This trip was for a concert at Red Rocks. The location was perfect for everything. We took the train that is about 2 blocks away from house and takes you right down to the ballpark area. Also several nice locations for food and drinks within 3 blocks or less. Red Rocks was only 15 to 20 minutes away. The house had everything you need in the kitchen and bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable. Would definately stay here again.

Great location and very well stocked kitchen. We were also grateful for the toy room!

Charming house in a great location. When we were not out enjoying sights and sounds elsewhere, we enjoyed being within walking distance of all Olde Town has to offer.

We had a great week at this property. The location is perfect for walking to dinner. The house was very clean and well stocked with household items that aren’t typical of most rentals! Will definitely stay here again!

Our family of four loved our stay in this tastefully renovated historic home. The short walk to the adorable Old Towne downtown Arvada was amazing. We enjoyed a restaurant, coffee shop and ice cream, thanks to the suggestions left by Kate, our host. Living in a non-touristy residential neighborhood was a nice contrast to Estes Park, which was our next destination. We loved both, just for different reasons. This Arvada home, while not "in the mountains" was a great homebase for scenic drives up through the mountains, hikes, to Red Rock, etc. Kate, the owner, was very responsive and flexible, which I appreciated. I highly recommend The Piano House, and would stay here again for sure! (and the piano was also a cool feature!)

The “Old Piano House” was a quaint and charming old house steps away from Old Town Arvada. We loved it! House was clean and beds were comfortable. We were visiting our son and his family with our other adult children. Being in walking distance to Old Town restaurants, bars and shops made our family vacation so much fun. We also took the train to Denver. Convenient location with lots to do within walking distance. Highly recommend! Five people and never ran out of hot water (my husband insisted i add this :)

We have stayed here other times and enjoy the central yet quiet location, the comfortable beds, the pleasant and accommodating owner and having a porch with a swing.

This little house was immaculate and very well-stocked. The location was so great also! We were able to walk to all the shops and restaurants in Olde Town easily. Our group of 4 loved our stay!

The house is a short walk to downtown Arvada. It was the perfect location for our trip!

This is a great location within walking distance of historic downtown. Amenities were clean and the beds were comfy. I especially appreciated the hot water, big towels, and having enough kitchen supplies to prep our own meals.

This is our second time staying here. The host is friendly and responsive. The place is super clean and close to everything but on a quiet street. Beds are comfortable and we appreciate the large, fair-trade chocolate bars!

Would highly recommend! Great location for getting to other local activities such as Red Rock and Pikes Peak.

We were in the Denver area for a couple of shows at Red Rocks and this was the perfect accommodation for our group of 5. Short drive to Red Rocks, GREAT coffee shop a couple blocks away, a variety of restaurants in easily walkable distance and that perfect porch+porch swing, made for a perfect weekend!

Logistics for dropping our son off for a team retreat prior to his college move-in day had us in need of a place to stay for the better part of the week. The location of this home was perfect, allowing walking, shopping, and a great jumping off point for tourist activities.

Piano House
Nice quiet neighborhood a few blocks from down town Arvada. Reminded me of visiting my grandparent’s house, with the house type and style. Appreciated list of things to do for day trips and helpful info on the community. Very welcoming feel to the property. We would stay again!

Convenient location
Our favorite spot in the house was the front porch. Loved sitting out there. Stinks we couldn’t use the backyard, and there was limited comfortable seating in the living room for a group of 6, but it was a comfortable stay otherwise! Older than expected, but we couldn’t have had a better location!

We loved staying here! The location next to old town can’t be beat. Thanks for taking such good care of us! We had everything we needed to be comfortable and enjoy a great stay. The beds were comfortable, linens nice, layout great for a group. The property owner was so helpful and responsive. The historic details are so fun! Great job on the renovation. Thanks for the yummy chocolate too.

First thing to note is that the owner (Kate) contacted me the day before arrival to let us know there was some construction going on with the house next door. She was worried about the noise, which never became a problem. Just great concern for people staying in her property, which is pretty amazing.
The house could not have been in a better location, just 3-4 blocks to walk into Old Town Arvada. We were about 20 minutes from Golden, 30 minutes from Boulder, 1 hour from Fort Collins, 15 minutes to downtown Denver, and 20 minutes from Red Rocks. There are so many great little places to eat and drink in Old Town, too. The light rail stop is about 3 blocks away.
This is a gorgeous old, well renovated house. The entire place was very clean. The first floor has tons of room, with the first bedroom just to the right of the front door. The bed was comfortable, and we never heard a peep from anything in the neighborhood for three nights. The first floor bathroom is in a strange location, but it is enormous and has beautiful tile work. The upstairs rooms are a bit smaller, and so is the bathroom up there. Regardless, everything you need for 3-4 adults sharing a place. The kitchen was well appointed, although we really did not need to do any cooking with all the good places to eat right there in the neighborhood. We spent a lot of time sitting on the front porch in the evenings.
One of the biggest keys here for summer stays is the fact that the owner has indeed updated and added central A/C. This wasn't listed yet when we rented, and boy were we thrilled. It was pretty hot out there in August, and it was fantastic to have after a long day of hiking (and hitting the breweries)!
I would highly recommend this place for a Colorado trip. Ours was centered around a show at Red Rocks, which was a piece of cake to get to and get back from. You are located about 3 miles from I-70, which takes you just about anywhere you need to go. Kate was a fantastic host, and we would definitely stay here again.

This was a great place to stay for a family. It’s in a cute neighborhood with sidewalks and only two blocks from the downtown shopping area with plenty of local shops and restaurants. The two upstairs bedrooms are perfect for kids, with the low ceiling. The kitchen has all the amenities needed. We did enjoy are time there. My daughter especially loved being able to practice her piano.

We had a great time! House was clean, beds comfortable. Kate left a typed up “things to do” that included trails, restaurants around the town (which is so stinking cute!) and urgent cares. She literally thought of everything. We had a great visit. :)

We were a group of four adults and three tweens. We had a fantastic trip here. Loved the house. It is minimalist, extremely clean and comfy. There is enough room to sleep 6 (not 10). We didn’t cook at all, so I don’t know if the kitchen was stocked. Walkable to many bars, cafes & restaurants. Loved this place. Owners were super responsive when we needed an air mattress for our 7th person. Very nice!

Clean and comfortable
The owners were responsive—including coming right over when we reported that the back door evidently blew open during strong wind gusts. With the pandemic we were especially looking for scrupulous cleaning. My husband Jan and I would definitely stay here again. And a nice touch was two large dark chocolate bar—yummy. Denise
