Everything about Millies Cottage was ideal for our needs, the view from the living room and kitchen/dining area was relaxing looking out over the village green, the elevated position reduced any vehicle noise, the rear garden fully enclosed & ideal come the warmer summer months, lots of dog walks on the door step, places to eat & drink, cosy bed, cosy cottage and thank you Shaun for the information and welcome texts. We were visiting family in the area, so ideal for us & will return!

This was our second visit to Millie's cottage and it was as perfect as before. Really sweet cottage with everything you need including generous outdoor space, and perfectly positioned in the centre of the village. I love eating breakfast at the dining table and watching the world go by!

We very much enjoyed our 4 night stay at Millie's Cottage. Although the cottage is small the owners have thought of everything! Good selection of pubs and tea rooms in the village.

Small but perfect for our needs. The cottage was spotlessly clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable and the shower was very good. The cottage was in a very good location with lots of pubs, restaurants and cafes for the size of the village.

It was a lovely cottage . We used the cottage as a base to go and explore other nearby towns. There were plenty of different walks to do with the dog. This was by far the most well equipped property we have ever stayed in . The owners had thought of absolutely everything ! Upon arrival there was croissants, jam , cereal, cold water and milk and even biscuits for the dog! We stayed on the hottest week of the year, thank goodness there were fans in both bedrooms.Would highly recommend !

Very clean, well equipped eg decent kitchen, plenty of crockery etc, pet friendly, decent shower, historic, & full of character.
Only negatives - lack of any streetlights and difficulty in parking made it tricky finding place after dark.

Long weekend where we planned to meet up with friends from both London and Cambridge, and the location was good for that although the first 10 miles in any direction are slow going due to the B road approach.

Perfect little cottage with outside garden space as well. We were able to take our dog which was great. Owner very quick to answer emails with any questions we had.
Everything you would need was in the cottage. Good quality bedding and towels and unexpected breakfast provisions was a nice surprise.

Everything great for us, excpet we happened to stay in hottest summer ever and upstairs bedrooms uncomfortably warm. Fans were supplied, which helped.

Bucolic Village life.....
Property is great. Could maybe do with a lick of paint here and there, but feels very cosy. What you should perhaps know bout is the village. It looks like a very sleepy little place, and is beautiful, however it is also seemingly the local mecca for motorcyclists. So on a sunny weekend expect there to be hundreds of motorbikes in the village. Now as a biker myself, I found this great, but realise it may not be to everyones taste.
No complaints about the property at all though. Pet friendly too so double bonus. Plus the garden is pretty secure to make sure your pooches are safe. Highly recommend.
