Recently built Single Family House right off the 395 and minutes from D.C Downtown with complete privacy, small front yard with BBQ grill and low seats.
House has a separate entrance and its separated from the main house on the right completely. It has a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom 2 queen beds in the bedroom upstairs and a sleeper sofa downstairs in the living room.

Drove from Washington Main Street Station to the property and I would say that it is conveniently located from everything. The bathroom floor was a bit dirty with loose hairs and the shower space needs a little more TLC. The first night, we had trouble finding the air mattresses that were described in the listing, but the next morning we met with the host and he had to unlocked them from his private closet. Master bedroom’s bed is kind of a memory foam type (super firm btw). Internet service never worked for us.

The inside of house was nice and description and pictures were accurate. The outside however does not look like the picture. Weeds everywhere broken lawn chair with no pads. We sat on the cement steps. The description says pit fire. Which we thought was a fire pit. When I asked what that meant I was never given a response. I asked for cushions and was told prior tenants dogs chewed them. Not sure why that affects us but I hope they buy new ones for the next tenant.

We stayed for a month while visiting family, and the location is perfect for accessing anywhere you need to go whether to get groceries, food, sight seeing, or just exploring. The neighborhood is extremely quiet, and you would never know the owners are next door because they are so quiet, yet are immediately available if you have any questions. It was just right for our stay!

There was just enough room for our family of 4. Close to DC for the museums and attractions and neighborhood is quiet. Parking was easy in the driveway and with the location, we were able to avoid most of the traffic in the DC area to get around.

From booking to checkin to checkout, this property was a dream. The property manager was excellent to deal with, very communicative, and knew when to allow us to adventure on our own. We traveled with 2 adults, a 12 year old, a 10 year old, and a 6 year old. This property was plenty big for our quick adventure in DC. We drove into the district each day, parked the car, and Ubered or walked where we needed to go. The neighborhood is just off the highway but is very quiet, safe, and perfect to feel like you’re not far from the action but close enough to get into it if you want to. The property was clean and neat and everything was as described. Excellent choice for a family looking for a few days (or more!) in DC.

Quiet neighborhood and house on a dead end street. Off street parking. Playground behind the school just at the end of the street. Good use of the space in this little house. Short walk to the bus station that takes you to the metro. Easy into DC. Go to mwata.com to enter the house address and your destination for simple directions for buses and metro lines into town. Can walk to a nice choice of restaurants and Giant if you need a few things. Owner very responsive. Great stay!

Booked a last minute one night stay for our family of 6, (me, wife, 4 kids), and this place met our needs perfectly. Space is newly done and very clean. Check-in/check-out was easy, and the location was great. Quick, easy drive to the monuments, etc. Would book again.

This small cottage is great for those looking at easy access to DC and/or access to Arlington, VA. It's an easy walk to the Arlington National Cemetery. I would have appreciated opportunity to get more information about access to the house sooner and ability to speak with the owner. Overall, great stay, wonderful house and location.
