About this house rental
Sweet downtown home delivers big on location. In one of the quieter parts of downtown, the street dead-ends at the culvert so vehicle volume and noise are almost non-existent. Walk just 3 blocks to State Street and its pedestrian promenade. Walk or ride the Downtown Shuttle or Waterfront Trolley about 10 blocks to Stearn's Wharf and the Beach, bike, kayak, SUP rental and more.
Close enough to walk, yet far enough away to be able to relax on the covered veranda when ready.
Darling home has two full size bedrooms, one with a King, one with a Queen. A mini bedroom is tucked in the back of the home and provides two twins and access to the half bath.
Both the back and front yards are fully gated and safe for little ones or your fur baby (max two pets permitted per stay, $85/pet ).
The neighborhood is tree-lined and very safe. You'll be happy to know that onsite parking (a downtown rarity) is provided for up to three vehicles. Street parking is available for 90 minutes during the day.

Spacious, well furnished, and conviniently located close to downtown.

This house is so adorable. Completely out of the fray (super quiet little neighborhood), but easy walking distance to State street and all the best shops, restaurants and bars. The front porch is a great spot to hang out, and our little French Bulldog loved the front yard. I would highly recommend staying here!

We felt comfortable and welcome as soon as we arrived. The house had everything we needed and a beautiful porch and yard. The neighborhood is quiet, convenient to State Street and felt very safe. Off street parking was a huge plus. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely little house in Santa Barbara, and didn't have any issues during our stay. There were places to gather and eat, including the lovely front yard and porch area. We did have to purchase some extra toilet paper and laundry detergent as we were a full house, but that wasn't a problem as you are downtown SB and close to everything! For those who are sensitive, it is a pet friendly home so pack your allergy meds if needed. If you are sound sensitive, be aware trash on Thursday mornings is an orchestral affair due to the number of homes on the streets. None of those things detracted from our stay, but noted in case they help others. We loved the many restaurant and food options located close by, and would definitely choose this house on a return trip to Santa Barbara!

We really annoyed the little Teal house. Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and close to everything. The house cozy and new kitchen update was very well done, will stay again.

Loved it: Location, home, manager
Loved this place! We were a little concerned about the kitchen being on the older side, but it turned out to be way better than we thought. The location is to die for and the front covered porch was our favorite place for morning coffee.
Highly recommend. We will be back.
PS: the manager Lynn said the owner was upgrading the kitchen in June.

Cozy home near where you want to be in SB
Our family of four, including two kids under seven, really enjoyed our stay in this home. The location was perfect for walking to restaurants, pharmacy and retail shopping on State St. I also enjoyed running down State in the mornings to the wharf. The home is old and comes with old home charm and need for compromises—some doors don’t stay shut, not enough convenient electric outlets, no dishwasher. However, the owners have done a nice job helping travelers by offering multi power outlets, dish racks, etc. We appreciated the extra towels, pillows, kids cups, wine glasses and utensils. The front and backyard offered nice room for my young kids to play while fenced in. A watch-out for parents of curious toddlers is that the microwave and washing machine are within easy reach. Overall, we felt very comfortable there and the owners were responsive. We would definitely stay there again!

Wonderful home situated perfectly to enjoy both downtown life and waterfront visits. Easy access, comfortable furnishings, pretty outdoor areas and parking all made our stay in SB a memorable time. Will keep on list of places to stay in SB! Thanks for having us.

Great location, cute spot
Being walking distance to State is wonderful, and the house had pretty much everything we could ask for (except, as folks WFH for 6 weeks, a dishwasher/disposal). We particularly loved the front porch and comfy beds.

Amazing location abs adorable house.
Came up for a quick stay and had a blast. Hiked at Lake Cachuma and had amazing meals that we picked up. Ran to the beach and biked to Montecito for lunch. The house has a great heater when it got cold at night and an AC that will be great when it’s hot. Good bedding, charming decor. Can’t wait to return!
