Coast and Country Luxury Estate is a stunning holiday home located only minutes from the popular One Mile Surf Beach in beautiful Port Stephens. The large heated lap pool, multiple entertaining areas and expansive manicured grounds, together with a cinema room, make this the ideal place for guests to play and relax in their own resort-like abode.
A sleek and stylist separate games room is found is the gardens complete with pool table, kitchenette and bathroom.
The stunning 15m heated lap pool enjoys beautiful views of the surrounding garden and trees where privacy is maintained at all times. Exercise or relax and in the water with swims in the pool or take a short walk to the highly sought after One Mile Surf Beach. You can stroll to the nearby Koala Sanctuary. The huge lawn is ideal for family games of sport and for kids to run and play, after which everyone can cool off in the inviting heated lap pool with relaxing jets surrounding the seating area. The large kitchen is fully equipped and is open plan to the family and dining room, all of which flow out to the undercover alfresco entertaining area, complete with dining table, built-in BBQ and kitchenette, which overlooks the massive rolling lawn and sparkling pool.

We booked the Country Estate for a weekend away with our family to celebrate our Mums 70th Birthday! We had a great time and didn't need to leave the property if we didn't want to.....there was plenty of space for us all with lots to do! The cinema room, pool and games room were a hit.The property does need some maintenance including the paving around the pool which has sunken and become a trip hazard. The bathroom in the games room had not been cleaned, nor the BBQ.Other than that, the house was great!

The house has plenty of room and great pool but there are quite a few items needing attention which I note have been raised in past reviews so I wonder if the owner cares much about maintaining the property. The air conditioner in the main bedroom makes a whistling noise, the rack in the dishwasher is faulty, the big screen tv is an old projector type difficult to operate, the characters are worn off the oven dial so difficult to operate, pool lounges unusable as the mesh is sun damaged and torn. I hope they repair and update the property as it could have been so much better with a bit of TLC

The vacation home was nice and comfy and as per the pictures.
However the overall experience was unsatisfactory due to a very unpleasant guest experience.
1.NO ADDITONAL TOILET ROLLS IN THE HOUSE WERE PROVIDED.It was so unusual and unexpected that not a single spare roll.
2.NO SHOWER GEL HANDWASH IN ANY OF THE TOILETS.
I have never experienced any such thing in other similar services, with this basic stuff missing.It was so unpleasant to have to go out and buy basic toiletries particularly after paying so much for the place.
3.NO ADDITONAL TOWELS.We were using the pool and being avery hot summer we were taking showers twice and there were just one single towel for all for the entire stay.Never before we have found such stingy basics.Very disappointing.No several pool towels.
4.NOONE PICKED THE CALLS OR RESPONDED TO TEXTS.
Since Saturday morning multiple attempts via calls or text to reach property manager none was responded.
5.POOL LIGHTS WERE NOT INFORMED GIW TO TURN ON.Due to the heat we wanted to go in the pool in the evening but could not figure out how to turn other lights.
No information was available, or reaching out to the team helped as no one was picking up.Very dissatisfied

Our stay at the coast and country escape was a memorable one! We can't wait to go back to the property and enjoy the amenities they provided. On a side note, there were a few mud wasps nest at the back door entry and around the property so they had a alot of wasps flying around. As well as some workers coming to the property without warning. But apart from that it was a beautiful house with a beautiful pool! Thanks for having us!

This house was massive, and didn't at all feel crowded for our group of 8 adults. There was ample space for everyone, and the house had a range of activities that meant we barely wanted to leave. Positives:- The pool was a great size- The theatre room was excellent- Yard was huge and great for games- Kitchen was a great size, - the outside bungalow and bathroom was A+- locations was really quiet, being close to the beach and a short trip to local shops at Anna Bay. Negatives:- No outdoor lights on the lawn or in the pool meant as soon as it was dark, you had to move inside. - Once inside, there was no lounge area big enough to suit the capacity of the house, causing everyone to be uncomfortable or not be together. - The main shower dribbled and didn't spray, meaning everyone had to shower in the bungalow- The master bedroom had a horrible almost rotting smell that stayed noticeable for 4 days of the trip- The pool table and foosball table in the bungalow were unlevel, making the pool table hard to play, and the foosball table impossible. - The master ensuite doors don't close properly, if you have the fan on it sucks the doors open.None of these negatives were complete deal breakers, but for the price you pay you shouldn't have to deal with these issues. I'd go to the area again, and book through the company (they were very professional and shipped an item back to us that we had left), but I'm not sure I would stay at this property again until these issues are fixed.

Gas stoves are not lighting properly, the big stove main one in the middle is not working
Poor communications when booking the room, paid $100 for extra bed for a kid, there was no bed, just the normal sofa bed in the back room were a 12 year old kid is not expected to sleep at the back away from everyone at a new house. Requested a refund of $100 as nothing extra was done as a member had to sleep on sofa. Request was denied.

We loved the house, stayed there for my mother in laws 60th Birthday weekend, only left the house once to go to the beach.

Overall we are happy with the property.
* Pool and yard are well maintained
* big front and back yard with plenty of space for kids to run around.
*The Vacuum cleaner broke down, so during our stay, we had to make use of the broom, the bedroom was dusty, but this could be due to the vacuum breaking down, and the cleaner couldn't do their job properly.
Things to improve on.
* The entertainment room is very stuffy, and it doesn't help when there is no control for the electric roller shutter to let air fresh into the room.
* the air-con is extremely loud when operate.
* we helped to clean the garbage bin, we need to use the bin and found that the bin kind of smell so we hosed down the bin and air dry it as we need to use it, somehow this annoy the cleaner.

I would thoroughly recommend.
I have some feedback that hope is useful. The outdoor BBQ was dissappointing and tiny to try and feed 11 people. a large flat plate bbq would be ideal. The TV controls were really tough to navigate and turn down the volume. A detailed set of instructions would help. The whole process was slow.
A few things missing like a pizza cutter, more tongs, large chopping boards and large serving plates would be good.

Overall, nice property, size and location is what attracted us because there was 14 of us. Just a few things: the lounge in the TV room near the kitchen was very very dirty! Unable to use the BBQ because there was no hot plate just wired trays same for the Webber! we played over $500+ for a cleaning fee but where expected to clean everything including dry and put away dishes which is fine but not when we already paying so much for cleaning I understand it is a condition we agreed on before attending but I dnt think the price breakdown for this is reasonable. Also suggest some placemats to be bought as there was none available. The outdoor pool umbrella was broken so couldn't use that either. However overall place is big, pool is lovely and the man that came to greet us (show us how to use theatre room) was super super lovely sorry forgot his name!

The house was fantastic, the cinema and pool was much appreciated by all in the group.
The size of the back yard was fantastic and well utilised by the children.
The environment was very relaxing with the call of the birds early in the morning. It was just a short drive to the shops which was handy.
As a suggestion more cutlery be added as there was only cutlery for 10 people.
Also an outside heater to fully utilise the amazing outdoor area. In our circumstances it would have been preferable to have more single beds.
They were only minor issues that didn't detract from the weekend.

10 melaleuca drive one mile
House was nice but there were a few details that were not up to standard or not well maintained. The kids loved the cinema room and pool. However the tv aerial was broken which meant we could not get free to air tv. Lucky we could use our own Netflix account. The gas fire heater was broken which had been a selling point for us choosing the house. There were a few other poorly maintained things like the fan in the ensuite bathroom not working, toilet seat broken and there the washing powder box provided was empty. Overall we enjoyed our stay in such a beautiful location. Great house for families.

Property was beautiful and had a great week away for my mums 50th. Few things that disappointed me was the lack of communication by the host. Main television remote was missing and tried to get into contact with the host and no reply. Few of the rooms had a vomit smell. This was the first time my family and I rented a property and our experience did not turn out to be what we expected at all. From the first go of trying to book this holiday house the property manager/ host was extremely rude and not helpful at all. It came as a shock as you are trying to book there property and enjoy a holiday although they make it very difficult. When we got to the house it is completely different to how it is shown in the photos - property is old and extremely dirty. We wanted to try the cinema although did not know how to use it and were to scared to call property managers/ host and we were afraid they would accuse us of breaking something and would not want to help. On check out the property manager/ host again was extremely rude on the phone. For a first timer doing a holiday house they made it an unforgettable one and not in a good way.

Lawn not mowed, septic tank smelly, ants in main bathroom, BBQ dirty, a lot of lights bulbs missing or blown, floor dirty (black feet after an hour of walking around) no coffee pods, tea or toilet paper supplies (min expectation for house at that price point) no instructions for home theatre or convection oven. Have stayed at other holiday homes in the area at this price point and never experienced anything like this lack of finish.
