Lots of fun for the family. Great beach location. Staff not responsive.

Great condo, location, and family environment. Has everything you need. Could use more parking spaces for guest. Great vacation.

This property was perfect for a family. Four beds for the kids. We didn’t use the pull out couch. I like that’s it’s very close to everything and they did have a closet with beach chairs and toys available for use. Plenty of cooking utensils and everything needed for meals at home. We didn’t have one single complaint about the property or condo at all and hope to come back next year for a longer stay!

Beautiful property close to everything. Plenty of room and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare and serve meals. Also a closet with beach chairs and troys im assuming from past renters that we added to as well. Haope to come back soon

This condo was perfect for our 3 day stay. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. We were on the top floor overlooking the pool and beach. The decor and furnishings were adorable. There was nothing lacking - right down to the closet full of beach accessories.
Communication from Vacasa was excellent and I did not need to contact them for anything
Highly recommended

The management was very responsive and helpful!
Place needs a little freshening: replace couches, new and more linens. The beds and shower and the view are all great.

We stayed with our adult children and their friends. When we arrived the property was very clean. There was plenty of room for the six of us--although the kitchen was a little crowded if there were too many "cooks." The kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans/coffee makers/etc. The balcony was perfect for spending an evening outside with family. The entire resort was very family oriented. The pool had ample lounges, and while we were there during the day a food truck or Kona Ice was onsite. The beach is easily accessible (look for tortoise in the dunes). Overall, a relaxing time with family.

My family had a great stay. The listing was very accurate but the pictures did not do it justice. The view of the pool and ocean are stunning. The overall complex is very clean and the pool deck as power washed daily. The condo is well stocked with everything you need to make meals and the washer and dryer were a plus. The lockbox was a bit hard to get into and the condo needed a bit of updating but overall there was a lot of room and very comfortable. The complex can get a bit noisy outside and the pool can get busy during the weekends. It was much quieter during the week. There is much to do in this area, all just down the road. Plenty of food places, the alligator farm and lighthouse are just down the road as well. Overall we had a great stay. This was a great find in St. Augustine

Check-in was inconvenient because we had to get parking passes, but arrived on Sunday, and the office there is closed Sunday's - meanwhile we had to either park outside the property or ignore all the menancing and scary signs about what would happen to us if we parked without a parking pass. A heads up that the check-in instructions wouldn't be able to be executed would have been nice so you wouldn't have to sink an hour into figuring out what to do at arrival. However, the real problem was that many things didn't work in the unit: some TV remotes, toaster, sliding door, and ice-maker didn't work which were all ok to navigate, but non-functional dryer was a significant issue for us, since the 8 of us packed light anticipating that we could run many loads of laundry while we were there. Vacasa (owner of the property) totes 24/7 service, but all that means is that a friendly person from some far away location will recieve your request for service, but that ultimately no service will come and no attempt will actually be made to help you. We never had anyone come to help the entire week we were there and each day requests were made for help, so that we could stop spending a bunch of time and money at the laudromat when we wanted to be on the beach. This is one of the worst customer services experiences I've ever had, and a claim at 24/7 service is a laughable misrepresentation of service. Vacasa is simply awful.

This property is at a beautiful location and is managed by Vacasa. Or problems were not with the owner, Jeff was very responsive. Vacasa was not. We will never book through Vacasa again. First, Vacasa never notified us that the outdoor pool would be unavailable most of our stay. The management on site said the Vacasa had weekly notifications of this. Second, Vacasa falsely advertised the 2nd bedroom as having a queen size bed. It didn’t it had a double bed with a terrible mattress. We would not have even booked this condo if we had known either of these issues. We called the Vacasa number provided at the condo to get fixable issues solved and got no responses: the ice maker didn’t work, not enough towels, wall switch for ceiling fan doesn’t work in the master bedroom, remote for TV in master bedroom was missing. Jeff the owner was responsive in ordering us bath towels for our guests.

This is our third time staying at Colony Reef Club. We love the complex. Our young grandkids (13,7 and 6) stayed one week and loved the indoor heated pool.
The beach was so close and beautiful!
The condo was clean but is stuck in the 1980s. I would absolutely rent the condo again.

Loved the view!! Very nice location!!

Ice maker didn’t work/toilet seat broke (we called and they replaced), only 1 small electric grill and was missing the drip pan, the floors were dirty and the dishwasher started if you shut the door so it ran sometimes for no reason - was weird. The main bed is a rock. The elevator was broke the first day and they gave us parking passes but didn’t tell us good for only one region of the lot - first day had to write note and put in car because office closed but then got next day but parked in wrong lot and so received a warning. The house is beautiful and the view is awesome! St Augustine is beautiful! Would visit again but not this hotel as catered to families with small children and the pool closed at dark..

This is as advertised. It is a great location with a spectacular view of the ocean.

Property was clean and stocked with many essentials. If I could give location and the view of this property more than 5* I would! I've bookmarked it for any time we go back. Direct and uninhibited views of the ocean can be seen once you enter the condo and throughout all common areas, PLUS master bed/bath! Excellent stay!

Everything was perfect from the ocean view to the condo itself. My only complaint was the elevator that kept breaking down.

The condo was clean and consistent with the advertised listing. We were a little apprehensive with the amount of people staying in the complex but pleasantly surprised with how family oriented and well run it was.

The view is great…direct view of ocean and pool. Easy to get to beach and pool. Clean floors and rooms. All necessities and some extras provided!

In the knick of time we had access via email - just before we arrived
The unit - 3405, was as the pictures and description represented it. Being a smoker, I expect not to be able to smoke inside the unit but didn't appreciate the surprise that smoking is not allowed anyplace on this property, other than on the boardwalk to the beach. There were many places that they could have smoking areas to not intrude on anyone else, but they choose not to allow. Otherwise the place was clean and well supplied with cooking and eating utensils.

Colony Reef Condo
Great location, beach access, close to supermarkets and 10 minutes away from downtown. The furniture is a little dated and the mattress in the second bedroom needs to be replaced, but overall a good experience.

Colony Reef
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Everything was exactly as pictured. We ended up arriving after the office had closed for the day. Our parking passes were not in the unit, but a quick call to the housekeeper assured me that we’d be ok until the office opened the following day. This condo facility is super kid friendly and absolutely beautiful. My teens enjoyed the basketball court and the pools. The keyless entry lets your family members come and go without worries of losing keys. If you are going into St. Augustine, this is the perfect distance to escape the traffic, but still see the sights. We would book this property again. Thank you for a wonderful Christmas vacation.

Colony Reef Stay
Overall stay was good. Condo was clean and the pictures we saw before hand when booking this stay are a true representation of this rental. As a result of the weather we had to stay indoors more and perhaps this made us take note of a few items that needed attention. This included the ceiling air vents that were noticeably dirty and the rusty shower curtain rings. Additionally, the plumbing in the bathroom off the hallway needs to be looked at. The patio doors are rather hard to open and close. However, these are small things compared to the overall experience which was good.

RUN, DON’T WALK, AWAY FROM THIS RENTAL PROPERTY!!!
This unit was not cleaned according to standards set for Covid, it was advertised as oceanfront and it was ocean view, we were not notified that we would have no beach access for the week, we were given an incorrect gate code, promises were made and not kept and the Vacasa team for St Augustine did not respond to phone calls, voice mails, or texts. It was a disaster!! If you want to rent at Colony Reef Club, go through their office. You will get honest, up-to-date information and you will have someone who will respond to any problems. I’m sorry I ever used Vacasa for this rental property.

Excellent luxury property, spectacular view
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was beautiful and the property had useful conveniences (baggage carts). The view and pool were amazing! The management company, Vacasa, although easy to reach, was a bit inflexible- not sure I would rent from Vacasa again, but the property itself was amazing.

Everything was great, the room, cleanliness, best vacation we’ve went on! There was enough room for 3 kids and 5 adults comfortably.

Great place on the beach!
This condo was perfect for our quick family trip. Plenty of space and beds for all the kids (4), and a super easy and quick walk down to the beach! The condo was clean and the area felt safe.
Overall a good experience here.

Family Snowbirds
We visited to escape the cold north and the location and view from the condo was just what we were looking for: beach view with morning sunrises, pool view lit at night and a short walk to the beach. The condo’s location to historic district and other area attractions was perfect...away from the busyness yet only about a 10 minute drive from fun. The condo itself shows a lot of wear apart from new beautiful flooring in main living section: cabinets with years of staining around the pulls, chipped paint on bathroom cabinets/walls, master bed has a headboard that isn’t actually attached to the bed, cardboard as a layer of stability for upper bunk bed. Cleanliness was hard to determine, whether the condo was just in need of updating or better cleaning (although some dinnerware was dirty, as was one of the toilets even though it had a paper sanitized band on it). The location of the condo was quiet and nicely located between the elevator a few doors down, the indoor pool/tennis courts directly across the parking lot, etc. Overall, we had a really nice stay. Only other thing would be some “starter spices.” We cooked all except two meals so salt, pepper and a few more basics would have been nice for those with short stays such as ours.
