Our family had a winter getaway at this well equipped kiwi bach. The rooms were cosy with comfortable beds and the living area was large and supported group gatherings. Log fire and views were amazing. Pictures didn’t do it justice and will definitely return in the summertime.

We loved having the sandy beach only a few metres from the large deck at the front of the house. Sadly there was a bit of a storm and quite a lot of rain when we stayed so we weren’t able to sit outside on the deck, but the lounge and dining area was comfy and spacious and we enjoyed watching the storm rage outside!!
Even at low tide there is a lovely view from the house. It would be a very safe place for kids to play and swim. A total plus for us was being able to take our dog and go for walks on the beach.
The house was very clean and the kitchen was very well equipped.
The only downside for us is that there weren’t 2 queen side beds inside the house, but that’s only our personal preference. There was a second queen size bed in the sleepout. The large sleepout was very well insulated with plywood walls and new carpet.
This was a really nice place to relax and I’d like to come back some time.

We enjoyed the location, and were grateful for the fireplace and wood over a stormy long weekend. The house was pretty damp and musty when we arrived. The kitchen was well equipped.
