It was hard to leave this lovely lake getaway - especially watching our 1-year old puppy joyfully take his first swim! Porches and open floor plan great for pets. Bunk bed room will be popular with the grandchildren. Fairy lights strung between oaks and pines on the hilly wooded lot were magical

This was a cozy cabin that was perfect and had everything we needed and more. The views were amazing and provided a great vacation get away and relaxing environment. The host was very helpful and extremely responsive!

Our stay was great from the start. The property was easy to find, secluded from neighbors and just what we wanted to relax. The cabin was beautifully furnished, all the extra amenities you could ask for and the paddle boards/kayaks were a great way to spend the time. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Came to stay a long weekend with the family and the stay was wonderful! Plenty of space for the three of us and our dog. Our dog really enjoyed the house and the lake. Beth was very responsive and everything went smoothly. Thanks Beth!

We enjoyed our stay. Even though the water was low my husband caught a few fish. My grandchildren came over for a day and enjoyed playing on the paddle boards. I enjoyed the peace and quiet so I could catch up on my reading. All in all there was something for everyone to do.

A great place with a wonderful view of the lake. The house is well equipped with all you need for a stay at the lake including a canoe and kayaks. The house was very clean and comfortable for our stay-we even brought our dog who loved it!

Home away from home! More home than cabin. All the comforts of home nestled in the trees right on the lake. We thoroughly enjoyed the mornings and evenings on the deck, use of the provided kayaks and canoe and just fishing on the dock. Owners were super easy to work with and welcomed our two four legged family members, chocolate labs. We would highly recommend and we look forward to returning to Quick Retreat on Lake Wateree.

Elizabeth and David have a hidden gem in this property. It sits on a private lot on the lake with great amenities. The hosts are helpful and very responsive. It was very clean, and well supplied with everything you will need. I stayed during the weekend of the hurricane never lost power, cable or internet. I highly recommend this property for families or just the get away weekend for two.

We had a wonderful time during our stay. The house was comfortable, extremely well laid out for us with our 2 young kids and well equipped with what you need for cooking. We look forward to returning! Host was extremely responsive and great to work with. Location on the lake was wonderful - we used the dock for our 21ft center console, and the cove was quiet. One of our favorite features of the house was the view! We enjoyed evenings lounging in the sunroom and the view was stunning all weekend long.

Awesome Place

This place was great. We stayed for an entire week. We brought our boat and put it in at a local ramp and we’re able to leave it in the water at the dock for the house. House was roomy enough for our five people we had staying. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and utensils. The owner messaged us about check in/out instructions, easy process. Great place to get away for the weekend or a week long stay. Highly recommend.

Lovely cottage on the lake

We had a rough start as there was a severe storm that knocked out the power to the cottage (and surrounding area). It was pretty hot and the windows don’t open and there are no screen doors. However, the electricity came back on around midnight. After that the house temperature was well regulated. The cottage has a beautiful view of the lake and many windows letting in a good amount of light. It was very pleasant sitting on the porch listening to and watching the birds and looking out at the lake. We had fun sitting around the fire pit in the evening and were greeted by a few adorable toads. During the day it was a lot of fun kayaking around the lake and spotting a blue heron every once in a while. Overall we had a very pleasant stay.

A week of much needed relaxation. The large open main room was very nice, but I spent most of my time on the spacious back deck. We had family over for my brothers birthday and everyone absolutely loved it. Nice dock as well.

The Retreat is just that--a quiet home away from it all with breathtaking views of Lake Wateree. It would be really great for families who are into water sports as it has it's own dock. We enjoyed our stay very much!
