This 1940s cottage in historic downtown New Port Richey has 2 bedroom, 1 bath and a dining / game room. Each bedroom has 1 queen bed and a lazy boy sleeper sofa in the living room. The historic home is beautifully decorated in country/ Victorian Decor. The full kitchen has microwave, dishwasher, ice maker fullyequipped with all the necessary utensils needed to make a a variety of meals. Blender, Coffee Pot(filters supplied), washer/dryer Toaster all to use. Two Smart TV to use for Roku or access your favorite series on Apps. The front porch is a relaxing space to read or sit on the rocking chairs and enjoy the breeze that rushes through the historic downtown. Bicycles are provided to ride and explore Sims Park, or an adventure down Grand Blvd along the river(dolphins sited frequently). Main St is 2 blocks over, walking distance with a library, restaurants, a rooftop bar/restaurant, Irish pub, ice cream, health food market, craft brewery’s and more. Take your vacation here and you will not be disappointed in all the area has to offer. Boat ramp with trailer parking is less than a mile in the center of town. Boat rentals and bait shops near by. Small RV and boat parking on property available. Please let us know if you have questions as we are residents of the area for over 30 yrs. Owners have six other vacation rental properties in the same area. Each one has mostly five star reviews check them out please. 2044623 / 1999233 / 3209347 / 3150907/ 3217332/ 2714498. The last time we checked, this rental is the closest one to the center of the city!! NOTE: ******This cottage has a seperate detached studio rental also, it is completely separate and nothing is shared. Parking for the studio is in the backyard Accessed by an ally way and the cottage will have Exclusive use of the paved driveway. Both units have their own private outdoor seating area with seperate grills!! The owners live very very close by so if you need anything you’re only a phone call or a text away. YOU MUST ADHERE to the cities strict noise ordinance. Neighbors are friendly and elderly on a quiet street. ***As always your furry friends are welcome to stay! Please be sure to pay the pet fee as our cleaning company charges me an extra fee. ****PLEASE NOTE: we have a separate studio behind this cottage that is also listed on vrbo. Nothing is shared with the cottage, the paved driveway is for cottage renters only. The studio has its own separate parking in the back of the studio Accessible from an alleyway. This studio is is about the same distance from the cottage as from the neighbors next door. Here is the studio listing number #2714498. If you need more space inquire with me about renting the studio I will do it at a discounted rate if you are also renting the front cottage.

Loved this location, numerous activities to do and close to downtown; can walk to restaurants and beautiful park! Would return to New Port Richey in the future; Patrick was prompt with his replies and most accommodating. Property was decorated in a farm theme with basic essentials. Some of the photos could be updated to show current furnishings. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Our place made us feel like we were at home. We like how centrally located it was to everything. It was very homey with lovely decorations throughout the house. "Our" house was clean and had all the items we needed for a comfortable week stay.

The 2 BR cottage is quite comfortable and has a yard that was great for our 2 Chiahuahuas. The bathroom and kitchen are functional with nice appliances and a good shower. There is a separate dining room with a washer/dryer.
Easy walking distance to restaurants and a very nice park with egrets, ducks and squirrels which had our dogs quite intrigued.
The host is local and very responsive though we didn't encounter any urgent issues during our stay. The cottage is ideal for a couple and children and/or dogs.

Very clean and nicely decorated cottage in a quiet neighborhood. We were there for a week. We used the cottage as a 'home base' while looking for waterfront property. It was so nice to come home to each evening to rest after long days of driving around the west coast of Florida. We had our little dog with us. We loved that we could walk a few blocks to the adorable downtown area of New Port Richey with her for dinner. There are a lot of dog friendly restaurants. The cottage was mostly well equipped for cooking although we only made breakfast. The host was very quick in responses to our questions. We would definitely stay there again.

I feel the house was just as advertized, just what I expected. Nice location, close to downtown, easy to walk into town. Didn't have much luck finding a close by nice beach, but I kind of knew that. Reasonable rate, the pups enjoyed it too. Would stay there again for sure.

Very Easy to find and move in, we stayed for a mpnth because we were in search of our own property to buy, for long term stay the sofa was unconfortable but owner said it would be changed out, the toilet was to small and owner change out to newer style , we found the beds to be somewhat hard for long stay but not unconforable , your own bed is always better lol ,we found the uptown short walks very fun epsecially when we found small puppy for sale needing our help ,wish i could show pictures , it was not as hot as all who told us, we set at the Whisley Joes tiki bar and found a breeze almost eveyday, Pat was very very helpful in leaving cleaning supplies and items, we had to purchase some to liking , his shower was tiles and easy to use , parking was always easy , the only thing we missed was a pool . lol the little cottage was cute and had all the conforts of your home dishes toaster , washer dryer easy acess, floors easy to maintain, window blinds easy to use if needed
the extra sheets to wash and clean in long stay were nice closets plenty of room, epesially loved the bathroom sink and shelving space , the only thig i would want is maybe an above ground pool and a possible 4 inich sponge in closet to add to bed for preference , we loved Cristini 's breakafast place and we loved how dog freindly the town was! you can take your pet anywheres ! we did not purchase home but know this is the area we want to be in, Thank you Pat for the use of your cottage it reminded me of ours in Indiaina , and your home swimmng poo; for a day that was so thoughtful,

Lovely cottage feel
Myself and 13 year old daughter stayed here for a staycation as we are from the area. We loved the country cottage feel to this 2 bedroom home with all the furnishings of home . The bathroom (my favorite ) was so cute !!!!check in was super easy and great communication from owner .I would definitely rent from this owner again.

Quaint & Cozy
I selected this property for a short getaway with my parents, looking for something that allowed easy access to town and gave us the chance to have some meals at the house, including grilling. Everything was nice and easy to use in the house. The bedrooms were very comfy and the front porch was perfect for morning coffee. Also, I selected this rental due to it being pet-friendly, as I have a diabetic cat that doesn’t do well with strangers/boarding. I was very pleased to find access to a broom and vacuum in the house so I could clean up after my pet.
Patrick was excellent with communication. He had a repair being done before our arrival and kept me informed the whole time, including checking the house before our check-in to make sure the work was completed and any mess from the repair was cleaned up.

Cozy Cottage on Central Avenue
This cozy house is just as it is shown, well equipped, adorably decorated, very comfortable, and within walking distance of downtown New Port Richey. I love the front porch and the comfy rocking chair. Patrick was the ideal landlord, always helpful and kind without ever being intrusive. My three months there were just what I needed to get away from the northern winter and to rest and recharge. I had visitors who were very impressed with the Cozy Cottage on Central Avenue. If I could give it ten stars, I would!
