We enjoyed our stay at Pelican 605. It was clean and the view was wonderful. We did have a problem with the dishwasher that was able to have a temporary fix until a new one could be put in after our stay. The response to our problem was very quick. We gave it a 4 for location because you weren’t able to walk around to many locations due to traffic and current construction. Maybe a sidewalk is being put in that would make that easier. The condo itself was very nice and the pools were wonderful!

This place was amazing!!!!! The pool area was awesome! My kids loved it!!! You can walk to restaurants and shops! Very well located!! We came for baseball tournament, but was able to find time for pool/beach/family time!! Highly recommend this condo!!! Stunning views, very clean, beautiful and had everything you need! We would definitely stay in this condo again!!! Very spacious master bedroom and bathroom! The kids loved the bunk beds! One of the cleanest condos we have ever stayed in!! Lots to do in Destin- only 7 minutes away is Harbor Village- lots of things to do! Our friends recommended Sea Blaster- sunset dolphin cruise- 10/10!!!! So much fun!! If you are looking for a beautiful condo- definitely stay here:)!

Great condo decor and comfortable beds. Liked the pool view. The beach is not a bad walk at all to a private beach . Rental chairs available to purchase. Clean and with plenty of room. Kitchen supplied with all u need to cook . A/c works great. I found the blankets in the guest bedroom closet during our stay . Close to some great food . I would stay here again

The condo was clean, beautifully decorated, and well maintained. The balcony view was nice of the bay side and lazy river. The elevator wasn’t too busy during our stay for getting to the skywalk to access the beach side with wagon/kids. The proximity to the boardwalk for dining and shopping was nice and convenient. Thanks for a great stay!

My family & I stayed at Destin West-Pelican 605 for a week this summer for vacation. We had the absolute best time! The condo was spotless & the view over looking the lazy river & bay was amazing! Especially at night when that area was lit up! If you have little ones the lazy river is sure to be a hit with them as well as the adults! :) All the staff we came in contact with at Destin West were very friendly & super helpful if we had any questions. We will be back! You can not go wrong booking your next vacation with Coastal Vibe Vacations as they were very great to work with & helped make our stay enjoyable!!!!

We had lovely stay. Check in and out was as easy as it gets. Unit was clean and comfortable. My tall son appreciated the bigger size bottom bunk. Convenient to the elevator but not at all loud. Great place!

This was our first experience at a Condo and this was the best experience we've ever had on vacation. We would love to return again in the future!! It was quiet, clean, comfortable, inviting, convenient, and just beautiful!!! It was so nice to have a beach wagon available loaded with chairs, umbrella and boogie boards for our girls. The beach, sand, and weather were absolutely wonderful during our stay. We were able to get groceries when we arrived at an awesome grocery store only minutes away, as well as the liquor store. We were able to get a few supplies for the kitchen/bathroom, and we were good to go for the rest of the week. FIVE STARS!!! Thank you for such an amazing stay...!!

The condo was fresh and clean. The basics it provided were exactly as described in the listing. The view of the lazy river was so pretty! We loved the proximity to the more local- feeling restaurants in Fort Walton Beach. The drive to Destin is quick midday, but avoid the drive during the long rush hours!

This is our 5th time staying in the Pelican building and I can say this unit was an absolute dream to rent. The owners thought of everything for an enjoyable stay, it was neat, clean and uncluttered. There was only 3 of us but if there had been someone to sleep in the bunk, the bottom bed is a full size, AMAZING. It is a bit smaller than the previous 8 sleeper unit we stayed in, but all of the furniture was proportional and would've suited 8 guests perfectly. This unit was right in front of the elevator which was convenient. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks Coastal Vibes!!!

Loved this condo! It was a perfect location convenient to both the pools, lazy river and the beautiful gulf side beach. There was no shortage of things to in the area. The condo was very clean, well-stocked and nicely decorated with beachy decor in every room. We really appreciated the wagon, chairs and pool toys provided for the beach. I was very impressed with how responsive Coastal Vibes was throughout the entire process. They provided us with everything we needed to know before our trip. We will definitely book with them again!

Our first time staying at Destin West and it was wonderful! The room was exactly as described and as the pictures showed. Any questions we had were answered quickly. The pools and lazy river were so great! We booked beach umbrellas and chairs before we went so they already had our name on them every morning. The room had a wagon to take all of our stuff to the beach, which was so helpful! Never had any issues finding parking. Just an overall great experience!

We had a great stay at the Destin West-Pelican 605 unit. The view of the bay and pool area is beautiful! The condo was clean, nicely decorated, and well supplied. The only thing I found disappointing was that the closet in the master bedroom was locked and not usable. As a vacation rental owner myself, I understand the owners needing locked closet space, but I would suggest adding some type of hanging space somewhere in the bedroom.

The cleaning folks hadn't done a very good job with the floors nor one bathroom. We called management and they had someone there the next day (we cleaned everything in the mean time). The place was comfortable and very well situated. The Grandkids had a blast going from beach to pool to other pool; as did the rest of us.

Had a great time during our stay. Condo was very nice and clean. Only negative was one day there were painters painting the outside trim and the door entrance to the condo. We were not notified this was going to happen and when we opened the door ( from the inside), unfortunately I was not aware and brushed against the door and my shorts and shoes now have paint on them that cannot be removed. In addition, one of the painters became very belligerent when I questioned him about the incident. Other than this one incident our stay was very enjoyable.

This was a very spacious condo with a wonderful view of the bay and the lazy river/pool area below. It was even more impressive at night with all the lights on. Highly recommend especially for families with children.

We had a really lovely family vacation. The hosts were great communicators. The resort accommodations were very nice for a family with young kids. Easy walk to the beach from the bay side and a really convenient drive from the airport. We loved the pools and lazy river. The only little thing was that the flooring wasn’t the cleanest upon arrival. I had to mop the floors myself to avoid tracking the dirt and sand which was a little disappointing but there was a vacuum and a mop available. We would definitely book again.

Great condo with beautiful bay views. This condo has been recently updated and stocked with everything anyone would need for a fantastic beach vacation. The owners have taken great pride in giving their guests a home away from home feeling. I have rented from coastal vibes / mountain vibes for some time now and you can always rely on a seamless arrival and checkout process and an excellent quality of rentals! Not only was Pelican 605 beautiful, what I loved most about the Coastal Vibe Vacations / VRBO booking was the communication during the entire stay. All information was given WHEN it was needed. Check-in procedures before check-in, simple and to-the-point reminders during the stay and the check-out procedures prior to leaving. All brief and easy. We will definitely see if Pelican 605 is available on future trips!
