We were there to move my granddaughter out of her dorm room, we would probably stay there again!

We thought the breakfast items were exceptional, the variety was great! The staff was very friendly! If we had time at night we would of gone for the smores kit they offered! The room was nice & quiet!

The fan seemed to work but it was so loud, we couldn't turn it off fast enough! We were looking for a ice bucket in the room, but then we didn't even see a ice machine, & forgot to ask if there was one 🤔

The bathroom wasn't clean and the bed although new was so squeaky we couldn't sleep.

WONDERFUL

Great hotel, and great location! Breakfast was perfect and the fire pits were great to sit around at the end of the day after hiking, or hanging at U of O! GREAT HOTEL!

overrated

I had requested a ground floor room instead got one on the 3rd floor. was told there was a cart by elevator that would help move things to my room. was NOT told the front entrance had steps and therefore was unusable. staff was dismissive and not at all helpful. breakfast was fine. no place too hang towels in room.

It was good, considering the unwanted door knocker.

It was a convenient location and the room was clean. It was relatively quiet.

We checked in around 9 pm and noticed a woman peeking in any rooms with the curtains opened or cracked and knocking on each door. We got to our room and she knocked on her door. We did not open the door and my husband asked to to away & she did. I called the front desk to report her. The clerk did walk around to check it out and she was already gone.

Great place and would happily return

Location was perfect for me. Breakfast and coffee were exceptional. I loved the outdoor seating area and general decor of the motel. Bed was very comfortable.

We really enjoyed staying at the Maverick. Karen at the front desk is wonderful. she helped me with future reservations.

The staff, in particular Karen is very personable, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast was also great with many healthy options. I also like the decor.

A great location with great staff

Loved the hostess, and the place was very welcoming. Enjoyed the breakfast and the fact that the coffee was as good as Starbucks-which was right next door.

The pillows are too hard and thick for us. We often like softer pillows.

I keep coming back to the Maverick Hotel.

Location is great-- I run the trails by the river. The rooms are new and cool. The value is great. They are good to my hound. And the breakfast service offers many options. The Maverick Hotel is doing it right. This is a good place!

this place is very old and run down. the photos make it look comparable to other hotels in the area that are the same price. it’s also very loud because it’s on a busy road.

Convenient & quaint

Convenient location for show at the arena. Nice room with comfortable beds. Breakfast was one of the best I've had, lots of choices available. Very friendly staff.

The Maverick’s best feature is its location but it could use some upgrade to improve the stay.

Location!! If you are visiting to tour the school or see a basketball game at UO, this is a perfect location.

There are so many small changes that could be done to make the stay more enjoyable. Our room had NO hooks or towel bars anywhere, including the bathroom, to hang wet towels, wet raincoats, etc., The bathroom is tiny, and there is no mirror in the main room so that people can be getting ready while the other is using sink/toilet/shower. The lighting is very dim in the room, and there is no sheer curtain, so you either have to close the black out curtains, and then you’re in a dark cave or open the curtains and you are visible to the entire parking lot and everyone who passes by. (particularly where our room was located on the first floor near the lobby where there’s lots of foot and car traffic. Fish bowl!!) So… brighter lamps, sheer curtains, mirror in room, and tons of hooks. Such cheap easy fix and it would make a HUGE difference.

Clean and comfortable. We were in town to watch a basketball game so location was perfect, right across the street from the stadium. Had a great night sleep - bed very comfy!

Wonderful location near the action, but removed enough to be chill

Comfortable bed with 4 ideal-hardness pillows—supportive, yet not stiff. The breakfast was really good—tasty microwaveable meals, plenty of milk and juice options, granola, muffins, bagels, etc. Also their pet-policy was very fair.

The shower was a bit aged feeling, and the sink, toilet and shower all in the same room so more difficult to get ready for a small group of people at the same time.

great place to stay in Eugene / comfy & clean room / reasonably priced / very convenient + walkable to University of Oregon / friendly staff

this light fixture that was placed so directly in the path of the side of the bed so that you couldn’t help but bang your head into it several times if you’re over 5ft tall

Overall it was exactly what we were looking for and we had a good stay.

location, location, location. Proximity to Oregon campus and nearby restaurants. Unique room decor and styling was fun! Staff was friendly.

The traffic/road noise, could hear everything, no buffer. Also the room had a minor urine scent, likely due to its pet friendly policy.

Overall it was good but some staff are definitely more warm then others.

I loved the vibe and the room size. The bed and pillows were comfortable and it was very quiet. The grab and go breakfast is amazing!!!

I didn’t like having to communicate the same things to 3 different staff members and then being told different things by easy one.

We stayed on the bottom floor and the upstairs neighbors were noisy throughout the night. we had 2 queen beds and one mattress was pretty firm.

Great hotel! love the retro vibe. staff super friendly, facilities very clean, and coffee lots of coffee:)) location perfect for visiting my duckling at UO (literally across the street) So convenient. Will definitely stay here again. Sco Ducks!
