cabin. When communicating with the owners they respond very quickly. Would definitely recommend this home to anyone who wants to feel at home away from home. Nights here are so peaceful!
Would have been nice to have a king size bed though since my toddler always ends up sleeping with us.. lol
Very nice quiet neighborhood. I like how everything is at close distance, shopping center, restaurant’s, recreation and many fun places for all ages!

Beautiful Home
This is a beautiful home, with a nicely fenced in yard, and close proximity to Payson and the surrounding area. We enjoyed our long weekend, found the owners easy to work with, and would highly recommend this property if you are looking for a place to stay in Payson.

Wonderful!
I stayed at the cabin with my aging parents and two dogs. The back yard was fenced completely for the dogs so we felt safe letting them roam with freedom out back. The house had everything one would want for a comfortable vacation. There is a bedroom downstairs so my parents and their creaky knees were wonderfully accommodated.
We felt like our comfort mattered and like rest and relaxation for the renter was the mission of the owner(s). Internet and cable television service in the mountains is often satellite based. That can become an issue in storms and there are a few infrequent and minor service disruptions. We used the time to talk, read take a nap or just sit under the patio cover and listen to and watch the storm. I found the internet and cable service to be everything one would want on vacation and trying to get time away from the things that bind them to the things they are escaping from.
We have no complaints. Our stay was perfect. If we needed anything our contact was just a call or text away. Don't hesitate to book this rental. It was extremely peaceful.

Payson Rodeo
Everything was as expected. The neighborhood is wooded and quiet. The house has a nice deck in the backyard, and has a good sized lot.
There was a small plumbing issue that was taken care of in less than an hour after I notified the owner. I would recommend this property for a small group of friends or family.

Great experience!
The owner was friendly and quick to respond to messages. The house was super clean when we arrived. All beds were very comfy (and the full sized bunks were awesome!). The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and utensils...coffee grinder, French press, a waffle maker, Zip lock bags, and wine bottle stoppers for example. We enjoyed most of our time on the back porch and the kids loved rocking on the porch swing. The neighborhood is quiet so it’s great for families!
