We had a great stay in the condo. The check in process and condo entrance info was simple! While we didn’t have use for it during our 2 night stay, the condo was well stocked! It was clean and well maintained!
3.0 / 5.0
Pros:
-Location was easy to find.
-Area around the unit is gorgeous.
-There are many outdoor activities available within a short distance.
-Charming/cozy setup
Cons:
-Noisy; we had neighbors upstairs that arrived after midnight that we could hear pacing well into 3am on both nights of our stay.
-Cars were parked with lights on facing the living room where one of the guests was sleeping on the futon. One car was parked for nearly 30 minutes just before midnight when everyone was trying to sleep and their headlights were projecting directly into the room with no way to block them. Cars were moving in and out all throughout the night, which added to the noise issue.
-When we arrived, ALL of the towels in the unit were damp; it's as if they didn't dry in time so they put them out anyway just before we checked in.
-The unit had not been swept in quite some time and there was garbage left by the previous occupants.
-A floor strip had come off under one of the doors and nails were exposed. I had to fix it myself so that my kids would not step on it.
-The unit was quite dusty and I'm not sure of the last time someone actually deep-cleaned anything.

This is the worst place I have ever stayed at. I have traveled about 75 percent of the US staying in condos and hotels. When you walk in, there is a sign that says to take your shoes off however the rugs were extremely dirty. We could not use the sheets of the bed because they had hairs all over them. Clearly they had not been washed/cleaned from the guest before us. One of the bed covers was so filthy that I can assure you it has not been washed in months. I was going to wash them however I was not about to give up my vacation time to go do someone else job. We couldn't use the extras because they were also dirty. There was 1 hand towel that had spots on it and was clearly not washed. We could not use one of the bathroom showers because when we used it the sewer smell was horrendous. Maybe that room had not been in use recently but the smell was disgusting. We are not picky people but our stay was not the best. I am saying this because I want to make the cleaning people aware about this.

While not technically ski in ski out, it was a quick 30 yard walk to the edge of the ski area on relatively flat terrain. This condo was nothing fancy but very budget friendly.

Convenient spot to stay. Easy access and well described.
3.0 / 5.0
Convenient location. Needs updating and maintenance. Base heaters in the main area didn't work, temperature could not be regulated throughout the condo.

The place was nice and seemed well kept. The only problem was with 8 people it was uncomfortable only because of the pullout sofa. if you have more than 6 I would suggest you find a larger place to stay. Other than that it was great and fit what we needed perfectly.

Management was easy to communicate with. The property was clean and well maintained, as well as just being a very pretty property.

First the bad: The entry light didn't work. Kitchen drawers are appalling--broken. Kitchen sink leaks. Grill is terrible!! Slider screen door does not work properly. The blinds on the windows are old and broken. King bed bathroom sink drains VERY slowly. Tablet didn't work. Poor/cheap towels. Loose toilet seat in first bathroom.Carpets are old and dirty. And, the most important--they should let you know you are virtually living in a basement!!! No patio to speak of and no deck. Very dark and dismal.
THE GOOD:
Thank God for the Purgatory resort. It made us feel a little normal. All the condos around us seemed new and fresh. Angel Haus looked and felt like we were back in the 70's....old and not kept up. Also, you are right near the Alpine Slide, Coaster and chairlift. So, for $54 for one day you could ride the slide, coaster and lift as much as you wanted (up till 1:30) and also use the kayaks across the street!! That was the saving grace. The price was reasonable, but we won't be staying here again.

Great location for walking to purgatory.
The location is great, able to walk about 3-4 min to get to the slopes. Definitely an older unit and some upgrades would be helpful. Master bed seems old and small (more like a full size than a queen). Large double bunks in 2nd room are great for kids. Appliances old but worked well enough. Tricky to regulate the temp of the unit but the wood burning stove was very helpful. Need to bring your own wood, kindling and hatchet. We got a lot of snow and we needed chains just for parking lot which doesn’t get plowed very well. Communication with management team was good. Helped with everything we needed.

Decent little condo
Decent sized condo if you have only 4-5 people, more than that it feels cramped. The pull out couch wasn’t clean and we had to do laundry to sleep on the sheets. The laundry facility is not free and there is not coin machine. The kitchen and 1 bathroom are very dated. The kitchen pots and pans are old but get the job done. The mast bath has not been redone and is nothing fancy. Communication with the property managers can be done via txt which is handy. Otherwise the property is a very short walk to the slopes with excellent access. Parking is difficult as with the snow, there isn’t a lot of places to park that are actually at the condo site. Overall I would stay here again.

Perfect for a family getaway!
The price was right and the accommodations were just what we needed to be close to the mountain. Kitchen was stocked with just about everything we needed to prepare meals.

Just what we wanted!
We were looking for a place that was not quite as expensive as some of the other places but still close to the slopes! This location was wonderful for that! in fact my brother came to our house every evening because the property that he paid twice as much for had next to no kitchen. If your looking for an adorable family house this is the place! I would come back!

No view but Affordable unit
No view at all, an older property and it certainly shows a bit. However, affordable it was an unit!
We had no heat in the main room (kitchen, dining area and living room). Jenn, the PM had great communication and asked us to wait until the next morning since they didn’t have anybody to fix the heat. We woke up to an uncomfortable 58 degrees. When we came back from skiing we had a space heater on the unit, which helped.
Overall, I will pay more attention if a unit has a view or not. This particular unit has hardly any outside light, therefore, pretty dark.
