Walking distance to the boardwalk, which starts 2 blocks away, volleyball, tennis, and basketball courts, the fun zone, pier, Lido marina, shopping, surfing, boogie boarding and restaurants.

After a day in paradise, the fun does not end. When the sun goes down, there is plenty to do! If you want a great meal, you are at the right place! Known for our seafood, you will have to try one of fabulous restaurants. From fine dining to a quick meal, you will find it here! Everything as advertised. All the previous reviews are spot on! Price was nice for the location - walk to the beach was so close. Very clean, and had all the amenities we needed. We had a great stay here! Our group had some very specific needs -- dog-friendly, parking for two midsize cars, 3 full bedrooms for 6 people -- and this met all of them, with the added benefit of everything we needed for a beach trip (chairs, umbrellas, towels, and bikes). It was worth the tradeoff of walking a block and a half to the beach to save a little bit of money on the pricey beachfront properties too. We had to do a little bit of cleaning in the refrigerator/freezer, and there was a leak in the dishwasher that unfortunately meant we had to hand wash dishes, but the host was apologetic, communicative and gave us options to help us work it out, so in the end, I considered it a minor inconvenience. The property is on a main road, so you do have to deal with some street noise, but we knew that when booking. Overall, it was as advertised, which is oftentimes a rarity! Staying here is a great way to spend a week.

Great property, great location and host. Took my family of 5 to this great beach house. The host had everything we needed to live life and enjoy our vacation. Home has dedicated parking which is huge in Newport, walking distance to the beach, the grocery store and restaurants. Home was super clean and inviting. Thanks for a great experience all around.

Awesome location! House is a 2-3 minute walk to the beach. We took our two dogs and there are a few different grassy areas across the street from the house which worked out great. Our car is long and we had a cargo carrier on the roof and we parked in the carport with no problem. We didn't try to park in the garage because it would have been challenging but I'd assume a small or mid size car would be okay. AC unit upstairs is great, and there are tons of fans that we had running on the main level which kept the house comfortable. From the master you can hear cars go by but it's not bad and we had no problems sleeping. Host was very friendly and responsive. Would stay again!

Enjoyed the property and all of the amenities. It was perfect for myself, 3 children and my older parents. Especially loved that we had 2 parking spaces as that can be quite tricky in that area. Would love to visit again!

We really enjoyed the location of this rental. The beach was just steps away, as well as the beach bike trail. The unit is stocked with everything you might need for a stay by the sand. Thanks for letting us bring the pets, it was nice to spend time with them while working remotely.

We enjoyed our Thanksgiving holiday at this lovely beach home. We loved the decor, the kitchen had all we needed ( may need a better potato peeler:) The beach is a hop, skip and a jump. I loved waking up to the sun and grabbing our pups and head to the beach with my cup of coffee. We walked everywhere! The owner is a sweetheart. Communication was excellent! The only thing to be aware of is the traffic noise on Balboa Blvd. I’m a light sleeper so it was a bit of a challenge for me until I found the air purifier in one of the guest rooms. Turned that thing on and drowned out the noise. We will return! Oh also we loved our neighbor!

I stayed with my husband and kids (2 adult children and their spouses). We ate out or carried in the whole time as it was easy to walk everywhere. Bikes and boogie boards were great. Front porch table was great for eating take out.

The beach house was exactly as described and we had a great stay. Super short walk to the beach and plenty of restaurants nearby. There is a nice park across the street if traveling with pets and looking for a place for them to go. Enjoyed sitting out in front with morning coffee and we used the BBQ once for dinner. We enjoyed our stay, nice size rooms for our family of 5 (3 small kids). Had everything we needed. Parking is a bit tight but doable (we have a Subaru Ascent). 3 min walk to beach. Front porch can be a bit loud as Balboa Blvd is busy, but not bad. The one drawback were the mosquito's! I didn't know CA had them but there were everywhere and in the house. Overall a nice place for a beach vacation.

This was our family’s second weeklong stay in Andrea’s home and it was an even better stay than the first time! A/C floor unit has been added to the master bedroom which made the stay even more enjoyable. Kids (4 and 3) loved having parks within walking distance. Beach is also a short walk away. Bikes provided in the garage were in better shape than the weeklong rentals we rented. Overall, we had another comfortable, memorable and above all, fun time at this beach house! Thank you again, Andrea! Until next year :)

This place is covered with ants! The kitchen, the master bath, all the floors, even the bed in the master! I have never been so freaked out. It's the perfect location, but not worth it.

Our stay was great. The home is two blocks from beach, a short bike ride to the pier, across the street from park with basketball courts and walking distance to market/Starbucks. Patio is facing a busy street and can get loud, however, the weekend was overcast with a cool onshore breeze and the layout of the patio protects from those winds. Overall, lots of memories made with family, highly recommended!

This is a great value and the house is beautifully maintained. The upstairs master is gorgeous. Kitchen was well stocked. The parking is inconvenient (two places but one is in a very small garage that is packed with bikes). It is a 2 min walk to the beach but a rather long bike ride or drive to the shops etc off the boardwalk. Lastly and importantly for us (but it didn’t phase our friends) the house faces a really busy street. So the front patio is 2 feet from one of the main through streets in the area. In short there is no outside space to really enjoy as it was Super noisy. Traffic was Loud inside too. But Andrea was lovely and the location close to beach was fantastic.

Easy stay in Newport. Very clean with slippers provided to avoid tracking sand within property. Downstairs living area is a little tight (for lounging) if you have a group of 5 or more. Upstairs master bedroom very comfortable.

My family and I enjoyed a memorable Thanksgiving at this property. The home is just two blocks from the beach. Our 17 year old surfed while his dad and I rode bikes (provided by the hosts) along the Strand. We rode the bikes everywhere. No need for a car! Thanksgiving dinner was easily prepared in the well-equipped kitchen, and we comfortably hosted 3 additional family members that day - 6 for a late afternoon dinner. We enjoyed this meal outdoors as the weather was perfect during our staying. The home is very clean and well appointed. Very comfortable. Andrea, the host, quickly responded to a question we had. We will be in touch for another stay in the future! Thank you!

Great location for getting to the beach- less than two blocks to the beach! The property had all that we needed for staying at the beach!
