Perfect location, beautiful cottage. Anna & John are great hosts. We visited for a family wedding so are very familiar with the location but absolutely loved our stay and even managed a day trip to Cromer. We’ll definitely be back again soon :)

Have just got home from a 3 night stay with my sister and dog.
The cottage has everything, there was nothing missing and extra treats left for both humans and dogs.
Spotlessly clean! The beds were so comfy and would love to know which washing powder is used as they smelt gorgeous!
Logs provided to start you off and there’s a log shop a few mins down the road so you can easily purchase more.
Two pubs within walking distance and it’s a 20 min walk to either north or south beach.
Even though the cottage is in a village the location is very peaceful and we found the whole time we spent there very relaxing.
There’s a smart tv, dvds, books for guests to use. It really did have everything and particularly dog friendly!
We would definitely book again!
Thank you to the hosts too who were very welcoming

We’ve been visiting Heacham for the past few years. But this year we discovered this beautiful cottage. It’s extremely cozy, welcoming and full of original features. We fell in love with Moongazer and truly felt like we’re at home. The hosts/managers are second to none! A very heartening experience indeed. Thank you - we will be back.

Moongazer is a lovely, very clean, tastefully decorated cottage - it had everything we needed for a three night stay and it was very comfortable. Communication was great and there were very thoughtful touches - including some treats on arrival and some dog treats, bowls, a dog towel and poo bags for our dog. So handy!
The pillows are really comfortable and the garden is a good size. There is also a baby gate on the stairs at the top and bottom, which was great for our toddler.
One note to parents travelling with a toddler - there isn’t quite enough floor space in the second bedroom for a travel cot but there is enough space in the main bedroom.
Thank you so much for a fantastic stay!

We decided to go away for three nights over the new year and Moongazer caught our eye. The listing was accurate and the owners very easy to communicate with. The cottage is very cozy and we had a very relaxing stay. We had an Indian takeaway from the local restaurant which was lovely, on new years day we walked to the beach with our dog. Then had lunch at the West Norfolk pub, which was really enjoyable and with the added bonus of being dog friendly. Heacham is a lovely village and everyone was very friendly. The cottage was ideal for us with the dog with a safe and enclosed garden. Only improvement I could suggest for Moongazer would be if you could use your netflix accounts etc on a smart telly, but overall I would still rate our stay 10/10.

We had a fantastic stay, superb cottage very tastefully decorated with every attention to detail thought of including our dog. Very well equipped, great village location, walkable from the cottage to the beach and Hunstanton along the beach front. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cottage with us. We would highly recommend this cottage and will hopefully be back again in the future.

The cottage was warm and spacious and very comfortable .
Our only issue was that it said that the beach is 5 minutes away and it took us half n hour to walk there .
Apart from that it had everything we needed

Loved, loved, loved this cottage. So comfy, quite location, nicely decorated, well equipped. Only thing was that doors were squeaky (as well as floorboards), but nothing that a can of WD40 wouldn’t fix 🤣🤣🤣

A quaint little cottage, a perfect location to explore the local beaches. The accommodation had everything we needed and felt very homely. We were delighted to get into the property a little earlier and the welcome treat was perfect. Sad to leave but would love to return in the future. Thank you 'Moongazer'

Quite location
Lovely quiet location and the cottage was clean and well equipped with all you would need. Handy for all the amenities Heacham has to offer. Shame about the silly situation with the "neighbour" not allowing access to the parking area but we could park in the road easily enough.

Super holiday
Moongazer Cottage was delightful, with everything there you could need for a week's holiday. We were left lovely scones on our arrival and our spaniel enjoyed his treats. The village was nice, and the great beach within walking distance. We visited lots of beautiful beaches in North Norfolk plus some dog friendly cafes and pubs. A very enjoyable stay all round. Definitely recommend. Thank you. Jane and Adrian

Moongazer cottage Heacham
We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage which was well equipped and well situated with lots of lovely beaches and walks nearby. There were lots of thoughtful touches such as home cooked scones and dog treats when we arrived. The cottage owners are at present having a dispute with a neighbouring property about parking so we were not able to park on the drive of the property. This was not a problem at all for us during our stay as the High Street was very quiet and we were always able to park just opposite the property.
All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

We miss you Moongazer Cottage
From start to finish Anna & John we’re welcoming hosts, with excellent correspondence and personal touches that made our arrival and stay extra special.
The cottage itself was so cosy and very well equipped with everything we needed and has a pretty garden which is lovely to enjoy any meal in the sunshine. Everything in the cottage was spotlessly clean, it truly was a home from home.
Heacham is a warm & friendly place with a few essential shops and pubs all within walking distance, plus a super beach around the corner too, where we saw a stunning sunset.
There is so much to see and do in the local area, we don’t feel like we even scratched the surface, so will most definitely be back to stay at Moongazer again soon :-)

Charming Cottage, parking an issue
Moongazer is a charming cottage, with stylish soft furnishings on various levels with steep stairs.
Whilst the property was advertised has having parking for 2 cars, a legal issue has arisen with a neighbour which means you can’t park on the drive. There is free parking available down one side of the High Street, which is fine except when there are high winds as the front door doesn’t shut securely unless locked, so blew open and my dogs ran out into the road following me whilst unloading the car. A pretty scary incident and thankfully the passing car stopped.
The Hosts were extremely apologetic of the parking situation, but this wasn’t ideal for my family.
Having said that, the Cottage is in a great location for touring North West Norfolk, 6 min walk to Tesco Express and there are plenty of take away’s within the village. A delicious bakery treat is awaiting your arrival. Little extras for the dogs was a lovely touch, along with thoughtful additions such as dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and clothing detergent. Towels were super soft and bedding crisp. I would definitely return once the parking issue has been resolved.

Lovely quiet and well appointed ..
Very much enjoyed our stay from the home baked scones to the check out system. Quiet location about 15 minutes from beaches and from there can walk to Hunstanton and beyond. Small but very well designed and has everything needed.

Lovely Cottage in a Great Location
We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay at Moongazer. It's in a great location to explore north Norfolk with a fabulous beach on the doorstep. The furniture and all the facilities are of a high standard and as advertised. Our small dog accompanied us, and it was great to find it so dog friendly with throws, a towel, bowels, poo bags and treats left for him. It was a nice surprise to find delicious fresh scones, cream and strawberry jam awaiting our arrival in the kitchen! Thank you for everything.

Gorgeous cozy cottage
Beautifully decorated and very well equipped little cottage. Has everything you need. The welcoming touches were really lovely and thoughtful - everything needed for our cockapoo and home baking for us. Lots of communication from Anna and John - excellent hosts.
Our daughter came with us at the last minute and it’s quite cosy for 3 adults but the fabulous weather and being able to use the garden was great. Perfectly situated to enjoy North Norfolk. Thoroughly recommend

Lovely break
We had a super week in this cosy cottage in the quiet village of Heacham. The property was in excellent condition with everything you need for a week away provided. It was a little further from the beach than we had hoped but with so many magnificent beaches only a short drive away this was not a major issue.

Cosy cottage in a great location for exploring North Norfolk
Anna and John are the perfect hosts! Although we were unable to meet them in person, they stayed in regular contact with us before, and during our stay. The cottage is perfect for a family of 4, cosy, very clean and really well equipped. It's a 15min walk to the beach. Holkham, Wells Next The Sea, Brancaster Staithe, Burnham Market and Old Hunstanton are definitely worth visiting. Lots of lovely walks and delicious ice creams. Eric's fish and chips at Thornham is a must! Take your own drinks :)
