About this house rental
Family and friends will have a wonderful getaway to the woods at Discovery Chalet 374. This Tamarack Resort "Sawtooth" vacation home is built with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms making it suitable for 8 guests. The house is located in a prime setting with views of Lake Cascade and the Osprey Meadows Golf Course. You will love the easy access to the hiking, biking, and cross-country trail right outside the front door. Generous covered deck space including a wood burning fireplace and hot tub under the stars lend to enjoying this beautiful setting. Guests will also have access to an oversized 2-car garage with wall heater, and a large driveway to ensure space for their vehicles and even a trailer. Take the mixed use path from the house to the Poma that takes you to the main chair lift.
Entering Discovery Chalet 374, you are greeted by a bright open floor plan with high ceilings. This "Great Room" consists of a living room, kitchen, and dining area. There are exits on two sides to the expansive, covered wrap around porch and private hot tub. The living room is arranged with plush furnishings placed in front of a wood burning stone fireplace and flat screen TV. The couch additionally functions as a sofa sleeper. The fireplace is ideal for lighting and creating a cozy atmosphere while curling up on the couch. A full guest bathroom is around the corner for all guests to share.
Across the open floor plan is a gourmet kitchen. This fully equipped kitchen has updated stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, a breakfast bar, and even a built-in wine rack. A chef will enjoy cooking tasty treats and scrumptious meals. Three guests are encouraged to keep the chef company by taking a seat at the breakfast bar. Alongside this dining space, the formal dining table is steps away with seating for six. If you prefer to dine alfresco in the crisp mountain air, step outside onto the expansive wrap around balcony. A BBQ and patio table are available next to an outdoor fireplace. Dine, drink, and unwind out here year-round. If any of your guests have gone missing, they are likely soaking in the private hot tub. The hot tub is also the best place to stargaze from at night. A washer and dryer are assembled back inside - handy for any wet swimsuits.
When you are ready to retire for the night, there are three bedrooms to choose from. The master bedroom is furnished with a luxurious King-size bed, TV, small sitting area, gas fireplace, walk in closet and an attached bathroom for privacy. The master bathroom calls for a tranquil morning with a soaker bathtub, walk in shower, and dual sinks. The first guest bedroom holds a Queen-size bed, TV, and similarly has an attached bathroom. The second guest bedroom is suitable for accommodating any children as there are two Twin-size beds and immediately adjacent full hall bathroom.
There are 2 garage parking spaces and a long driveway. The driveway can fit a trailer or a 3rd/4th vehicle. Parking 4 vehicles may be a little packed but can work.

Riding ATVs on Tamarack Resort is not allowed by guests. If you are bringing "toys" (ATVs, scooters, boats, etc.) you will need to leave them in the Aspen Parking lot at the entrance to the resort and ride them off the resort from there. There are registration forms on the sign at the entrance to Aspen. Please make sure you look at the sign to determine where you should park. The parking lot is monitored by Security both in their vehicles and by cameras.
This home has a two night minimum stay, but some date ranges require a longer stay depending upon the season and holiday.
Make yourself at home, but please be respectful of locked cupboards and doors that indicate a private space.
Guests have access to the garage and owner firewood therein.
Guest access codes and check in information will be sent to guests one week prior to arrival.
Check in is any time after 4PM. Check out is at 10AM.
The guest renting this home must be an adult 25 years or older and will be an occupant of the unit during the entire reservation period.

friends reunion
we had an incredible time! we got together with friends that we do annually and spent most days on either lake cascade or up in mccall! evenings we spent after dining out playing games on the deck, using outdoor fireplace (thank you for the wood supply) or in the jacuzzi! we really appreciated the abundance of towels for the property especially for lake days! we also had all supplies we needed for meals at home and space for 6 couples all with their own bathrooms! A couple small suggestions, having games on hand, even some local magazines would be nice. also, outside of owners control but it was 95+ the week we were there with no AC (which we knew when booking) was rough two of the nights. there was one portable fan that we definitely used but having one for each bedroom would be very very helpful.
