The cottage was very clean and tidy and the accommodation was spacious. It is in a very quiet and peaceful location, we really enjoyed that aspect of the stay. Lovely countryside and very close to the south coast resorts made for a great break.

Gorgeous cottage in a quiet area. Beautiful fields all around. Staying in there was very relaxing. It was also not too far away from the beach or Paultons Park.
The house was very clean and modern inside. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. Communication was great. Neighbours were friendly.
We had a great stay and would highly recommend renting this beautiful cottage.

The cottage is extremely comfortable and cosy, and very well equipped with some thoughtful touches The setting is beautiful and the views are quite spectacular. It was bigger than we expected. The bedrooms are all a good size, and the beds are really comfortable, with good quality bedding. We had a really lovely weekend and were very sad to leave. Our two small dogs loved the walks right on the doorstep

This cottage is even prettier and larger than it looked online. The front and back gardens offered shade or sun depending on time of day. The view from the rear decking was gorgeous- we watched lots of hares chasing each other at high speed. The ground floor bedroom and en suite was totally suitable for our 94 year old Gran. There are no steps or stairs except one small one from the parking area which is just in front of the house and two average steps onto the decking. Everything was comfy and clean. It was so quiet and peaceful and well suited for trips to the beaches and neighbouring towns. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful country stay - home away from home
We loved staying at Old Down Cottage. It is a beautiful spot in the middle of farmlands. We enjoyed the warm cosy lounge and walks in the wood right from our doorstep. Thank you for the midway clean, that was a great added bonus. There were lovely personal touches which were lovely too!
We would like to recommend someone take a look at fixing the nozzle on the oven, as that was broken, but we managed to get by fine. The boiler was also fixed midway, as it was releasing huge amounts right near the door. But, as soon as we mentioned it you jumped on it as soon as possible, so thank you!
