I was pleasantly surprised by how cozy and efficient this small cabin was. They really made great use of the space and it had everything we needed. It was beautifully furnished and the bathroom and kitchen looked brand new. It was so very clean too. The squirrel motif was so fun and well done. One minor issue was the window in the bedroom which had curtains but no shade to shut out the neighbors flood light across the street when we went to bed. Other than that, my husband and I truly loved this cabin and Rosie's Comfy Cafe which was two minutes down the street for breakfast. It was also close to the rivers we kayaked during our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

This cozy home was immaculately clean and lacked nothing. It is located close to Crystal Mountain. The bed was super comfortable, and the shower was great. We will definitely book there again if in the area!

The house was located in a quiet area. It was centrally located for the activities we had planned. The house was clean and relaxing. I would recommend staying there.

It was a fantastic little place. We wish to have stayed longer if sircumstances allowed.

This was our second stay at the cottage. It is so handy to the area, Crytal Mountain, Crystal Lake, touring the Leelanau Peninsula and Traverse City are just minutes away. The cottage is always clean and comes with everything you need for a truly comfortable stay. As we travel back and forth from Florida many times a year, I can tell you the cottage is so much better than other places we have stayed. You should come, stay here and have a great time. Especially, those who enjoy skiing. We'll be back next year!!

We had a great time in Northern MI and this cabin was great, very clean, very well maintained. We enjoyed the decor....it make the stay more memorable. Only suggested is - a love seat, so we both relax and watch TV.

Had terrible experience with this house being infested with bed bugs. I got over 35 bites from my neck to my ankles. I asked the owner to allow me to check out early because myself and my 8 yr old daughter could not tolerate the bites any longer. Not only did the owners not refund me the one day but Deborah insinuated that we brought the bed bugs or that they weren’t bed bugs at all. I’m a medical provider and we saw the bed bug crawling on me and was quite easy to identify. The situation was not handled appropriately or with any consideration for the stress and physical discomfort of dealing with bites and anxiety of bringing their bed bugs home with me. I still checked out a day early and cleaned up before we left to not be bad guests but I can say these owners are going to not do the right thing or try and blame you if end up complaining about getting bug bites. I booked the place for 8 days and it was WAY too small for our needs. Not enough storage for anyone staying more than a day or two or if you plan on cooking. Cook stove also did not work when we first got in. There’s washer and dryer on site that she keeps locked in a room even though it listed in the VRBO so don’t plan on using it like I had hoped for an extended trip.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! I cannot say enough about how fantastic our experience was at the cabin. First, it was INCREDIBLY clean! Like, clean clean clean. You could tell how much love and care the owners put INTO the cabin and how much they truly want their guest to have a wonderful time. When you first pull up to the cabin, you'll notice its shaker style siding with lovely planter boxes and gravel pathways to a “mud room” style entrance. This mud room would be perfect for those that want to enjoy winter activities without tracking equipment in the actual living spaces of the cabin. Once you're inside, you'll be greeted with stunning wood floors and wood touches here and there. The amenities were well-thought-out. They even provide holders for soup bowls. There's a conduction style cook top, small coffee pot and a microwave. The bathroom has a lovely shower that has great water pressure and provides a lot of hot water as well. The bed in the bedroom was SO comfortable and the sheets and bedspread were so clean and smelled freshly washed. There's a small TV in the bedroom and a window unit if you need AC. There's also a TV in the living room with a love seat style sofa that turns into a bed if needed. There's not a table inside the cabin (there is a small one in the mud room area) but they do have multiple folding tables for use. There's an electric fireplace in the living room, and the Wi-Fi was fast and sufficient.

Cabin was very clean and nice. We rented this to attend a wedding at Crystal Mountain which was only a 5 minute drive away. I would recommend this property.

The cabin and the grounds behind it made it very nice even the golf set up was beautiful very private the only thing I didn’t care too much for was the abandon trailer and the garage across the street but we spent most of our time in the backyard overall it was very nice and private for us to close to Lake Michigan and Beulah

Perfect location, and size for a couple, although there is a pull out couch that can be utilized. Gas grill was a great addition. Every detail was well thought out. Wifi and tv reception was strong. Our hosts were attentive and hospitality minded. If we get to travel to this area in Michigan again, we will definitely stay here!

Very cute, very clean cabin that was just the right size! Exactly how you see it in the pictures and perfect for what I needed. You might be wondering why everything was 5 stars but overall was 4 stars. I had difficulty figuring out the hot water in the shower, I could only get it to luke warm. Other than that it was a great cabin and made my weekend event at Crystal Mountain perfect. Definitely would refer it to others.

The cabin looked like it was maybe a vintage cabin with all the needed updates. The floor was original and beautiful but the bath and kitchen looked brand new. The porch was very convenient for storing our bikes. The yard was nice but we didn't have a chance to enjoy it since we were busy all weekend. The cabin is definitely small but very comfortable with everything that we needed! Oh, and the electric fireplace took the chill off in the mornings. Very nice!

This was exactly as advertised. Small and comfortable. Perfect for my wife and I celebrating an anniversary away from the kids :) Close to Frankfort, it was easy to get to restaurants and beaches.

Everything was so nice and clean! The check in process was very very easy and the cabin itself was gorgeous! Would definitely recommend it to a couple looking for a weekend getaway!
