Very pleasant we were provided with battery lights because of the load shedding

They made me a special breakfast as we are vegetarian, they usually do continental with cold meats so this was much appreciated.

Would stay again.

Great location. Very comfortable. Huge bathroom. Great host and very helpful. Extremely fast wifi.

A bit of black mould in the shower. Otherwise spotless.

Clean and comfortable accommodation in a pleasant quiet location

Bed was very comfortable, our host Nelia was very friendly. We were located 5 minutes away by car from cafes and restaurants at the beach and just a couple of minutes walk from local stores and bars. Very quiet safe area. Room included a very large bathroom, sliding doors out onto a deck and continental breakfast was served one flight upstairs.

The pool did not appear to have been cleaned.

Bliss is what it wasn’t!?

The breakfast was very poor. The croissants were limp & there was only margarine, not butter. There was cereal but no bowls were provided. The bed linen was clean. Mrs Venter,the manager,was pleasant, but obviously not concerned about keeping an eye on the establishment

Everything. Everywhere was dirty & uncared for. No toiletries despite being stated that they would be provided. Not even any hand soap in the bathroom until requested. Dirty pool,dirty entrance,dirty shower & dirty outside furniture & cushions. Only one small torch provided, despite load shedding being a constant problem day & night.

Tired property up for sale. Needs investment and a serious update.

Location was good. Near the beach and shops.

The property is up for sale and it needs to be sold quickly. Looks like the owner hasn't made the recent investment required to keep the place up to scratch. A bit dilapidated and tired-looking. Needs investment and an update. No aircon and the room fan didn't work - hot and clammy night with the windows and verandah door open. Luckily, no mozzies. Tiny pool not working and dirty. Outside decking and furniture in a poor state. Not good really. Glad it was only one night.

Comfortable beds, big bathrooms, parking in front of the house possible, good WIFI, grocery store and pharmacy close-by

First thing we saw: property is for sale, pool neither clean nor big (simply not as expected), frankly - rooms could have been cleaner and due to the lay-out of the property, the family living in the secand half will pass your "living area" whenever they come and leave, breakfast was not good

very nice room.very well situated.hostess was very friendly and gave us all the information we needed on activities to do in the area.keep in mind that the breakfast supplied is a continental breakfast so don’t expect a traditional restaurant.we really enjoyed our stay

Never again!

The room was cold, nothing to feel comfortable, there was mold in the bathroom and shower. Despite discription there was no drinking water provided (and after request never brought despite promise). Outdoor facilities including pool utterly neglected - probably not cleaned for months. Breakfast: socalled continental... poorest/ cheapest quality, instant coffee, tiny amount of milk...

Booking.com made the booking process so easy, arrived and checkin was quick. Our room was very comfortable and had lots of cupboard space. Bliss in the Bay is very central and an easy quick walk to Central and Roberg beaches.

Superb

Well located, not far from the Robberg nature reserve (10 mins by car). Restaurants, a gas station and a market nearby (300m distance). Big room and a enormous bathroom. Good breakfast delivery in the room. A place to park in front of the hotel. Great staff. Great value for the money.

A lovely property, very friendly hosts who gave us ideas of things to do while in Plettenberg Bay, great breakfast, comfortable rooms and good location. Would stay again if we are in the area

Very poorly run guesthouse. Everything is cheap

The owner is stingy. No hand towels, no top sheet , single ply toilet paper, one sachet of coffe and one sachet of sugar each , no glases , breakfast was late so we left without it.

Every thing was bad . Parking, bed ,towels , kettle unable to reach plug, mosquitos, fridge was off . Terrible experience. Never again . Stay away.

We initially booked the budget room which was very small so we upgrade to a larger room at an additional cost and this was so much better.

We were told that there will no cleaning of the room and no broom was also provided. No refuse bags

There was no variety in terms of breakfast, no eggs, you cannot eat one thing every day. Furthermore it was noisy children running on the other room.
