The house was clean and the beds very comfortable. It is an older home but We enjoyed our stay and felt at home. Our 5 year old Cockapoo was very comfortable also.

Words will not completely capture the feeling of staying in this home. If you love Mount Dora this is the place to stay.

The cottage was in a quiet residential area with beautiful trees. It was clean and appointed with all the things needed in the bath and kitchen. The only drawback was the tv, the local stations were unavailable (for the Super Bowl game. We loved the downtown area and parks.

We had the cute cottage to attend a family bereavement.
It’s a quaint cute cottage filled with character. Beds were comfy. Kitchen is stocked. Near all around Mt Dora. Easy access to roads and highways. Owner was responsive and attentive.
Highly recommend a stay!

Everything was as described. Beds were comfortable. Location of the house was near downtown. Back yard was great for our dogs and fenced in. Only complaint….please fix the door knob to one of the bedrooms. It kept falling off.

My daughters and I enjoyed our stay at this nicely appointed, conveniently located cottage in historic Mount Dora. The home is decorated very well and offers everything a small group would need while in the area.

A great and comfortable place for a small family or 2 couples. The enclosed backyard was a bonus for our little dog, and it has ample space for family members to enjoy too.

The cottage is very cute and is decorated perfectly for the house and the era. It actually reminded me of my grandparents place in Sarasota, so it brought on warm and comfortable feelings.
Everything was provided, above and beyond. We brought food and enjoyed cooking in the kitchen that had everything.
The backyard was friendly and had a great sitting area with a fire-pit. You will want to bring mosquito spray. After all, it's summer in Florida. We brought our 6 year old Bichon Frise, Auggie, that totally enjoyed hanging out with us day and night in the yard and we were comfortable because it was a safe place for him and total enclosed.
The cottage is located in the historic district and the neighborhood is quaint with neat properties that added to the feeling of old Florida. It is "close" to downtown on E 11th Ave, but I would not enjoy walking to downtown in the summer heat. However, everything is a short drive.
If you haven't been to Mt. Dora yet, you should definitely think about going. It was a lovely, relaxing weekend because of everything (unique shopping, delicious restaurants, beautiful views on the lakes, many parks, Farm Market on Sunday downtown. So peaceful and the locals are very friendly.
Casa de Fior is the perfect places to stay as you explore and enjoy this charming town and this part of Florida.
We will definitely go back again.
Thank you Jessica!

Such a great relaxing vacation! Adorable cottage and fully equipped for guests. Loved how close to downtown!

Perfect place to stay in the perfect town for short get-a-away. Felt like I was in a Story Book Cottage.

Property was cute, clean and safe. Furnished to maximize the space and had everything we needed. Adorably decorated to keep the cottage appeal. Responsive owner. We will stay here when we come to town again.
On a personal note, I would recommend putting blackout curtains in at least the front bedroom. It would help with the two windows to cut down on heat during the day and the street light at night. The AC works great, just a suggestion to conserve energy. Thank you.

I really don't know where to begin. Maybe it's the plywood floor as you enter the home. Or the dirty cushions on the front porch rockers. Maybe it's the black stains on the inside of the front door. This home had microfiber cloths with black stains offered as washcloths. The bathroom contained a total of 4 bath towels which at one time were probably white. The bathroom did not have ANY hand towels, so I had to improvise and use paper towels. WE HAD TO GO AND PURCHASE LINENS. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! What's even better is when I contacted the owner she had someone drop off new linens and I had the honor of removing the price tags and laundering them. There were no dishcloths in the kitchen. I had to purchase those also. I was able to use 2 of the 4 kitchen towels to dry dishes, 2 of them were so stained I couldn't use. The kitchen utensil holder had dirt in it! We had a total of 2 teaspoons. Totally inadequate utensils. The back kitchen door would not totally close, thus we had small geckos in the house. The laundry was in a FILTHY garage and the only light was a table lamp that did not have a lampshade. We couldn't use the outdoor patio furniture as the cushions were so stained. I have been in contact with the owner and have forwarded photos of all of the above and she states she will have her cleaning crew look into the matter. The neighbors state she is at this house frequently so she is aware of the condition. It is my opinion this listing needs to be removed.

The house is well equipped, cozy & comfortable….with a nice, small, fenced-in backyard for my dog.
The location is perfect if you want to be near the city’s center.

Really cute, comfortable and cozy place. When they said "just bring your clothes & toothbrush" they meant it! Had everything, right down to Q-tips!! Very private and fenced backyard with nice seating that we totally enjoyed. Neighbors were great, friendly and helpful. Mt Dora is a charming, historic town and is definitely "old Florida". Was very comfortable walking the dog late at night. Felt safe & secure in this neighborhood. Thanks Jessica. You are top notch! Would highly recommend and we will hopefully return again. We had a wonderful stay at Jessica’s place. She thought of everything. Kitchen and bathroom were well stocked, with everything one would need. Truly vacation ready. Very cozy home and fairly quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the backyard and fire pit on a few of the cooler nights, very lovely.
We did not have any issues with our stay. However anytime I reached out with a question, Jessica was available and quick to respond. We would highly recommend.

My Daughter and I was looking forward to a girl's weekend in Mt Dora when we booked this trip and a few days AFTER paying a considerable cost for the entire 4 days, we were told that this property was DOUBLE BOOKED and that we COULD NOT USE IT.

We had a wonderful stay at the quaint Casa de Fior. It had everything we needed for 2 adults, 2 babies, and a dog to stay comfortably. We even managed to cook a small Thanksgiving dinner with everything available to us in the kitchen! The location was also fantastic and we enjoyed many walks downtown and to local parks. We would definitely stay again on another trip to Mount Dora!

This was a charming property in the historic district of Mount Dora. The rooms were small with the one adjoining the bathroom having opposing doors that were problematic in that one door needed to be fully closed in order to open the other one. Although the queen bed in the one bedroom was appreciated, it overtook the entrance to the closet despite being pushed fully against the wall. The oven door did not fully open due to the position of door knobs on the counter, and the oven only contained one rack. Lastly, the bathroom shower was in need of a thorough cleaning of the water dial and the grout.
A simple abode with some charm that could benefit from a little more attention to detail. The owner did not reach out to us to make certain all was well but did respond quickly to an email.

Jessica’s cozy cottage looks exactly like the pictures: beautifully decorated, lovely and warm. The home provided us shelter during Hurricane Ian when we evacuated our home in Venice, FL. Jessica could not have been kinder to us, even when she was in the midst of preparing for Hurricane Ian to hit Mt. Dora. I highly recommend renting with Jessica. She is the consummate professional who takes excellent care of her properties.

This ended up being our best vacation partly because of the cottage. We had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean and well organized. Instructions from the owner made everything easy. This cottage is perfect for a girls or couples getaway. We enjoyed the screened porch in the front of the house for our morning coffee and our evening wine. I highly recommend staying here.

Lovely stay
Great experience overall. The decor is lovely and thoughtful. The fence is not 6 ft on the edges that face the front yard. It wasn't an issue for us, but for a dog who jumps, this is a consideration. I also would suggest a railing down the back steps into the yard for safety. It was steeper than I was expecting. Really cute place and we felt safe.

Overall a lovely cottage. Location was a little further out. Not walking distance to downtown.
Everything we needed was there to make us comfortable. Some of the little extras were nice. Enjoyed the record player.
