Beautiful stay and helpful staff, just difficult to initially access.

Beautiful place, very clean and modern. Had cooking and washing facilities available. Staff were very helpful when I asked questions. Would definitely stay here again.

Found it very difficult to initially access/ locate room when arriving because you have to use an app to unlock each door and I wasn’t sure if I was in the right spot most the time. I had to Google translate the app to know what I was doing. Once you get in, you get an access card which then makes it so much easier.

Modern spacious apartment in Gavirate.

I really appreciate the cleanliness of the apartment. It was spotless. The bed was firm, the pillows and towers were comfortable and laundry fresh. Apartment size was spacious, airy and bright. Love the simple decoration and colors of the apartment. Bathroom is bright and dries quickly because of the natural ventilation from the window. The kitchen is spotless and very clean. The parking lot is great - it is private and we felt safe. We appreciate the app that manages the keys to the apartment and gates. Location is great - walking distance to a supermarket, a few restaurants and the lake nearby. The hostess was kind enough to prepare a few recommendations of the local attractions nearby, which we took and it turned out to be great!

The apartment (Pinta D'ora) is on the ground floor, with the main windows facing the street. It gets noisy with traffic sounds. Every so often you'd hear a loud droning sound from a giant compressor of some sort right next to the window, even during sleeping hours. The bathroom shower stall is incredibly tiny, with no ledge to place soap bottles. The only place you can place your bottles are on the floor. The parking lot to the main door is quite a distance. You'd need to take a few steps uphill - so if you have heavy bags it is quite a challenge. We managed the issue by leaving the bags at the front side gate before driving the car in - but if it rains it is extremely challenging. Happened to us when we left for the airport on the last day. You and your bags will be wet when you load up the bags into the car. There is not enough recycling bins in the apartment. There is only one bin under the kitchen sink which we assumed is for general waste?? All the others (paper, glass, plastic) has to be taken to the common recycling area which is in the carpark area which again - it is a long way from the apartment. It is fine on sunny days but if you have to close up the apartment and it is raining at that point in time, it is incredibly stressful.

Impressive modern apartment in a beautifully restored historic building

An immaculate property! Beautifully and tastefully restored historical building. The apartment has every modern convenience. A home away from home. We will be returning for another visit. The owner was always available to answer any questions.

The doors were all controlled by electronic entry so we were confused at first! Eventually, it was very easy to use.

Handy for Givrate and the local Countryside

Warm, very clean, quiet and comfortable

Nice and modern apartment

The apartment was very clean and equipped with almost everything you would need. We really liked the fast wifi and that you have to download an app to access the room or open the gate. For people like us loving modern solutions it’s perfect. There is a private parking lot and the property is not far from the lake. We also liked the complimentary water bottles in the fridge and some sweets.

We had two hand towels but were a bit surprised when we found just one showering towel that we were supposed to share. After a little chat with the host which firstly tried to convince me, that this is normal, we got promptly another one. I hope that this was just a misunderstanding. I would recommend to find a solution, how to display the buttons in the app in english. If you don’t speak Italian, you have to google every time for the translation to find which door you are opening. We forgot to take out the trash, which we apologize for, but there could be definitely more bins under the sink, for example for plastics and paper, than just one little.

Very good

The apartment is completely newly renovated. It is very cozy, AC in kitchen/living room and in the bedroom. There were too very nice balcony with a nice view. The old building very charming, and has a nice atmosphere. The kitchen had most essentials for cooking.

The bed was not very comfy, when coming from Scandinavia. Too hard, no support. No kitchen knifes in the kitchen. If you do not have internet on your smart phone, it is hard to access the property using the app.
