House was clean. Perfect for our sized group. Downfall was that check in was supposed to be at 5pm, which is late in my opinion to charge for a whole day. I reached out to VACASA for more bath towels because we had 7 people staying there, and were only provided with 4 towels. I asked for more towels, but they were never brought. No hot tub cover at all so every leaf that blew off the trees ended up in the hot tub. House needs a few upgrades, but no other complaints! Location was great! Close to everything needed!

Several issues upon arrival. We checked in early because I received a text stating it was clean and we could come early. AC wasn’t working upstairs where most of the bedrooms were. Hot tub/pool area was filthy. Niether were operational. Hot tub was half full & filters were super clogged in the pool. Dirty underwear were left behind on the pool lounge chair. Trash was scattered. Bathrooms were dirty. Toilets didn’t flush well. 3rd floor balcony railing was broken. A small child nearly fell, but we are thankful that we caught her in time. The first couple of days were filled with waiting for maintenance & pool contractor to finish repairs. With all that was wrong, Tony, the maintenance manager seemed on his game. He took care of everything. I do feel that he handled it as best as he could, but NONE of these issues should have occurred.

The house was perfect. Could use a deep clean but overall it met our needs!

Listen, it's a beach house; so there will be some wear and tear. Some lights didn't work and the hot tub needs some love... But this is a sweet spot. My family had a wonderful time and felt like this was one of the best locations we have stayed in OBX. The pool was fantastic. It is close to everything that matters and Vacasa is attentive to any issues. Our door would not lock at first, but a gentleman came and made a repair after we notified them.
The only real issue was it's listed that there is a video game console onsite but that was not there when we stayed. Since that was not the reason we chose the house it didn't matter to us... just a heads up to any gamers.

Nice pool and adequate hot tub.

The property was in a nice quiet area with close access to a grocery store. Bit of a walk to the beach but not that far. Reported problems but never resolved (hot tub needed maintenance, lights not working, door lock broken, faucet dripping and more). Pool was nice. Property needs someone to do a walk through before next guest.

Terrific neighborhood for bike riders and walkers -and great amenities - neighborhood pool, tennis courts and close to stores and restaurants. Beach just a short walk away.

Great location but had some issues
Great location with only a few minutes to walk to the beach. Loved having a washer and dryer as well! Grocery store is right next to the neighborhood.
Neighborhood is quiet and there are lots of convenient dog waste stations around.
Only issues were that two of the three shower curtains in the house had lots of mold on them and the tubs didn't drain well. Because of this, we ended up only using one shower in the house.
The hot tub was also not completely full when we got there (several jets weren't submerged) and the tub gradually lost an abnormal amount of water during our stay.
Also to note: there aren't any dish towels in the house so might want to bring your own.

Great location
This house was light, bright, and comfortable. It was as also clean. This house is not a beach property but easily walkable to beach.

Worker for us!
We booked this home the last minute on our kids Spring Break. The house worked fine for us and had most of what we needed for our trip. It was too chilly to use the pool but the hot tub was nice. It’s placed in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of stores and a small shopping center.

Don't Pick Here! Waste of Money and Time!!
I would recommend choosing somewhere else. When we arrived Saturday evening the yard, driveway, carport area were flooded. Water was more than ankle deep. Definitely a mess trying to unload all of our stuff. There were several lights burned out outside so was also hard to see. The landscape needs major updates, trees need trimmed, weeds need upkeep & also around the pool area needs cleaned bad! The inside needs a deep clean, carpet is disgusting. The house is pet friendly but there are stains all over the carpets & it looks like its never been cleaned. The main kitchen light was burned out, the microwave door handle was broken, the door knob on the main level had to be replaced (everytime someone closed the door they would get stuck in the bathroom), smoke detector batteries had to be replaced, was not able to utilize the game room (foosball table only had ping pong balls & also the XBox did not have an HDMI cord), the ice maker did not work (until my fiance pulled it out to try and fix it & realized that the water line was cut off which we would have not known because nobody said anything about that), the pool lights did not work so there was no lights outside at night for the pool, there was dog hair, dirt along baseboards, the bed boards, & blankets. The air filter looked like it has never been changed. We had the master bedroom which has a king bed but it was very hard (not a good night sleep). Thank goodness we went to look at the pool the night we got there because someone left the water hose on in the pool and it was almost overflowing & the pool was freezing. There was only 2 days we were able to enjoy the pool because the water was so cold, seems like someone stuck the hose in it to make the water cold so we would purchase the pool heater. I called once the rental office opened the next day & was thankful the maintenance man came out on Monday but they wouldn't do anything about the pool being cold. The maintenance man fixed the main kitchen light but when it was on it made a loud buzzing, irritating hum. The door knob to the bathroom was replaced, batteries replaced for the smoke alarms, my uncle replaced the bulbs outside with some extra bulbs he found at the house, the pool lights were never fixed & never got the HDMI cord for the XBox. There were ants all over the kitchen & also by the kitchen table. Mosquitos were really bad, the maintenance man suggested for us to go to the store & buy mosquito yard spray to help. Don't waste $$$!

Awesome property close to everything in Avon
House was great. However, there are ants in kitchen. Bought bug spray then found some in drawers etc.

Great stay!
We had a great week at this property! It was accurately pictured and described (I actually feel it was more spacey than pictured!), a very convenient location to the beach, store, etc. The grill was a little disappointing (it was basically a “camp site” charcoal grill in the front yard), and we did have an issue with the pool mid week: the filter stopped running by Tuesday afternoon - called the maintenance number as it was a hot week and obviously, not having a filter circulating and cleaning led to a little bit of a grimy, cloudy pool by the end of the week. I was really disappointed by the response time from the maintenance sector, and the pool never did get fixed while we were there. One of the main attractions of renting this property was for the pool (we had 2 little guys and an 8 month pregnant guest that were not able to get in the rough ocean and relied on cooling off in the pool). Other than that, everything else was great - wonderful spot and rental for a family vacation.

Great stay
We arrived Saturday and unfortunately had to evacuate Monday morning so our stay was interrupted by Hurricane Maria. There are no views of beaches from this location but the house was very nice. Beds are not comfortable, very hard and comforters are a little worn. We purchased the bedding package and that was all clean and in good condition. One of the upstairs bathrooms was in need of some TLC. I would definitely rent again. The rental company was very professional and friendly. Just wish we could have stayed for the whole vacation.

Well equipped beach house with plenty of room for our group.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nautlius (week of 9/16/17). Having Club Hatteras available to us when we arrived early was a nice perk. Hatteras Realty did a wonderful job keeping us updated of impending weather, trash pickups, etc.. The house was spacious and the kitchen was very well-stocked. We loved having a private pool and hot tub. Great location-subdivision is right next door to the grocery store as well as restaurants.
