House was sticky /sandy/ dusty and just plain dirty. Spider webs everywhere in the house /no towel racks broken old chairs/I could go on and on. for the price I would expect something decent but this was plain dirty and felt like we got scammed -

Great location, spacious for large family, with a decent pool. Reasons i wouldnt return to this rental or refer others. Mattresses were EXTREMELY uncomfortable, pool decking had a large hole at the entry, definite safety issue, grill had no propane but was replaced within 2 hrs altho too late for that nights dinner. There wasn't any cleaning supplies, not even a broom. Cushions need to be lifted as there were food particles found there.
Doors and locks were stiff and difficult. Left refridgerator ice maker was checked by maintenance but never returned to fix it, leaving us to purchase ice. Overall the mattresses desperately need to be replaced. My absolute reason for not returning.
That being said, we made do, shouldn't have to tho for such a price.
Managed to have a great reunion and Corolla, itself, didnt disappoint as usual.

Property was the perfect size for my family, but was not thoroughly cleaned. Several bed spreads as well as fabric shower curtains had food stains. One bed spread had blood stains. Some rooms included extra bed spreads in the closet but one of them were also soiled which made me lose complete trust in the cleanliness of any of them. We had to wash most of them before we could use them. There was also a lot of dust and spider webs over the breakfast bar. One of the second floor rooms had insane amount of dust so much so that my cousing had an allergic reaction and broke out in hives. She spent the majority of our stay on the leather couch because she could not sleep in the bed. We were so worried that it could be bedbugs that we went and lifted up the mattress and found huge dust balls on the bedrails as well as on the carpet, we also found a cracker which let is know there had been no vacuuming under the bed in some time. There was sand in the master bathroom as well as animal poop on the back deck. The siding on the house is also rusted and cracked in places. I called management two days into our stay to let them know and their response was that I should've called sooner so they could bring clean linen. I let them know that we had already washed them. My famiy arrived at different times so we discovered things progressively. I tried to compile a list so I could reference everything. We made the best of it but I would not stay or recommend this house because of cleanliness.

Beautiful home that could use some TLC. Beds could use new more comfortable mattresses. Decks have some nails sticking up and one board sticking up. Rental agency very responsive to us with everything. All areas that have carpet need replaced as pet smell is pretty prominent. Take toilet paper with you! Only had it in one bathroom when we arrived. I listed all the negatives first but overall a very nice place to stay. It would have been nice if the pool could’ve been heated because the weather was cooler than usual.

Barbara thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We had 12 people 7 of them being kids and they (we) all loved it!! We can’t wait to go back! It was a beautiful home away from home with so many amenities! ❤️

This is a great house if you have a large group to gather for your special event or vacation. We were able to max out the capacity with almost no problems whatsoever. This house comes completely stocked with everything you need for cooking and entertaining. There are only a couple of little things which kept this from being an absolute five-star house.
- The beds on the bottom floor have poor quality mattresses barely sufficient for even teenagers.
- There were a couple of towel racks broken or barely attached.
We would definitely come back to this house again.

Loved this house. 5 minute walk to beach. Accommodated my family of 16 perfectly. Well-supplied kitchen. Nice pool. We had a very enjoyable week.

This property worked wonderfully for our family of 20. The location and house layout was perfect for 10 adults and 10 children. The kitchen is amazingly well equipped with 2 refrigerators, 2 dishwashers. and 2 coffee makers. We went to the beach during the day and returned later in the day when the pool was out of the sun. The 4 rating is primarily the result of some cleanliness issues and the property needing some tender loving care which will be shared with the property manager. We would definitely consider renting this property again.

OBX 2022
This property was perfect for several families. Each bedroom has a private bathroom. The rooms were spacious and made our trip so much fun! The outside pool, hot tub and volleyball court were icing on the cake! Would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants a great house where you can spend time with family or friends!

Large space great for families
We had a family vacation to OBX and this property suited our needs for all ages. Having private bathrooms in most bedrooms was an amazing amenity. They have every cooking utensil you could need and then some. It is very well designed for large groups. We contacted the property management company during our stay for a very minor issue and they were quick and responsive. There were a couple minor things that aren’t included on the VRBO listing (ie no bath mats, no kitchen hand towels provided), but all of that information was provided after booking by the property management company allowing us plenty of time to pack and plan accordingly. Overall a great stay!

Great house for family trip
Great house for a big family. Having bathroom in every room is such a nice perk. Yard was small and exterior needs some TLC. The grass in front is useless with all the hornets flying around. If backyard was bigger for after beach or pool day activities it would be a 5 out of 5.

House was great. Well equipped for any cooking you need Great location. Pool area was nice.
Great rental experience. Accommodated 16 adults easily. We rented a golf cart which made it easy to get to grocery store and shops. Over all excellent stay. Just wish the back of house would be pressure washed a little more frequently !

Family Vacation
Four generations of my family spent a week together and had a wonderful time in the pool, at the beach, on a wild horse tour, shopping and sharing meals. The house was great and well supplied with everything we needed!
A minor plumbing problem was addressed very quickly.

Family beach fun
Corolla Odyssey was spacious and comfortable for our family beach week! The pool was refreshing, and the walk to the beach, easy. Nice having 3 refrigerators! Just more open pantry space for food would be helpful. Loved the elevator! Great seeing cousins reuniting and enjoying each other!

What a property!
This home is exactly as stated. If you are thinking this may suit your needs, believe me it does. The dining table is huge and easily allowed a beautiful sit down dinner most nights. Brand new gas grill....and they were having new items delivered during our visit, obviously keeping the items clean and up to date. The pool was closed but we knew that going in. Hot tub was clean and maintained. The kitchen has more than you can imagine basically 2 of everything. I would recommend this for any family members with mobility issues as it has an elevator and bedroom on top floor which worked well for my elders. The owners of this property know what they are doing and the management corporation is a 10. Lastly, the home is a 3 minute walk to ocean via a trex deck path which is 3 homes in either direction. If you want a safe and quiet home to enjoy a vacation with your family this is the place for you! Thanks for sharing this property with my family.
