House was not very clean and lacked typical amenities that you would expect.
We arrived at house and dish washer was full of dirty dishes, no trash bags, etc.
House was also not very clean.
Entire experience was like staying at a frat house.
Besides the view, everything was lacking

We enjoyed our stay. The host was very responsive for things that were needed. Location was close to things downtown.

Absolutely anything you wanted to do was within 20 min. Instrux about driveway were clear and it wasn’t that bad at all. Just couldn’t get enough of the view…and from almost every window in the house. We had a great time.

Our church group really enjoyed the accommodations. Everything was really nice and comfortable. We will be looking for this same type of housing on our next out-of-town trip!

Bathrooms were not clean. Pubic hairs in both showers. Con webs n corners. Deck was shaky and fleet as if it would give way in spots. Carpenter bees everywhere on the property. Insane drive/ entrance off busy road. Dangerous and difficult.

Our family rented all three of the units available at this property. The others are called "Queen City Sanctuary w/Views" and "Riverview Retreat" or "Chalet in Cincinnati". These were used for my son's bridal party. The men used the upper house and the ladies used this unit. The lower have of this house was used as the bridal suite. The driveway has some hairpin turns, but once you see the views, you don't want to leave. I hope we might have another opportunity to rent this property again.

The stay was great! The house has an incredible view. The only negative is the driveway is VERY steep, but it wasn’t too much of an issue.

Flawed but good for price
First off, that driveway is no joke. It was repaved and all so that is good but there is very little room for error and is very slick in the rain.
Second, the house is as advertised and didn't disappoint when it came to how many it slept and the amenities it provided. We got solid use out of the poker/ dining room table so that was a great time. The poker table is definitely dirty and could use some tlc but not bad.
Third, the pot and pan situation is pretty abhorrent and could use a little investment. There was one large pan and pot so that made cooking for 10 people difficult. The stove is also quite beaten up and only three burners actually came on.
Fourth, the property is obviously a rental and things are definitely well worn. The bathroom had beaten up tile, non of the doors closed properly, the repairs made to the ceilings and walls were not done professionally and the bathtub in the first upstairs bathroom leaked quite a bit.
All the being said, it was a nice stay in a decent house with obvious shortcomings that was well priced for what it delivered

New Years.
Stayed here for New Years. Awesome place. One of the best views of the river I’ve seen. Nice place. Beautiful new black top that makes the dangerous driveway just fine. Big poker table as the indoor centerpiece. Plenty of beds. Hell of a time.

Perfect for girls weekend
This property has beautiful river views and very easy access to downtown. The full size kitchen allowed us to eat in while enjoying the river view. The house was clean, beds comfortable, and it is obvious that time and effort has gone into fixing up the property. A couple of minor disappointments leads to the 4 star rating instead of 5 star: this is a city river view therefore we could hear the road noise while out on the deck (not loud, but noticeable). The streaming service for the TV was down (we brought a portable DVD player and our own movies so not a major inconvenience for us). The bedrooms are all upstairs but there was a daybed on the main level for my sister who has difficulty with stairs. All three units on the property were occupied during our stay and we had no issues with noise or parking or sharing the (very steep) driveway. Overall, a beautiful setting.

Convenience & View! Duplex House less than desired.
The view & location are amazing on this house. Less than 5 miles to downtown & interstates! The view is as promised!
I was unaware when I confirmed the booking that it was a Duplex, so I was disappointed in that. Although we were only there in the evenings, we didn’t hear neighbors.
The house is older and run down. A lot of things were not up to my standards & we rent a lot of houses. I won’t list all the details, but if you like niceties in a rental home, don’t get this one.
The owner was nice and tried to help. He replied quickly.
The driveway wasn’t bad. It was paved well and the owners directions were helpful. We are from WV where everyone lives on hills like this one, so it wasn’t a bother to us. I could see where it may be unsettling for flatlanders. Lol

Babes supporting babes/ girls weekend getaway!
The view was just beautiful, we spent a lot of time on the beautiful wrap around porch looking at the stunning views! It was such a fun time hanging out together, playing cards and catching up! Sleeping accommodations were nice plenty of space for all the ladies, we had to share beds but no one seemed to care! We were very close to many downtown activities, got to see lots of landscape, parks and little towns all close by the house! We barely noticed the people renting the downstairs unit! A bonus was the construction going on on the main road which Ed helped us find the driveway which was a bit hard to find and the steep driveway was a bit scary but all the cars made it up and down the hill easily!
I highly recommend this rental property especially for an adult getaway and people who want to chill or be close to downtown and all the fun attractions! Thanks for an awesome weekend!

Run down, but spectacular views
Let me start off by saying that the views are incredible at this home. We stayed over the Fourth of July and had panoramic fireworks views and beautiful views of the river. However, that’s the only positive thing I have to say about our experience at this rental.
Upon arrival, we were shocked at just how very steep the driveway is to get up to the house. It was also in very bad condition (the owner has since repaved it, but this wasn’t done when we were there). The exterior of the unit is in good shape. However, inside, it’s obvious the home has not received regular maintenance. Many of the tiles in the floors are cracked, the caulking in the bathrooms is dirty, peeling and obviously very old. The vanity lights in the bathrooms had many bulbs that were out, and not replaceable because the fixtures were broken. The paint throughout the home was splotchy as if they’d tried to touch up paint many times but not with quite the right sheen or color. The wood floors are horribly creaky. It was impossible to walk on the wood floors without making tons of noise (which the owner told us bothered the people in the rental below). I would’ve been bothered, too! The wood floors were awful! The dishes in the kitchen are all mismatched and there is an overall lack of attention to detail in this unit.
When we arrived, the game room only had two of the six chairs that were shown in the pictures. The owner said the previous renters broke them. While I understand that things like that happen, he should’ve at the very least warned us…but really should’ve figured out how to get them replaced with folding chairs. We ended up bringing in big patio chairs so we could all sit at the table together.
The owner told me that he’s put a lot of money into this home in the last couple of years. While I think that’s wonderful, the fact is that many repairs are still needed and we believe he’s charging too much for a small home that needs some serious TLC. To spend nearly $800 a night after fees was probably $250 too much for a unit in this condition. We were thrilled with the views but disappointed with the rest of the unit.
The owner told me that the people below us thought we were inconsiderate of them. We were a group of twelve, with three children under 7 and a 9, 12 and 14 year old. With the squeaky floors it was absolutely impossible to be quiet.
While the views and location were spectacular, this home needs to be much less expensive.

Relaxing, comfortable and a beautiful view!!
Property was very nice and kept up. The driveways are a bit challenging but it's on a hill with an absolutely awesome view!!
We had an amazing weekend stay with friends! There was plenty of room and everything that we needed! Highly recommend!:)

Fabulous
This house was perfect for our family and friends. We had young children, and the space was perfect. The location is beautiful, and the manager was prompt with communication. The driveway is a doozy, but not enough to detour a potential guest. We look forward to our next visit!

Perfect weekend get away
We had a great weekend here! There were six women and six beds which was perfect. Plenty of space to spread out and would’ve been plenty of room for more people. The view was amazing. The property manager was very responsive and kept in contact. There was a group on the floor below us and we could not hear them at all. We had a great time!

Not listed accurately
The house was on the side of a mountain and the driveway was very steep and parking was difficult. The house could accommodate 12, but was not equipped with 12 bowls, cups, coffee mugs, and limited cooking supplies. I was very disappointed when we arrived and saw that the basement of the house was another rental and people were below us. That was not stated in the listing and I would have never rented knowing I would need to keep my kids quiet to not disturb those below us. That is the whole point when renting a house on vacation. There was another rental house up the drive and we had to share parking and driveway with them and it got difficult to come and go with others in the parking area. The TV was not user friendly and limited use of the remote. It was a very beautiful view of the Ohio River and the beds were comfortable, just not completely what I expected.

NC Family
The House was big enough for my family and space. The view was excellent, the driveway was kind of difficult with a 15 passenger van. Could use a few more Tv's. Overall a wonderful house , my family and I really enjoyed it

Beautiful views!
Wow- the views are amazing and the deck perfect for gathering. We really enjoyed our stay - the beds were very comfortable and fit our family of 8 perfectly. Only draw back is that we love to cook together and there could have been some pots, pans and glasses. But the host responded right away. But we made due with the cracked Christmas mugs and a fondue pot :). More TP is always appreciated too. But there was great gathering space for meals- we solved all the world's issues at the conference table! It reminded us of a beach house on with view of the Ohio instead.
