Our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. A nice getaway.

My sister and I enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The home is old and has all the charm of the era when it was built. The neighbors were quiet and friendly. For those of you not familiar with parking in Buffalo. You are allowed to park on one side of the street only and that side is dependent on the day of the week. The street fills up pretty fast so be prepared to find a parking spot. If I return to Buffalo I would stay here again. Much more comfortable than a hotel and I can't get the theme song to All In The Family out of my head.

This home is in a great location and has some charm to it. However, upon arrival, there were some concerning issues related to cleanliness. While the kitchen, dining and living rooms were acceptable, the bathroom and bedrooms were not up to par. The bathtub had numerous small black hairs in it. Additionally, a brown substance was streaked across the wall opposite the toilet. In the bedrooms, we found a previous renter's underwear left in the dresser. When we moved the dressers in both bedrooms to search for additional outlets, we found quite a bit of garbage left behind to include: a half smoked cigar, more dirty underwear, trash, a toothbrush, a razor, a sharp-ended comb, and a broken frame. Beneath the bed was also covered in crumbs and looked as though it hadnt been touched in some time. We relayed this to the owner immediately and he was responsive. He sent the cleaner back the following morning and she did clean the areas we were dissatisfied with. While she was very kind, she was forthright and said, "yeah I've never moved and looked behind anything. I just sweep under the dressers." I work in the short term rental industry and this level of housekeeping is unacceptable and unhygienic. Had it just been myself and my husband staying, it would have been simply frustrating. However, we have a toddler who is all over the floor, so these issues (especially the dirty underwear, razor, and tobacco product) raised the issue from frustrating to disconcerting.

Great stay and place!

We absolutely loved our stay. The home is a two story home with two separate apartments - one on the first floor and one on the second floor. We were on the first floor. The home was very clean and spacious and Brian was extremely responsive. Our stay was short, however we had everything we needed. We highly recommend walking to JJ's Pizza up the street and check out Mister Sandwich. The neighborhood is quiet and we felt very safe. Driveway parking is for the upstairs apartment, however we had no issues with finding parking on the street. We really appreciated the use of the washer and dryer in the basement. The home is an older home so the floors creak and some of the doors are older. Also can hear the upstairs tenants when they walk and sometimes their TV, however it wasn't an issue for us.
We found the home to be centrally located with a short drive to Bills stadium and to the falls. We plan to return to Buffalo again soon and will absolutely book here to stay.

Well-maintained for an older building, we were comfortable, and location wasn’t too bad for where we needed to go during our stay. Nice, quiet neighborhood also. There was a slight centipede presence in one of the bedroom closets, but did not bother us other than being noticed, and we didn’t use that closet at all anyway. Overall a pretty pleasant stay

We had a very quick stay. Everything was great. Plenty of utensils and supplies in the kitchen. Very quiet street. Parking was not an issue with an F150. Only 10-15 minutes from the center of Buffalo and Highmark Stadium and 25-30 away from Niagara Falls. Great spot to stay for a weekend in Buffalo.

This was our second visit to Buffalo and our second stay at Brian's apartment. The accommodations were just as we remembered. However, I would note that since this is an older home, upstairs guests can be heard easily (talking and walking) when in the lower level. This generally isn't a problem, but the guests who were staying upstairs while we were there were unusually active all night long which resulted in sleepless nights. Otherwise, our stay was just perfect.

This townhouse style apartment was tucked in a cozy neighborhood 30 minutes from Niagara Falls in South Buffalo. Within minutes of many of Buffalo’s famous restaurants (some within walking distance) and provided everything we needed for a great stay. Communication with the property manager was always welcomed and encouraged and everything went smoothly.

We stayed at this property for 2 weeks. It was a perfect location to visit old friends and see all Buffalo has to offer. The property met all our expectations from the description. The neighborhood was very safe, Cazanovia Park was at the end of the street, and coffee shops, restaurants, shops were all nearby. We really enjoyed our time.

This house was the perfect home base for our football weekend in Buffalo. It was close to the stadium for the game and to downtown for fun nights out! Having space to spread out, cook and relax was great. The owner was available for all our inquiries and needs.

The check in experience was great. Brian, the host left very good directions on how to check in and it was a simple process! The apartment was clean and being from Buffalo, was a very classic Buffalo style apartment. It was in a quiet neighborhood and seemed decently close to everything. I knew Brian was only a message away if we needed anything. 10/10 would stay again!

You get what you pay for.
Overall the stay was ok and not as expensive as some of the other places nearby, but there was plenty of room for improvement. No lights were on when we arrived, so it was a little hard to see where we were supposed to go, or to get into the place. Even once inside, it was hard to find lights… and the creaky wooden floors made it feel like a thriller movie. It was definitely a little different than pictured online, but I’m guessing between the art of lighting for photos (we couldn’t open the curtains since the neighbors are so close) and just over time, things have changed. It is pretty much bare bones ( bring your own coffee) compared to other places we have stayed. I will say, when I messaged the owner about the fire alarm battery that started chirping in the middle of the night, I also asked him if the coffee pods (as pictured) were anywhere else (they were not) to which he promptly dropped off batteries and a canister of Folgers (which neither of us drink, so we never opened it). Owner may need to look into getting a new cleaning service due to the lack of cleaning in general, old towels, bathroom in need of cleaning, and (I think my biggest issue) the stained /soiled mattress that had no cover. I think this is where everything fell a part for me. I was willing to overlook pretty much everything else, but once my fiance pulled off the sheets (as requested before we left), even he told me not to go look at the bed. Again- owner seemed super nice, but the place needs work.

Great Buffalo Vacation
We had a great time visiting Buffalo, We came for a wedding, went to Niagara Falls, down town and the navy museum. The house was large enough for our family of 4, stacked with all that we needed to make our stay comfortable, and in perfect location for all the activities we were interested in. The neighborhood is nice, safe and quite, and we enjoyed the park near by as well.
