Life is good in Hatteras at 5,000-square-foot oceanfront Down By The Sea, less than a mile from Hatteras Village Park. This lovely home features a landscaped yard, ample parking, and a huge, oceanfront private pool with all the furnishings you need, plus a private hot tub. Additionally, you'll also enjoy access to the HOA community pool, bathrooms, and nature trail. This spectacular ground-floor escapade has been recently completed with new flooring, paint, and decor. You can also find a custom wet bar with butcher block counters along with a multicade video game system with over 60 classic video games to play!
The first and second bedrooms share a bathroom on the entry level. The third poolside bedroom features a private bath. A new basement wet bar with butcher block countertops, a built-in ice maker, and a refrigerator make the recreation room, which features a pool table and TV, even more enticing. The laundry nook is located mid-level. The fourth bedroom is upstairs and includes a bathroom. The fifth and sixth bedrooms share a bathroom. The seventh and eighth bedrooms are both oceanfront rooms with deck access and private en suite baths. Bedroom nine also features an en suite bath. Recent upgrades to the home include a completely remodeled third-floor great room with new flooring, updated furniture, a gas fireplace, and a TV with streaming capability. The kitchen features a two-corner breakfast bar and a large dining area, plus lots of countertop space and a double oven. Outdoors, the huge, south-facing sundeck is furnished and oriented for ocean and pool watching. A new poolside cabana bar with a sink, and electric and concrete countertops means even more fun times spent socializing outside. Further updates include new composite deck furniture and a poolside picnic table. The best vacations are Down by the Sea, book today!
Things to Know
A new hot tub will be added for the 2023 rental season, along with a freshly resurfaced inground pool.
Elevator and additional access features for guests with limited mobility.
You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your email. You will not be able to check-in until we have received your signature electronically. Please contact us directly if you do not receive this agreement.
The private pool is open seasonally from April through mid-October. Dates are subject to change.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 9 vehicles.
Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.
