About this villa rental
Located on a cliff in an upscale neighborhood on the East End of St. Croix, Villa Paradiso is your own private mini resort and boasts one of the most jaw dropping ocean views on the island. Listen to the rolling surf as you view sunsets and sunrises while from private balconies facing East and West. Completed in 2011, this fabulous home has spectacular, million dollar vistas that will delight even the most discerning traveler. The villa offers three separate suites with their own terraces allowing couples to enjoy maximum privacy. There are breathtaking ocean views from each of the bedrooms and private patios. The home is within a short hiking distance of Jack's and Isaac's Bays (pictured) .These are pristine, secluded and mostly deserted national park beaches. The path to these beaches is directly below the house and this is the only rental property on St. Croix with direct access to the trail path as our property borders the national park. Occasionally you will meet another group on the beaches but most of the time you will have this paradise to yourselves. These beaches are perfect for snorkeling and playing in the waves. The home is tastefully decorated with interesting antiques, four poster beds and bright Caribbean colors, and is a perfect retreat for two or three couples (the pricing shown is for two people-additional charge per person over two). The great room/kitchen opens to the spacious terrace with open air dining and seating. The knife edge saline pool blends with the ocean and the underwater benches are the perfect spot for sipping cocktails and watching the sunset . The ambience of the home is casual Caribbean elegance and it is maintained to the highest standards by our team. Our wonderful reviews show our attention to detail in every aspect of your stay, from the moment your arrive to when you depart Villa Paradiso. You will never want to leave.
We are sorry but the property is not suitable for children. Children must be 10 years or older. We are firm on this. There are some large drop offs from the patio and pool which could be very hazardous to toddlers or inquisitive children.
The villa has a whole house generator in case of power failures. DISH, ROKU, DVD movies and a Wii station are available.

Our first trip to St. Croix, and Villa Paradiso

Good: View
Bad: We asked for a refund which the owner is trying to be deceptive in completing the process even though they have agreed in writing to give the full refund. Worst location on the island. Deceptive in actual location of property until one day before when a Google Pin was sent to me. Location was no where near the actual location. The house was absolutely not cleaned. Floors dirty with crumbs of food everywhere which caused those pesky ants to come inside and was everywhere including all over the kitchen countertops. Really bad if you want to do anything on the countertops. Lock broke on the 3rd bedroom door which could not be accessed and the locksmith stated could not be fixed while we were there (outside room). I slipped and fell on the steps leading to the 3rd bedroom which were slippery from the rain the night before. The water was turned off while we were there with 15 minute notification. The owners were completely non-responsive to us and VRBO the 1st day. And non-responsive to process refund. Agreed to a refund but playing games to process. Total home can be accessed by climbing over a low wall. Not clean. Ants everywhere. Not safe. Check the pillows…soiled. Trash under beds and furniture. We stayed a few hours and found another place to stay. I Have pictures.

We made such impactful memories in our first trip to St. Croix last year, we came back to the familiar setting. Everything was just as we expected, a lovely place. It is nice to have access to the beach that is for all intent and purposes, our “private” beach. The views from the property are amazing, listening to the ocean in the morning, watching the sunrise, all amazing. The property owner is amazing and VERY accommodating, and the property manager, Jenn, is friendly and a valuable resource for island information. We come to St. Croix to enjoy the quiet and less typical tourist locations, and this place is the ideal place to stay, giving access to all you need. Anytime we find ourselves in St. Croix, even once we become empty nesters, we will be here, it is THAT worth it.

First off, the beds were comfortable, which is super important to me. It has plenty of room. I love the way that the bedrooms each other a little entry for a lot of privacy. You almost looks too good to believe but it is true and awesome.

My wife and I plus my sister and brother-in-law stayed for 7 days. The location is right next to the Nature Conservancy reserve on the east end, with direct access to the hiking trails and Issac’s and Jack’s bay beaches. Very quiet location and a bit remote. Wonderful views, but the patio area could get quite hot in the afternoon as the house faces south. House is really set up for2 to 3 adult couples. Communication with the host was great.
The condition of the house itself was like every other VRBO I’ve stayed at in the USVI, nice, clean, but a bit worn in places. Several of the lights did not work and one of the awnings outside did not work. The kitchen was well equipped, but they need a bread knife and some more wine glasses. Be careful entering the pool as the first step is quite slippery!
Before buying any liquor I would recommend checking out the cabinets under the kitchen Island. On the last day we discovered there was quite a selection there, and we added our own purchases to it 😁. There were also quite a lot of supplies in the kitchen and fridge.
Overall we had a great time.

This has been one of the most beautiful places we stayed in. We’ve traveled all over the Caribbean, but this is one of our favorites. The view is magnificent. The house is pristine the island and the people are kind and very helpful and fun don’t miss the amazing cheeseburgers at Shup’s, and the Monday night party at Ziggys

Everything was first rate at this property for us. The Manager Jean did a great job. Especially how quickly she responded when we had questions. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back or book any property Jean handles.

We were looking for a private getaway for our 20th anniversary and this home perfectly fit the bill. The description and all the reviews were spot on. There was nothing we needed that wasn't there - and the property manager was immediately responsive when needed (nice touch on the welcome gift). The pool and views were the highlight. The hike down to Jack's beach wasn't bad but do read all the reviews on that - for us, the beach wasn't worth the hike but that's subjective. (too much kelp, bad smell and water too murky/choppy to even want to venture in - but a strong thunderstorm had just blown through, so....) Overall, a wonderful home, spectacular views and great experience!

The home, the area, the hostess were all top notch. Exactly as it appears online - but better! Our top things to know:
1. We ventured down the path to Jack Bay and Horseshoe Bay is right there as well - lovely and JUST US! Was like our own personal beach. (we were there the last week of July)
2. Seaside Market is the best grocery store. However, the smaller ones are well stocked but lack variety in meat/produce
3 The Bioluminescent Tour with clear kayaks was a must-do!
4. If you want to enjoy local fun go to Castaways - but be ready for a long wait for your food. It is worth it! We went on Bingo night and Trivia night - was fun.
5. Plan a 'down-day' to just hang at the house/pool - vacations that are go-go-go are tough. We took the last 2 days to relax and everyone went home not exhausted from vacation.
6. If you venture into the rainforest on Mahogany Road be ready for a beautiful but bumpy ride (we had a Jeep).
7. Don't fret about being on the opposite side of the island from the airport - easy drive and the island isn't very big - so getting anywhere from this location is easy. But when you arrive at 'home' there is no noise, traffic, or tourists! Great silence!
8. Well stocked kitchen with plenty of pots/pans/etc. and spices - as well as some condiments in the fridge. Just be sure to get the fridge doors closed :)
9. Keep in mind if you have little ones that the bedrooms are NOT in the same building - you access them via the courtyard/pool area.

We don't want to tell you how gorgeous and selfie-inducing the panoramic ocean views are from the common patio and each bedroom terrace. We don't want you to know that we wished we had done less during our week on the island and had spent more time just floating in the delicious pool. We hope you don't find out that some of the best meals we had on St. Croix were at the patio table with just family, a Caribbean breeze and local music playing on the stereo. We're not going to talk about the Virgin Island's "curveballs" or how extraordinarily responsive and helpful the property manager, Jenn, and the owners were when they happened. We don't want you to know any of these things because we want to keep this place all to ourselves! We'll be back to Villa Paradiso!!
We DO want to warn you to bring the proper sneakers and plenty of fluids if attempting the hike to secluded Isaac's Bay in the heat of the summer.

The house was great for 3 couples with the pool in the center! The location was perfect for all the activities and dining we were looking for😀

We had a wonderful time at Grapetree. The home had everything we needed, including snorkel equipment and beach chairs. Spectacular views of the Grapetree area and the ocean.
Only 2 problems: some lights burned out in kitchen, made it a little difficult to see at night. And downstairs bedroom had an ant problem. There was bug spray at the house so we dealt with that.
Otherwise a wonderful stay. We’d definitely rent here again.

Everything was generally OK. Kitchen was very organized. We had a maintenance issue occur during our stay and management was very responsive and made a reasonable accommodation for the inconvenience. As this is a ski resort, we would have liked to seen ski racks and coat hooks in the unit. Also, the unit spans two stories, but the access lock was only available on the second floor, which made the first floor bedrooms inconvenient with having to go up to the second floor to exit the unit.

Exactly as described. We scoured the reviews and the property was just as described. The hike to Jacks and Isaac’s Bay beaches requires proper footwear (not flip flops) - instead, rugged outdoor sandals or shoes due to true hiking with rocks, etc. Bring your beach stuff in a backpack or bag that you can hike with. Definitely worth the exercise getting there, easy to reach via from the house.
The pool and patio are clean and very enjoyable. The two bedrooms are separate from the main house and master suite, connected by the common patio area. This was nice as it creates a spacious retreat for couples and family members wanting privacy. All is connected by shared space and all is secure and enclosed by heavy doors creating a sense of safety. The air conditioning is great, allowing time to cool off in the living area after spending time in the hot sun and pool area. The kitchen is stocked with items like seasonings, spices, cooking aids and all the dishes and cooking tools one could need. We got groceries at the Seaside Market and Deli, which also has a coffee shop and meat counter. We grilled using the brand new grill at the house. The bathrooms all have towels. The laundry room is a major bonus.
The only thing I’d suggest is a Kuerig instead of the brew pot, yet some people may prefer this. All in all a perfect choice which we highly recommend. Thank you for a dream vacation!

This place did not disappoint... amazing views, perfect location, wonderful furnishings. Beds were comfy, amount of outdoor furniture was great, plenty of kitchen supplies. Everything was clean...pool was amazing. The location could not have been better, especially if you enjoy walks/ hiking to beaches where you can swim and snorkel. Close enough to grocery stores and restaurants. We hope to stay here again in the future... it's an amazing property!!

We thoroughly enjoyed another amazing vacation at Villa Paradiso. The house, the location and the amenities are all impeccable. We hope to visit again! The mounted smart television upgrade in the Primary bedroom was a really nice addition. We truly love doing not much of anything when we visit, enjoying the views, the awesome salt water pool, sleeping and eating great local cuisine (Duggans, Chef Aaron's special days at Ziggys and the newly renovated Grapetree Hotel are a few favs).
One suggestion - removing access to the clothes closet in the Primary bedroom posed challenges and was disappointing. Would suggest making that available for guests again. Women wear long dresses and those could not be accommodated in the small/short wardrobe provided.

Beautiful home with all the amenities and plenty of room for 6 adults. The view is gorgeous. With clear skies, the star gazing was amazing!

We rented this location solely on how aesthetically pleasing it was. Lol But it exceeded our expectations! Me and Josh eloped on jacks bay, just the two of us, my photographer, videographer and officiant. It was so sweet. I digress. The hike to jacks bay from the house is a beautiful one, a little difficult in a wedding dress and suit but absolutely incredible. The pool overlooking the ocean is other worldly. They provide lots of info for you regarding the “hot spots” and a closet full of snorkel gear, beach bags etc for the borrowing For any day at the beach or pool. It has been a magical week. I’ll never forget this place. It was host to my greatest adventures. :)
Thus far. It’s a little bit of a drive to places but you’ll become familiar after a few days. Enjoy the peacefulness. 10/10 would recommend :)

Loved the east end location...quiet but close to some outstanding restaurants. Had a great time at the beaches at the Buccaneer Hotel...seaweed-free and very comfortable. The hike from the home down to Jack's and Isaac's Bay was a bit more strenuous than advertised...and Jack's was clogged with sargassum. House was wonderfully laid out...three separate bedrooms felt like three separate apartments. House was also very well-appointed (more remotes than we could count for the TVs but why watch them when the views from the deck are so gorgeous). Liz was very helpful with the check-in process. A wonderful time of making memories!

Perfect
The property was perfect. Private location and allowed for personal privacy when you wanted and a great gathering space as well. 10 minute walk to the beach, which was nice, but seedweed covered at this time of year. The property manager was wonderful! Helped us get started and on our trip and shared her knowledge with us more than once while on the island. Thanks!!! We had a wonderful time and would recommend the property to anyone.

The property is all that they say it is fantastic views. The rooms were large and the beds were great. The house came with everything you need for a beach vacation. We even found the Grapetree Hotel (right below the house) to have a nice bar and pretty good food. When I return to the island I hope to be staying here again

Elizabeth, the property mgr, communicated very well with us prior to trip and gave us some recs of where to go and visit. She greets you at the airport and we followed her to the house. She pointed out important places we would need to know while staying on island. The house and view is spectacular. We were never let down. The house is def meant for older kids or adults only trips. We liked that our kids could have their own suites with a view and we ate most meals outside. Beds are incredibly comfy and house was clean. It takes about 30 min to get to Christiansted and at least 50 min to get to Fredericksted. We would highly rec it !

We loved this property! Liz (the property manager) met us at the airport, escorted us to the property, and made sure we had what we needed. The house was lovely! Great pool overlooking the ocean. The kitchen was well equipped. Bedrooms - very private. Took some time getting used to all of the remotes in the main living space. A few cobwebs here and there, but overall it was great. Have recommended to friends.

Wow wow wow!
This was a much anticipated adult getaway for me and my husband, parents of two children. We work very hard and forget to play hard sometimes, but boy did this vacation and amazing property deliver! We loved just spending time at the house with the wall pulled back, on the patio or in the pool. We never really needed to leave, but we did get all over the island and enjoyed it so much! Rent an SUV, roads are rough. Best vacation of our lives and provided the perfect place to truly unwind. Love the quiet east end location, secluded yet still very close to great spots. Highly recommend: Ziggy's Sunday brunch or just an afternoon cocktail, Castaways pizza/Bingo night on Wednesdays, Too Chez (filet burger), Savant, Blue Water Terrace, Rainbow Beach, Point Udall, Jack's and Isaac's Beach. Friendly island vibes everywhere we went, lovely welcoming people. Thank you for sharing your lovely home and to Liz for her ease of access and taking such good care of us during our stay - great communication.

This is an awesome house in a great location. The east end of the island has so much to offer. The views were incredible, the house is gorgeous and the pool was heaven. The accommodations were perfect. Bill met us at the airport and the whole check in process was easy-peasy. The home was super clean with a well stocked kitchen. The home had everything you could need and then some. I can't rate this home high enough and can't wait to go back! I will rent a jeep or SUV next time instead of a car only because the roads and parking lots of some of the restaurants were rough with ruts and pot holes.
