The wonderful large apartment beautifully decorated and very comfy bed. The tasty breakfasts and lovely friendly and helpful hosts. The great location surrounded by countryside and near to the coast.

This was our second visit and it did not disappoint, such a lovey welcome and perfect accommodation for a family of four. Our girls loved the horses too and it’s very near to Horsey so you can see the seals (from a distance on the dunes - no need to get any nearer). The only thing which could be improved is the installation of an electric car charger, although we could do a slow charge overnight so it wasn’t really a problem.

A great place to relax in our room in the evening

A two night stay to celebrate a 50th birthday . Really impressed with the accommodation - the pictures were definitely a true reflection of the accommodation we stayed in ( Barn Owl Retreat ) . Excellent size for a 4 person family stay and very comfortable.
Staff exceptionally friendly and informative.

A wonderful 2 night stay in one of the 'special rooms' and it was worth upgrading. The bath big enough for two was the perfect relaxing element after a long drive. The location was perfect for getting around and so close to the seals! Communication over email in advance of our arrival had us fully prepared for our weekend! The waffles at breakfast served in our room....delicious!!! Can't fault anything and would love to stay again

Enjoyable stay. Very clean room .excellent breakfast friendly staff..breakfasts time from 8am till 0915 is not long enough should be extended at least till 10am .as when you have been out late the night before you don't wont The worry of getting up early the next morning and rushing about so you don't miss breakfast...found 2 seater uncomfortable .also could do with some draws / wardrobe upstairs for clothes. Could do with a full length mirror down stairs .after showering/ getting dressed ..ec

Hannah and her team have made a a magical transformation of some farm buildings into bespoke luxury holiday getaways, great location, amazing beaches at sea palling and horsey, great connections to all major attractions. Big shout out to Hannah's mum for giving us the inside tips for all the local attractions and must eat places

Hannah (owner) asked me why I like the extra special rooms I must say it's everything about the rooms. Having a little lounge area, luxurious bathroom and bedroom with use of a private garden is just perfect. So much choice for breakfast always delicious with a choice of having it in the room is an extra touch of luxury for me. Everyone so friendly and helpful. This has become a regularly place to stay and I'm definitely booking the Barn Owl Retreat room again.

Ideal location for coastal visits and inland waterways.

I made a last minute booking and confirmed with Hannah via email - she was very prompt to respond and when I called for dinner recommendations she was happy to help (The Greyhound up the road is lovely).
Hannah greeted us on arrival and showed us our room which looks even better than the photos. We stayed in one of the extra special rooms - large but decorated cosily. We had breakfast brought to our room- it was cooked fresh and tasted amazing. I would highly recommend Dairy Barns to everyone!

The farm was easy to find & well placed for exploring the local area. Host was welcoming and friendly. Our accommodation, Barn Owls Retreat was spacious, spotlessly clean, beautiful, with lovely little touches. The friendly welcome from Hannah. The beautiful Barn Owls Retreat was perfect for us and our teenage daughter, so clean, comfortable and spacious. A perfect place to escape to when we need a coast visit, perfect for visiting the seals at Horsey. The homemade cake on arrival is a really thoughtful treat to have with a cup of tea. The breakfast was delicious and set us up for a walk along the beach. Thank you so much. We will return another time.

This was our 5th stay at Dairy Barns and our 3rd time in Barn Owls Retreat. Hannah and her team were as friendly as usual. We had our first breakfast in the breakfast barn rather than in our room, which was almost as lovely as eating alone. As usual wonderful breakfast with the best scrambled egg and fresh fruit salad. The weather was not in our favour again but we had a great relaxing time. We managed to make a beach walk at Sea Palling and a lunch treat at Waxham Barns.

We spent the night in the Barn Owl Room. It was perfect for a family as there was lots of space.

We stayed for 2 nights to take the little one to BeWILDerwood Park, ideally situated about 10-15 minutes away. The staff could not have done more to make us feel welcome and all of the facilities were first class. Breakfast was superb, with a lot on offer and set us up perfectly for the day ahead.
A huge king size bed left us feeling refreshed in the morning and bathroom with a deep bath and separate shower suited everyone. We are already thinking of an excuse to go back. Perfect!
