About this house rental

223 Hickman Street is a South Rehoboth Beach vacation rental situated approximately three blocks from the beach. Guests will enter this coastal getaway on the first floor, where they will find one bedroom and a full bathroom. There is space for everyone in this rental home as well, as the first floor includes a living room, large family room, and private sitting room with futon. Completing the first floor are the kitchen and dining rooms. Head upstairs to find the remaining four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms share one bathroom, which is located in the hallway. There is a single bedroom which connects to the large en-suite with its own bathroom. At this beach home, guests will find off-street parking for two cars, and the owner also offers two on-street parking passes that can be used at any non-metered parking spots within the city of Rehoboth Beach. Guests can also take advantage of the garage, which may be used for storing all your beach equipment, and enjoy outdoor living on the front screened porch. *This is a non smoking home. Pets are not permitted.
A linen package can be purchased for your stay. The cost of the linen package for one week's stay is $316.00.

All VRBO reservations are a booking request only until confirmed by Property Manager. You will be required to sign a Residential Lease Agreement and make your payment within the required deadlines provided or your booking request will be cancelled. As a property manager, we welcome “Special Event” rentals. All properties are individually owned and not all properties are available for “Special Event” rentals. Credit Card payments subject to 2% fee.

Bedding-
First floor- 1 Double & 1 Twin, 1 Double Futon
Second floor- 1 Queen, 2 Singles, 1 King and 1 Twin Trundle, 1 Single - *The king and the trundle are in one large en-suite; One single bedroom with twin bed is adjoining to the en-suite but can be closed off for privacy. You have to walk thru the single bedroom to get to the King/trundle bedroom.
There is additional sleeping space in the living area with a queen-sized sleeper sofa. Please note that linens for this bed are not included in the linen package, so you will need to bring your own sheets.

Great stay in this house. Very clean and great setup for family fun. Open design allows for everyone to be close but have their space. Fairly close to beach and other than Mom we were all walking to the beach. Fun times!

We love our yearly trip to Rehoboth and this year was no different. This location was amazing. A nice walk to/from the beach and close to the heart of Rehoboth with restaurants all about a 15min walk. Plenty of room to spread out in the house when needed.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we were very satisfied. Nice location . Storing bikes in the garage was very helpful. We were surprised that the place had no supplies like trash bags, detergent (laundry or dish). Two step areas were dangerous1) going from kitchen to family room the flooring is the same and there is a small hidden step. 2nd there is a landing on the main level that intersects with stairs, LR, BR and den- to go through you must go up and down. Treacherous! There was also water damage and missing parts to fan on front porch. Despite the flaws we had a good time.

Great size and location. Overall nice place, just a little cumbersome with small children. Easy walk to boardwalk and Rehoboth avenue. Would've been nice to have outside access to the garage to store beach toys, strollers, and coolers, etc. without taking them up the stairs onto the porch.

We absolutely loved this house for our girls weekend. The description is exact. This was one of the cleanest houses I ever stayed in. We enjoyed the walk to town and the beach. It was in a great neighborhood and would definitely rent again. Thanks for making our weekend great.

The house was impeccably clean, the kitchen was well appointed and ,important for our 3 year old grandson, it was near Turtle Bridge and a playground. We especially enjoyed the "garage drop zone" which was perfect for bikes, sandy toys and wet towels. We will be back next year!

223 Hickman is a perfect beach house; the photos online do not do it justice. The large family room is wonderful - space for everyone to chat, play, or watch a TV show. Kitchen is well stocked; dining room table big enough for ten to eat, and works well for puzzle making. We had overnight guests stay in the sitting room (I'm not sure exactly what the room is called - it's the first room when you enter the house); the pull out couch is comfortable. The bedrooms are nicely appointed, lots of beach/seashore touches - which we all loved - and the beds are comfortable. Great screened in porch and the outside shower is a great addition! It's an easy ten minute walk to the beach and the neighborhood is lovely and sweet.

The house was great for a family gathering of 12. It was ages 4 to 78. Plenty of places to gather or go off and have some alone time or a quiet catch-up with another family member. Lots of different spaces to eat at. The kitchen is the best supplied I’ve ever seen and I’ve stayed at many houses across the country over the years. Thanks so much for letting us stay in your beautiful home.

The beach house was spacious enough for all 12 of us. Walk to the beach was easy for all age groups. 11 year olds to 71 year olds. House had a screened in front porch which we all like. Lots of great memories were made.
