About this house rental
Welcome to Paradise! Our incredible log home is built on 60 acres, sleeps 24, and is perfect for a family reunion or a group of friends who wish to escape the craziness of the city and suburbs together. A seamless fusion of rustic charm and exquisite luxury, the estate has a private lake with a deck, a gazebo, heated pool, hot tub, tennis court, and absolute privacy. Professionally cleaned after each stay.
The estate also has very fast internet! Up to 1GB which is the highest you can get in any place around. Upload speeds can go up to 500MBPS and download speeds are 900MPBS.
The space
The home offers 9 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms and plenty of space for up to 26 people to stay very comfortably. The entire house has a natural ambiance, from the golden-brown wood that forms the walls and ceiling, to the unique wood logs used to make the beds, to the tasteful rustic decorations, all with luxury in mind.
Outside is a lake that is fed by two natural sources, the water is clean! A hot tub is also available for your enjoyment. A large deck has a BBQ for the grill master in your group and has incredible views of the lake, and a fire pit for burning wood that you can find in the nearby forest. A tennis court is also available for the athletes, and there is a gazebo for relaxing.
The swimming pool is next to the house, surrounded by a lovely stone patio and furniture for your relaxation and enjoyment!
We also just recently made a 2 mile trail on the property! It circles the entire property and is completely private. It’s great to get your daily walk in and of course spend time with family and friends.
The kitchen has new state-of-the-art appliances, granite countertops, and is stocked with everything you need to keep your crew well fed and happy.
The family room has a large fireplace with plenty of places to store wood, and the lower level has a large game room that has a pool table, poker table, knock hockey, chess sets and a dartboard. There are also a couple of bars in the home from which to serve everyone their favorite beverages. This home was designed to ensure maximum enjoyment and entertainment for all its guests.
The house has two master bedrooms with in-suite bedrooms, one is located above the garage with its own gorgeous bathroom, living area and privacy, the second is the main house and has an amazing bathroom and balcony.
The Perfect Day
Wake up and put on a pot of coffee, and watch as the new day announces itself as the caffeine warms and wake you up, all the while taking in the view of the gorgeous private lake. Use the fresh eggs you purchased at a local farm to make egg sandwiches, or omelets, or scrambled eggs, along with some fresh berries or other fruit.
Here in winter? Then get ready for a fun day of skiing! Head to the slopes to shred some late morning snow, then have lunch at home (you’re close enough!) or find a nice bistro for a sandwich. After you have rested those legs, head on back to the slopes for an afternoon session.
If you are here in the spring, summer or fall, grab those clubs and hit the link, or your fishing pole and test your skills as an angler on the best lakes and river that Vermont has to offer. Do you like to support local artists? There are plenty of art galleries and shops to find that next perfect piece for your home. There are also wineries and breweries to tour, if that is more your speed.
Once the day starts to conclude, it is time for games! Deal out the cards for a Texas Hold’em poker tournament, or rack up the pool table with bragging rights on the line. For those looking to relax, serve a round of your group’s favorite beverages as you and your group have lovely conversation on the large outdoor deck or in the gazebo, or while soaking your muscles in the hot tub. Or you can start a fire in the outdoor firepit and reminisce about the memories you have just made while you snack on some treats while watching as the delightful Vermont sunset announces the conclusion of the day.
If you are a writer or painter, the property is absolutely fantastic to minimizing distractions, providing vistas for inspiration, and plenty of places to set up the typewriter to start the next great American novel. Put on a little background music, and get creating!

Our group was 18 people ranging from 2-81. We have stayed in VRBO before. By far this home was one of the best. They had everything you needed. They supplied all the necessities like soap, shampoo, paper towels and more. I only mention that because we have stayed places that supplied very minimal if at all. We asked Sajo for a recommendation for a chef. He gave us the number of David Christopher who prepared an amazing farm to table menu. It was amazing! We would definitely go back!

Can't say enough good things about the house, the property, and our week of vacation. So much space and so many things to do - we used them all! The pool and the lake were fantastic. The swimming in the lake was amazing (and the kayaks too!). The tennis court was great for both our tennis players and our pickleball players. The game room was a hit with the younger kids especially. Special mention is needed for the hiking trail which we used every day of the trip, sometimes twice per day (my personal favorite). Huge open room was great every evening where all 15 of us gathered for dinner. The house had every thing you could ask for provided. Some vacation listings say that, but this one really meant it - everything you could need was there. Add to that fast, courteous, and friendly communication with The Music's and you couldn't ask for more. Thank you for sharing your amazing house and property with us!

This was our second year at this property. Our family included 20 (children, teens and adults). The house and grounds are spectacular with activities to satisfy all (pool, hot tub, tennis, lake, etc.). The common kitchen, dining and den area is especially conducive to family togetherness while there are many options for privacy and alone time. The bedrooms are great with enough settings to satisfy all. The decks are large and were much used. The large outside dining table was a big plus. Management and housekeeping were excellent. We totally enjoyed our second year here and are looking forward to a third.

The house and property were perfect for our large family ages 6-80. Tons of space and amenities. Thought we’d spend most our time in the pool, turns out it was the lake. Good communication by host and overall a wonderful experience.

We enjoyed a fantastic weekend at this property. Our group was 25 adults and the property was able to comfortably accommodate the group. The home is equipped with numerous activities for groups and is designed for a great stay. The outdoor space was amazing - spacious and full of options for fun.
The hosts were incredibly communicative and accommodating. The check in/out processes were easy and our group felt comfortable during our stay.
I would recommend this property to anyone.

We had a fantastic weekend! Beautiful property, tons to do for adults and kids! We would definitely come again.

Sajo was very responsive and accommodating, it was a beautiful property close to the mountain where people who wanted to ski could make the short drive to Stratton or Bromley and the people who wanted to stay could enjoy a relaxing day.

Great house for a group of multiple families!

Thoroughly enjoyed a new years visit with family. The property felt like a cozy cabin but in a spacious house where everyone had their own space. We especially loved the evening fires and the Music hiking trail.
Easy access to many ski hills . Thank you !!

Had a great weekend in Peru! Couldn’t have asked for anything more. Great house on a beautiful property

Beautiful property. The pond was a game-changer for the kids. It's filtered and tested regularly which I thought was amazing. Hosts are very responsive. We had bad weather for half of our stay and there was still enough space and activities for all guests to feel comfortable and children to stay occupied. Great for a large family, company outing, wedding...etc...
Thank you to the Music Family.

My family has been holding reunions for 10 - 20 people at VRBOs in the US and England for years. I believe this one is the overall first place winner. It's exactly as billed. For us, the best parts were the pool, the pond for fishing (two kids caught their first-ever fish there, Brook and Brown trout), the 60 acre property, the spacious interior rooms, lots of activities for kids (billiard table, foosball table), tennis court. And then there is the lovely Vermont summer weather. We hope to come back soon. We met the owners - very nice people.

This is the 2nd summer we have stayed at Sajo’s beautiful property. With 3 married kids and 8 grandkids, we are 16, which fit easily into the expansive house. It is beautifully equipped. We swam, kayaked and paddleboated in the pond. The pool and hot tub were used aplenty. Tennis, pickle ball, and basketball on the tennis court, ping pong in the garage, pool table all were used. We hardly ever left the property, other than for groceries, and a few hours of entertainment at Bromley just down the road.
Sajo is a fabulous host, and the house is equipped with everything we could possibly need. A great experience, which is why we came back!!

Amazing home and property provided for an extremely memorable vacation. We (kids, grandkids) had a blast swimming in the pool and pond, hiking the trail, playing pickle ball and admiring the stars around the fire pit. No one wanted to leave
Sajo and his family were amazing hosts

This home was perfect for our large family vacation! Plenty of things to do for all ages in our group 2years old to 74 years old! Would definitely recommend!

Our family vacation included ages 3 through adult. The house and property is extremely well suited for a large group with excellent amenities for all ages. During our stay we experienced bad weather which was not an issue for us because the house itself offers space and activities for all. The property manager was very responsive and communications were excellent.

The log house is big, beautiful, clean, and full of things to do! Ping pong, football, pool, poker/cards, games, puzzles, 3 huge TVs for rainy days and we had a few.
Outside we enjoyed the pool, hot tub, lake with a kayak, canoe and paddle boat, the tennis court, challenging hiking trail and lots of decks.
The Musics were welcoming and available. We had a great vacation!

As advertised, beautiful setting, beautiful house, outstanding grounds. Our grandchildren loved the pool and the pond, tennis courts and game room. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub. Our family of 18 easily accommodated and the hosts were very responsive.

Lovely home and property. The house is well appointed
- and there are multiple rooms with multiple activities - so, nice to have space to be together, and be in small clusters.
The grounds are magnificent- and there’s plenty to do - such that for a long weekend, we barely left the property.
Sajo is a delight to deal with. Very responsive and helpful.

I don't even want to rate this as highly as it deserves for fear someone else will book it and we will miss out. Will absolutely find an excuse to come back to this house. Excellent experience all around.

We greatly appreciate the opportunity to stay in such a great space for large groups. We were three families whose kids played musical beds, in the snowy backyard, skied at Stratton (easy drive), ate in darling Manchester and relaxed in the hot tub at the end of the day. Plenty of space for our groceries, clutter, laundry needs and wine! It would be great to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake.

We rented for a large group with kids for a ski getaway to Stratton. House is very comfortable, plenty of games to keep the kids busy and a 22 min drive to Stratton Mountain. One tip is to have a 4wheel drive vehicle in the winter if expecting snow.. It snowed while there and the house/driveway was plowed very quickly. Host was very communicative and helpful. Highly recommend!

This was our third stay at this property and we had another fantastic time! It is an ideal getaway for our multi-generational family. We skied (Stratton, Okemo and Bromley), walked the trails and warmed up by the fire and in the hot tub. The cabin-like atmosphere and décor really let you know that you are away and relaxing. The owner is super responsive and excellent to work with.

We went during the coldest weekend of the year and the property was still amazing. Sajo was very responsive and communicated timely with any questions.

Beautiful property and the home has the absolute perfect layout for a big group. Multiple living areas and the bedrooms are large and spacious. Sanjo was so easy to communicate with and was always available to help. I highly reccomend both the home and the area. You will not be disapointed

Our stay at the property was wonderful! Fully stocked kitchen and plenty of space to fit a large group of friends/ family for our annual ski weekend. Beds were very comfortable and communication was wonderful from our host. We definitely plan on returning if we get the chance to again! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This house was perfect for Bromley ski house. First, the house was stocked with everything you would need or want. Second, the bedroom set up was ideal for three families (with 9 kids ranging from 4 years old to 12 years old). Perhaps most importantly, it truly is 5 minutes from the base of Bromley. So it is easy to pop back and forth depending on the preferences of your group. And even go home for lunch if you prefer. We will definitely stay there again on our next trip to Bromley.

We truly enjoyed our experience! The house was clean, comfortable and very welcoming. The owners were excellent to work with. The home is the ideal location and setting for a family vacation.

Easy to use, well supplied kitchen, flexible property for a variety of activities. The tennis court has its own lighting!! Comfortable beds. Some bedrooms far enough away from the living area that folks can stay up and others can go to bed. Lots of natural light.

The Music's house was more than we could have asked for and made for the perfect weekend home away from home. Thank you!

I rented this property with 9 other adult family members and it was an amazing time. The Musics’ home is incredibly accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and tennis court where we played a lot of pickle ball, even at night since the overhead lights illuminated the entire court, which was a nice surprise. We’d love to come back again in the middle of summer to enjoy the pool more or in the winter for skiing.

If you're on the fence about booking this property, do it! We couldn't have asked for a better weekend! Our group particularly loved the pool, tennis court, hot tub, and hiking trail but that doesn't even scratch the surface for all of the activities offered. Sajo is an amazing host and made the whole process a breeze, we hope to be back again soon!

The property is just as represented. It has a huge number of activities, tennis, badminton, volleyball, swimming, hiking, you name it and it was available.

Another Amazing Stay!
This is our 2nd stay at this property and it was once again wonderful! Clean, beautiful property and the hosts are very responsive! Our family enjoyed every minute!

Terrific family gathering
We gathered our 8 grandkids (ages 5 to 14), along with our 3 grown kids and spouses (16 of us) at this beautiful spot in VT. The house had plenty of space for all, and was outfitted with more than enough to keep all of us entertained. We spent most of the week on the property with its beautiful pond, kayaks, paddle boat, great pool (we swam as much in the pond as the pool). The kids could shoot baskets, we all played tennis. For the little bit of rain we had the ping pong table, pool table, fooz ball - all were well used. And plenty of space to find a quiet spot when needed!
Kitchen well equipped, 3 washer/dryer sets.
The owner thought of everything, and responded quickly to any questions. It couldn’t have been a nicer vacation for our large gathering, with all hoping we can do it again!

Our family of 15 had a good time. There was lots to enjoy and we were blessed with beautiful weather. The house could use some updating and it wasn't as clean as we would like. But overall it was a positive experience. Surprised by the cost but maybe that's the market price.
