About this house rental
Beaches, rugged coastline and native bushland are all within easy reach of this five-acre property that can sleep up to 7 in a comfortable farmhouse.
The house has three living areas - one with a library - and a kitchen with a view to the Southern Ocean across rolling hills.
The house and property face the ocean, just 7km from the iconic 12 Apostles and the Great Ocean Walk along spectacular cliffs and heath-covered headlands.
Bushland with walking trails, echidnas, kangaroos and native birds is five minutes walk away.
Relax in peace, gazing at the ocean and the unusual mullet pines, while spotting wedge-tailed eagles or watching the dairy cows meander by on neighbouring dairy properties. At night enjoy the Milky Way.
There is a basketball half-court as well as plenty of space for kicking the football or a game of cricket. Croquet and boules available. An outdoor pavilion has a barbecue (Weber) and beautiful elevated ocean views.
Accommodation includes one king-sized bed, and two queen beds. Each room with its own aspect of the garden and beyond. A trundle bed for a child also available.
Meals are easy in the fully equipped kitchen with its espresso coffee machine, electric stove, oven and microwave. Dishwasher also to support the cleaning up. Supplies are 15 minutes away from Timboon or Port Campbell.
Play an old LP record and relax in the south and west facing sun room with views to the ocean. We welcome feedback on the collection and of course what your playlist included.
2 bathrooms with showers (one with separate WC).
It’s rustic, spacious, comfortable and cosy.
Enjoy G.O.R.G.E chocolate factory, a cheese factory, Great Ocean Walk, Timboon Heritage Trail, Twelve Apostles Food Artisans Gourmet Trail, volcanic lakes and so much more in the area.
Nearby is the historic village of Timboon, with it’s Railway Walk through old-growth forests, as well as the fishing-harbour town of Port Campbell and the beaches and rock pools of Peterborough.

Air conditioning didn’t work, portable oil heaters to use , gas hot water system ran out off gas!
Old musty farm house, Ok for some, but very expensive compared to others.

The location is wonderful and the view is amazing. We arrived on a warm-ish day...while there was air-conditioning in the living room, there were only fans in the bedrooms. Beds were very comfortable and everything we needed was there, but the property could benefit from a bit of updating.

Wonderful place in a great location. Very handy for the 12 Apostles etc. It was so nice and relaxing to return to such nice surroundings each day. The view of the hills and ocean was lovely too.

We loved our stay at this terrific house in a beautiful and peaceful location with views out to the ocean. Easy communication with our hosts.

The house is most comfortable. It was great to have our dog be able to stay too albeit on the lead outside at all times due to no fencing and proximity to road. A lovely rural district too.

Beautiful property. Easy checkin. Decently stocked pantry and all amenities were included. Place especially kitchen needs a thorough declutter and clean. Shelves were dusty and cutlery, serving ware, etc was a bit dirty.

Beautiful spot set back from the GOR. Large garden and fantastic views of the countryside.
House is a good size and very well stocked with regards to facilities.
Constructive feedback - update property description (e.g. there is no table tennis table) and clear out/update garden. Note this feedback did not at all affect our enjoyment of our stay.

I would like a refund thanks Jason as First I booked the wrong dates this cost me two nights Not refundable. Then on day of new booking on arrival the house had a musty smell, A/C not Working, no fireplace as listed, oil heaters supplied, tripped circuit a few times. Hot water ran out morning day2 till am day three. Got a blanket from the cupboard smelt musty.
The most expensive booking, accommodation is locked up, not prepared for arrival, poor detail. Other Accomodation on trip higher quality for less money for 1/2 the price. House, needs a thorough clean out and freshen up, washing curtains cushions and de cluttering kitchen cutlery and utensils.

Rural getaway
Lots of space for the family and beautiful rural setting. Not far from town centre of Port Campbell and Timboon. We had a relaxing getaway and was nice to take our dogs with us too.

Perfect rustic farm stay
We stayed here for 2 nights after driving the Great Ocean Rd from the Yarra Valley on Day 1. Staying over night meant we could explore the rest of the drive at our own pace. Super close to The 12 Apostles making it perfect to see at sunset. The outlook from this house is amazing. Kids and dog all loved it. Thanks for letting us stay here 😊

A good stay in the countryside yet near the sea
The house is charming and set in lovely grounds near dairy farms. The Myanmar artefacts are interesting and give a pleasant feel to the house. The views are fantastic. The property was clean and comfortable. Our family enjoyed the facilities and games.

Perfect break
The house is old but full of interesting things and is very comfortable. Good beds, warm bedding, hot showers, washing machine and well equipped kitchen. The views are stunning and the garden is great. My dog and teens loved exploring and spent hours in the garden! Good location for seeing the local area - lots of kangaroos in Princetown and fairy penguins at 12 Apostles. Would definitely book again!

Great place to get away from everything.
Really enjoyed our stay. The space is rustic but had everything we needed for a three day break from the sweltering heat in Melbourne.

Amazing Views
This property has the most amazing views. The house is super comfortable, bedding, sheets and towels all spotless. The owner Jason was great with his communications, not that we needed to contact him during our stay as everything was in great working order. We would love to return to this little slice of heaven, highly recommend. The record player was an addded bonus, our boys had never used one before!! 10/10 stay

Perfect country holiday house- near the beach!
Such a lovely, welcoming home! Thoughtfully appointed with everything needed to settle in- really great library and collection of games. Lots of family space and lots of quiet space too. Everything was exceptionally comfortable- we all slept so well! Great kitchen (it was especially nice to do meal prep gazing out of the kitchen windows). Such spectacular sunset views! And incredible night skies. Kids loved visiting the neighborhood cows. We would love to back for a longer stay.

Beautiful, well appointed home
We took our two dogs to this property for 3 nights. The house is cosy and amazingly stocked with games, sports, books, and the record player and selection of records is out of this world. The wifi is fast (I was able to conduct a skype meeting without any hiccups) and renovated bathrooms and laundry makes the place as modern as it needs to be.
Please note the dogs will get out if let outside- fences on 3 sides are meant for livestock and the road side is open. If it was all fenced in for dogs we'd probably live there! Thanks again Jason for your flexibility and for sharing your record collection.

Great spot for a quiet getaway
Suited us well, plenty of space to relax and our dog loved it too :) he's a bit reactive so being somewhere isolated was perfect for him.

Great place as a base for an active holiday
Well equiped house with character and amazing views that has great ammenities and “things to do”. The activities available in the house meant that our teenage boys were never bored. Lots of sights to visit nearby too. Highlights were: sunset viewing if 12 Apostles, watching the cows being milked at Apollo Whey (4:30pm) while eating one of their Gelato, kayaking the Gelibrand River, hiking the Great Ocean Walk.

Relaxing farm house.
Authentic farm property with views of ocean and dairy country. Fantastic garden to enjoy gaming activities or just relaxing. A very quite location, well away from any bustling town action.

The property is an old farm style house, with the appropriate rustic charm and nuances. A lovely homely feel. Beds mattresses were newer and extremely comfortable, and showers worked well. It was exactly what we expected and needed. Large property with lots of outside space and activities to be undertaken (tree swing, croquet, cricket, basketball, bochy, table tennis, soccer etc.) Items for activities supplied onsite. Extensive library of books, but just not enough time to read them! Pantry was well stocked (with a help yourself note). Given the unseasonably cold spell in the middle of summer, the fireplace was welcome, and well used for a couple of days.Nice remote location away from others, whilst handy to tourist attractions. Owner added some nice touches on arrival, including samples of local wines, and fresh cut flowers from the garden.Kids enjoyed watching animals outside everyday, and exploring property. For those other times chilling inside, loved exploring the record (yes, records) collection. Or watching Amazon Prime or Netflix.

Jason is an amazing host at a wonderful farmhouse
It’s a lovely farmhouse which can easily sleep 8 or so. Large comfy spaces. Hosts thought of lot of things (table tennis, basketball, a tube of sunscreen, tons of herbs in the pantry just to name a few). Clean linen and squeaky clean bathrooms. Excellent stay. Thanks Jason!
