Cosy, agréable et calme
Le gîte est très bien situé, nous pouvions nous rendre au centre historique de Rouen à pied (20min).
Nous avons apprécié le jardin et la vue panoramique sur la ville.

Lovely small gite
Owners very welcoming and helpful. We had a fabulous time in a beautiful property. Not really suitable if unsteady on feet, stairs to bedroom extremely steep and hazardous if you’re carrying anything. Long walk into town but great if you are fit and well and enjoy walking, as we do.
It is a beautiful house where the owners have thought of everything to make our stay pleasant- even a welcoming chocolate cake!
Overall, brilliant

Mooie accommodatie
Een mooie, gastvrije en gezellige accomodatie die van alle gemakken is voorzien.
Een prima uitvalsbasis om Rouen en Normandië te ontdekken.

Wunderbare kleine Unterkunft in traumhafter Umgebung
Danke Fabienne.

Amazing views, perfect place to stay, fantastic hosts!
Fabienne’s little house is a real gem! The views over Rouen are fantastic and we were sad that we only had one night to enjoy it.
The accommodation is small but perfectly planned and has every convenience, as well as being stylish and modern. It is obvious that a lot of thought went into creating it.
We decided to stay in and cook a meal and everything we needed was available. We sat outside until late in the evening watching the sunset over Rouen and it was perfect!
Our only concern would be for less able travellers as there are a lot of steps and climbing as the house is high on a hillside. But if you are fit and able, it’s well worth the effort!
Overall, a fantastic stay and to be highly recommended.

NO DETAILS WERE MISSED IN THIS SWEET LITTLE COTTAGE
This little GITE was so well appointed and clean. There were little touches which made us feel welcome, including a corked bottle of apple cider and delicious cookies. Also, there was coffee and tea to make and spices if you wanted to prepare a small meal. All the hooks and shelves in all the right places. Everything we needed in such a nice small space. The gardens and views were incredible and Fabienne and her husband were so kind and you know they put a lot of thought into this sweet little GITE.

Property with a view
Property was very nice and had a lovely view over Rouen. Owner was very helpful in giving us information on where to find an open shop on a sunday afternoon/evening. Our dogs enjoyed meeting the owners poodle. We stayed here as a stopover from our journey to the South of France. I'm sure it would be a good place to stay to visit more of Rouen.

A beautiful cottage with very kind and helpful hosts. We and our dog very much enjoyed the cottage, the garden and the neighboring forests, but city is just a short (but steep) walk away and has a lot to offer.

Unique gite in great location
We stayed here for 3 nights during a touring holiday in France. We a very warm welcome even though our arrival had been delayed by bank holiday traffic. Although compact the gite had everything required for our needs. There was a good choice of outside seating with views of the city below. Both and her husband were very helpful and informative about the area. Thank you Fabbienne for the welcome basket of goodies and for the fabulous cake.

Perfect Holiday Home
We had a lovely stay for 4 nights at the Bois Guillamethe gite. It was a very comfortable house with gorgeous view of Rouen. It is surrounded by a beautiful garden where we sat in on most evenings enjoying the peace and quiet. The house had everything we needed for our stay. I highly recommend this property. And our lovely host gave us a basket with local treats to try. Thank you Fabienne for a fantastic stay!

Bois Guillaume gite
We enjoyed our stay in Bois Guillame, the gite was stylish, and comfortable, while compact everything we required was readily available. The rooms are bright with amazing views over Rouen. Our host was very friendly and welcoming, this gite is based in a separate building in the hosts garden, while she was available if needed it still felt relatively private. This gite was in a quiet area of Rouen with a lovely and secure garden with plenty of parking and an easy walk to the old town and boulangerie. This gite had lots of nice touches including an empty kitchen cupboard - this was appreciated as we always struggle for storage. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Excellent Value City Break
This gite is like being in a home from home. It is has been presented in a way that makes excellent use of its space and has everything you need to make you feel at home.
The owners welcomed us in and made us feel at home, whilst the layout of the gardens ensured that we had the privacy of our own areas to sit out in. They made it clear that if we needed anything to let them know.
The gite itself had everything you could possibly need and although there was no cooker there were two hobs and a countertop oven which we did use and it worked great.
Rouen itself is a beautiful historic and very hilly city (we walked into the city most days so got pretty fit during our two weeks stay).
Although there is a little supermarket nearby there is also a great sized Carrefour only 2.5 miles away.
There is plenty of things to see and do outside the city and the gite has a comprehensive folder full of tourist locations.
If we ever return to Rouen we would definitely come back and stay here as not only was a beautiful gite but at our time of staying it was also very excellent value for money.
