Big house with alot of space. Great location. But old carpet with stains. Heat didn’t work for two days. Outdated house. Other than that family had a great weekend shopping.

The house was great and good for a group of 11, 5 kids and 6 adults.
A grand time was had by all, a few bumps at the beginning, but Vacasa was qucik to handle and all things were addresed. The garage game room was a hit and being close the the shuttle stop was great with young kids.
Yes, we would recommend this home.
Thanks for the great time!

Upon arriving to the home, We the home a 5 stars inside and outside. But that changed quickly after entering all the bathrooms. The toilets in every bathroom looked as if they had never been cleaned. The toilets had rings around the bowl, the toilet seats had black stains around the lid and on the seat. I had to clean the bathrooms before my family could use them. This makes me question the cleaning fee cost I was charged. Maybe I should get some money back or a credit towards my next stay. The bathroom upstairs had a trash can with a huge hole in it so we couldn't put trash in it. I had to call several times about the TV (but that was my fault...LOL TV was on power save) The Wi-Fi could have been better. Maybe the cable company was experience problems the week we were there. The fridge had dead gnats in it as well as the water dispenser from the fridge. Despite, those anomalies the family loved the house, very spacious for the 8 of us. The neighborhood was beautiful, quiet and everyone was welcoming. We will return to the area in the future.

House had plenty of room for our extended family and young dog. House very neat and clean upon our arrival, and there was a service issue that was taken care of in a timely and professional manner. This was the 6th time renting at Bear Trap and this was far and away our best rental yet! Mel

We rented this property for 3 families (2 older folks) and 2 families with kids (ages 14,14,12 & 11). Loved there were 2 first floor bedrooms. Screened porch and game room were a delight. It was decorated nicely and the living room was comfortable for our large party. We loved that we could bring the dog. The community is very nice and quiet and offers great amenities but a little pricey. A few things to mention were there is only a dining table for 6 in the dining room and outside. Our large party could never eat together, the dryer made a loud noise and had to use several cycles to dry items, The trundle upstairs was so close to the dresser you couldn't walk around it so we had to put it up and down each night. Really wished there was another fridge available, it was very tight in the one. Both crisper bins in the fridge were cracked and make it hard to open and close. There were some other minor items that need to be addressed but the place was clean, comfortable and nice for our families vacation. The biggest issue was checking in at 4, the cleaning crew had just arrived at 4pm and we all had to wait over an hour for the unit to be cleaned. It was frustrating after everyone traveling a good distanced and having to sit in the car.

Good and Not as Good
Beautiful home in a great neighborhood. Lots of room and ideal for a large family and pet friendly. When paying as much as this home costs to lease I would expect better in some aspects. Mold in shower or master BR, outside garbage full, BR rugs need cleaned or replaced, small frig, knives there couldn't cut anything. Overall the home is welcoming but needs attention to detail if owner charging accordingly.

Absolutely beautiful/perfect home! Definitely needs a deep cleaning!!!! Major ant problem. I called a Sunday evening to report and received a call back Monday morning and situation was addressed which was impressive to us. Shuttle wasn’t so easy but convenient. Wonderful pool area! We definitely will try to book this next year!

Great location, some issues
This is a nice home in a great location 3 miles from the beach. There were issues inside the house- a dishwasher that didn't work, a dryer that took several cycles to fully dry clothes, a storm door with a broken handle, a grill without propane, a fridge that ran out of ice after 1 day, a broken shelf inside one of the cabinets, a toaster that took very long to toast. The homeowners should include instructions as to how to use the air conditioning as it was very cold in the house. Extra blankets in the house would have been helpful. The pool amenities cost 50 dollars a person (which we did not know until we called someone)
but included a shuttle bus to the beach(which we didn't use) and the use of the fitness center(which we also did not use). We enjoyed the pool. We were disappointed that one of the bedrooms had 2 twin beds squished together in a small space(it was not advertised this way). The neighborhood is quiet and perfect for families with dogs. Great neighborhood for bike riding as well. The porch on the main floor and off of the upstairs bedrooms were great. Beds were comfortable and it was very convenient that sheets and towels were given to us.

Dirty property, many dog stains, some maintenance issues.
We like the Bear Trap Dunes Resort. Nice pool and recreation facilities, good walking and biking.

I recommend you advertise the fees required for the amenities this came to a surprise to us.
Very nice and enjoyable stay, however recycling container was almost full and we had to use the recycling bin a short distance away.Shower doors upstairs appear to have been having problems for sometime as some hardware was missing (roller), this could be a very serious safety condition.

Overall house accommodated the 5 of us nicely and a very nice neighborhood. Close to everything we needed. House was left clean. The only issues we encountered were master bedroom tv did not work. We tried putting new batteries in remote but power did not come on at all. There was no garbage pick up Friday am and we put trash out as instructed Thursday evening. We ended up bringing trash to local trash bins ourselves. The outdoor grill was dirty so we did not use it. No instructions for using lights or TVs which would have been helpful.

Holiday winter get away
Decided to get away with friends during the winter, and this house was the perfect fit. There was plenty of room, as well as a nice gas fire place. The house is drafty and it was difficult trying to find a happy medium with the heat, but it wasn’t a deal breaker. The actual only issue anyone had is that the TV room has numerous windows that do not have blinds or curtains. So there’s no way for privacy from the neighbors, which are very close, and the street traffic. Overall it was a great stay

We were very happy with the house and location/spaciousness of it. What we were not happy about follows:
1. Not nearly as clean as it needed to be! Floors were dirty
and things were disheveled in closets and drawers versus
what we're used to having when renting homes in the past.
In the climate we're living in, this should be at the very top
of the list for VRBO. There were those instances, where we
had to clean parts of the house ( kitchen area, certain pots,
pans, cutlery and dishes that were put away dirty) before
we could occupy /use them. No dish towels.
2. Beginning stages of mold in the master bedroom bath
shower.
3. There were dried pet stains on the carpet in the master
bedroom when we arrived.
4. Dirty ceiling fans.
5. Filthy oven (had to clean ourselves)!!!
6. Empty gas grill propane tank. Had to get a refill at the
grocery and go to the office and get credited on my
account.
7. Pilot light of gas fireplace needed to be turned on.
8. Washer water level sensor broke on Friday and caused a
flood in the washroom. We needed to clean up the mess
because no one was available.
9. Bathroom sinks were clogged with hair and slow draining
10. If I were the owner, I would want to know that everything
was in peak condition/ working order.
11. Some of the shades on the deck were in disrepair.

While the property and the location were excellent and as described, the cleanliness and communication with manager (none with owners) was horrible. We had several issues that needed to be addressed and acknowledged but despite several attempts to reach out, I have yet to hear back from anyone at Vrbo. I will look at another managing facility for my next booking.

Good experience
The neighborhood and pool were wonderful. The house itself is very spacious and has a great layout. However, the items inside the house that one tends to rely on during a week long vacation were not great. For example, the toaster oven was super old and didn’t work, there were limited knives and none of them were sharp, the clothes baskets were damaged, etc. Overall, it wasn’t as fully supplied/stocked as other houses that I’ve stayed in, and what was supplied was very old.

I should note that I had to call management twice in reference to clogged toilets. I gave an overall rating of five because management promptly addressed the problem in addition to being curious. Thank you,
