About this house rental
This apartment has everything you need to make yourself at home. Private entrance and staircase, fully stocked kitchen with new appliances and granite countertops, ski rack, and full-size laundry facilities are just the beginning.
Our home was built in 1970 but the basement was updated and remodeled in 2017. In 2019 we added a kitchen and converted it into a beautiful vacation rental for you. We use non-toxic cleaners, provide natural care products, and limit VOCs so you can breathe easy and relax in good health during your stay.
We are in a quiet neighborhood, walking distance from a public library and Trax station (blue line), and, of course, a 7-Eleven. We're also a short drive (or slightly longer walk) to movie theaters, restaurants, malls, an escape room, entertainment and recreation centers, Real Salt Lake soccer stadium, Mountain America Expo Center, the Jordan River trail, and several churches. As we are close to I-15 and I-215, it's only 20 minutes to the airport, downtown, or the peace and serenity of the mountains, and 30 minutes to four different ski resorts.
Come check us out! Stay for a night or a month. We're happy to have you!
P.S.: We have two cats, and although we try to keep them out of the basement, there have been sightings. As such, we can't guarantee it to be free of cat allergens, if that is of concern to you.
P.P.S.: You will almost certainly hear footsteps, vacuuming, piano playing, talking, and other noises above your head. We lead a pretty low-key life, but some of our floor joists are creaky and sound transfer is inevitable. We're sorry if it disturbs your serenity. We hope you are still willing to try us out, but we thought you should know about that up front. We do provide ear plugs to minimize the inconvenience.

Julie's rental was so clean, well stocked kitchen, nice bedding, nice touches. It felt so homey and welcoming. Not easy to do with a basement. It was clear how much time and effort she puts into making a welcoming space for visitors.

The apartment is extremely comfortable and pleasant. It has everything you could need. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and basics like oil, spices etc. Julie is a super attentive host as well. We stayed here for a snowboard vacation. It was the perfect place to come back to and relax at the end of the day.

If I could give 6 stars I would.
This is an exceptional apartment due to the sum of all the small niceties that Julie has provided in addition to fastidious cleanliness and comfort of the stay.
Really? Small flashlights on each headboard? A bathroom basket of toothbrushes, toothpaste, CHAPSTICKS for cryin' out loud. Small details everywhere you look. A fully outfitted kitchen with every implement, place settings and cookware, spices, and cooking necessities imaginable. Breakfast goodies to boot!
Comfortable beds, cozy living room with recliner couch, big screen TV. An information looseleaf binder full of helpful hints. I could go on and on.
Thank you Julie for hosting us. We'll definitely reach out on our next SLC ski trip!

Amazing property
Stay was very relaxing, warm and inviting. Julie thought of everything and has anything you may have forgotten at home available if you need it. There is a book in how to run the appliances and TV. There is flyers in a binder with things to do and places to go. Very enjoyable and will definitely stay again if I'm in Salt Lake again.

Immaculately clean and cozy
The property is kept in pristine condition and has all the amenities to make it feel like home. All natural products were amply provided. Extra large and fluffy towels, plenty of extra pillows, and a soft billowy comforter on the bed made it feel luxurious. Easy private entry was nice, even a dedicated driveway for guests. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and cookware as well as a large selection of spices and basic condiments. Fun surprises were microwave popcorn, healthy oatmeal and protein snacks. It was very useful to have two bathrooms. The TV setup was very nice with comfortable recliners. It’s really a perfect gem of a find! It has great freeway access and is near many restaurants and grocery. Highly recommend for a getaway!

Very comfortable, excellent base for multi-mountain ski vacation!
I'll start by saying, we couldn't have had a better stay.
4 of our family had a very long flight in with nothing but Goldfish and water, opened the door using the keycode, walked down the stairs, and smelled baked goods and thought how odd. As we placed our bags in the rooms, my wife peaked under a towel on the kitchen counter to find a home cooked loaf of bread, still warm. It tasted like manna from heaven.
It got better from there. This VRBO was recently refinished, and very well thought out for guests. So many little details that we wouldn't have thought of, but were grateful for after 5 days straight snowboarding in hip deep powder. Little, but very important things, like a snowbrush, that our rental car didn't come with (so sorry Julie, I forgot to return it). And a heating pad for the old man's back.
Beds were very comfortable, space was very clean, everything you'd need in a kitchen for staying in and cooking, like we like to do after a hard day on the slopes. It literally just felt like home.
We picked this spot for its convenient access to LCC and BCC mountains, Also close to downtown SLC and all necessary shopping.
I'll finish by saying, we couldn't have had a better stay.
