We loved our stay at Ximena!! The location is absolutely perfect, 5 minutes walk from the beach and the city center with many amazing restaurants. The staff was so helpful and extremely nice. The rooftop & bar made our stay perfect, we enjoyed many hours in and around the pool. Lastly, the rooms were so clean and luxurious with great WiFi, nice shower with soft towels and a great king size bed. Highly recommended!
We had a room on the street during our first night, but it was a little too noisy for us. My husband had a hard time sleeping through the cars and motorcycles driving by. Therefore we asked to switch to a room on the patio, which was much better! And the staff was very helpful

I have absolutely nothing but amazing things to say about my 5-night stay at Ximena and will stay here every time I visit Sayulita moving forward. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and everything about the room was 5 stars (comfortable bed and bedding, private porch, shower). The beaches, all the restaurants, and the center square are a max 3-block walk, making this the perfect location to escape from the noise and party in town.
Nothing. I travel 20+ times a year for work and leisure, and this was the most pleasant hotel stay I’ve had in years.

Comfortable beds, spacious rooms, solid AC, and the rooftop pool!
The coffee offered was cheap and unappealing. For a boutique hotel, they would be better off not offering coffee than offering poor quality communal coffee.

Excelente atención, el Sr Noé hace un excelente trabajo recibiendo a los huéspedes, el lugar es precioso y está impecable

Clean, comfortable, area less noisy than other nearby areas
The room we stayed in had a door connecting it to the room next door. It was locked but there was no sound insulation in the door. We could hear conversations like they were in our room. It wasn’t a problem until our last night when a family with really loud children came. We were thankful to leave the next day. Otherwise everything was perfect.

The room was beautiful with great amenities and very spacious. The hotel was definitely boutique with a faint/familial feel. The pool was cute with great views and plenty of seating to hang and work or relax. The staff was kind. I also liked that there was coffee/tea/water available in each hallway at most times of the day. And I liked that the shower (which was huge), toilet and sink were all separated by walls. I was alone but thinking about someone who is traveling in a pair or with friends would be able to have someone showering, someone doing makeup, and still have access to the restroom.
Location was a little “far” from the city center/hot happening part of Sayulita. Most things were closed by 10pm. The restaurant was never open, the only food available was guacamole (which wasn’t good) and the “bar” had no consistency in its open or close time. The bartender was nice but also not a great drink maker. So that part of the experience could definitely use work.

Staff went beyond to meet expectations. We were in Sayulita for a wedding and transportation (taxis) were difficult to get and the staff helped. Rooms were roomy and comfy. The rooftop area is lovely - unfortunately we didn't have the time to enjoy!

it was beautiful, the rooms were so comfortable and the pool was very nice
would be nice if they didn’t mind if we brought our own drinks up to the pool, in safe containers of course, if were staying at the hotel that’s a bit silly. Also just a heads up if you put more chairs by the pool and had the bartender come by and check on people I bet it would probably be more successful up there! also you can always charge a corking fee for the guests bringing their own beverages

Fantastic! Staff, service, location, pool, spacious rooms, comfy beds, showers - everything exceeded expectations!!

Nice rooms, very friendly staff, good location, nice rooftop with very nice pool and bar.
Nice details like beach and pool towels available, lots of light options, big shower, ironing board, body lotion and both fan and AC.
Extra charge for late checkout is a bit of an unncessary money grab, especially cause the amount wildly differed from when we first asked (500 MXN) to one day later (1500 MXN). After mentioning we were offered the cheaper price, they were okay with giving us that but it felt a bit weird.

I treated myself to this after an extended camping / surfing trip and it was totally worth it. The staff were accommodating and lovely. The location is great - close to the center of town, close to the beach but on the quieter north side of town. The room was spacious, the bed was super comfy, the balcony was awesome for relaxing after a day of activities, the roof top pool was a great temp and the wifi still worked so was able to work poolside, which was a great bonus. I will definitely be back and would recommend staying here.
Nothing - loved it.

Location was great, we loved the roof top patio and the aesthetic was nice, use of wood was a nice contrast to the concrete. it was clean, comfortable and nicely anointed. One suggestion, better quality coffee in the morning!

Only a 5 min walk to town square. Close, but not too close. Great coffee around the corner at Maeo. Walk to town passes by (1) awesome juice stand, (2) best and freshest churros in town and (3) best street tacos at Tal Ivan. Rooftop pool is nice, but not much of a view. Closest beach was on the quieter and less crowded stretch of Sayulita Beach--which we preferred.

Modern, beautiful, very much attention to detail, very nice pool area on the roof and a couple of blocks away from the main square thus quiet at night. Perfect place

Rooftop pool a huge plus for when you want a break from the beach. With a bar too.
Staff lovely and surprised us with chocolates and flowers for our anniversary stay. And waited up for us when our flight delayed us 6 hours and had us arriving super late.
Beds so comfy and amazing bathroom and generally quiet. Location is nice and away from the bustle of Sayulita and only a few mins walk away from the action.
We had some noise on one night which we believe was caused by another guest breaking the door to the hotel but wasn’t the hotels fault.

What an amazing experience and hotel! Absolutely exceeded my expectations with the friendly staff, beautiful room/building and location was about a 5 min walk to the little markets/downtown and 7-10 min to the beach. Jonathan was incredibly friendly and accommodating, along with the rest of the staff there. The room was exceptionally awesome, very very clean, comfortable and private. The decor and design of the building was modern and tasteful. I highly recommend to stay here and when I return to Sayulita I will personally stay again.
Not much to dislike. I know in some of the other reviews there was mention of construction, yes that's true, both sides of the street had new buildings being built. But since I was there on the weekend I didn't hear any noise, plus we were out most the day. Only heard a little fiesta close by one night.
