The host of this hostel is a fake and dishonest person.
I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here. Yes, they may seem hospitable and very nice but we were in the situation that showed their real faces.
First, they don’t have a form C to accept foreigners but we didn’t know about it and they didn’t tell us
We didn’t know that it wasn’t allowed to fly on drone near houses and the police officer asked us to go to the police station, he was a nice and very respectful. He allowed us to go just to tell us: no issues, it was an offence, I think you understand that it is not allowed.
When we were in the police station we gave the number of this hotel because they had asked where we had stayed
And the story began.
The police officer called the host to the police station and they came.
The master of this hostel started calling me telling that I made a big crime and that I had to be in the Darjeeling police tomorrow, that the situation started becoming serious and that they were kept (the master of this hostel) in the police because of us. That I had to check out immediately and he didn’t explain why. He just said that I had to leave immediately.
I was stressed out and didn’t understand how it could be if we solved everything and why they were kept. I felt so bad
But it turned out that this disgusting person (the master of this hotel) didn’t tell the truth because we called the police officer and he told us that they were kept because they couldn’t accept foreigners! And we didn’t need to go to any police station that day. “No issues about you guys, and the host would pay for your new place, it would be of his side ”- he told us
In conclusion, the master of this hostel is a fake and disgusting person who will smile at your face and show hospitality and at a time he is a big lier and hypocrite who didn’t hesitate to make his guests stressed out without no reason telling them a lie and hide why they were kept.

The location of the hotel is too far from the city and hotel rooms were too small the toilet was also very small and tiny... There was no cleaning

Nothing at all, it's a shaddy place . The level of dirty ness crossed all levels and they have no idea about how to run a beautiful homestay . As soon as I entered , it was a messy and dirty property , where I had spider nets around my bed and common washroom were so dirty that throughout the night I could not use washroom , I asked for drinking water before I slept uncomfortably , which they forgot to give me. Floors are so pathetic in condition that I didn't felt like keep my feets on the floor. I have stayed in many hostels and homestays at reasonay rates but cleaning is the basic fundamentals what I look for. I could not click more photos because of short space for photos.

Behavior of the staffs were the only 'okay' thing.
Location is 10kms away from Mall Road and very tough to reach. No car is available to go to any place after 6 in the evening. No private bathroom/washroom. Unclean bedsheets and blanket. Small rooms.

A little away from the main hustle and bustle of Darjeeling mal, this homestay provides you a tranquil and beautiful stay. Benuji, the main host is a very warm person. However, you will find another interesting person in the manager there. Benuji cooks really good and the view from the terrace of the second floor or the rooftop on the fourth is great. You can ask for bonfire and the manager would be happy to do so in a trice. Rest assured you will find this place warm enough for any age group and size, family and friends alike.
