Benedetta was very efficient in checking us in, she responded quickly to our questions also. And we attended one of her cooking classes which was great!

This trip to San Gimignano was a return to the location of our first date 13 years ago. The apartment was cozy and well appointed with everything you would need. The owner is very helpful and sweet: beware there are two flights of stairs up to the apartment but we needed the exercise and it is well worth the effort. Highly recommend this rental,

The property was a lovely quaint old style Italian apartment with a beautiful shared balcony view to the West. The downside was the water heater/supply, and the use of converters for every European appliance. There is really only enough instant hot water for 2 very quick showers per a 2 hour time period. The location and convenience was excellent. Benedetta speaks English excellently and is a delight.

We stayed for 2 weeks. The accommodations were wonderful. Beautiful views from the rear and front of apartment. The apartment is located in the center of the town. Lots of shops and wonderful restaurants. Our host was helpful with recommendations and for translating our wish for taxi's to the train station. The train is wonderful. Trips to Florence, Cinque Terre and Venice were easy. The bus is also right outside the walled city. The apartment has a washing machine which was very helpful on our long stay. I hung clothes out on the line which I hadn't done since I was a little girl helping my grandmother! The apartment also has an oven and a 4 burner cooktop if you are so inclined. Would definitely stay there again.

We had stayed in San Gimignano 20 years ago and wanted to see if it was as beautiful as we remembered. It was. The Vernacchia wine, pecorino cheeses, and meats were still fantastic. The town has gotten extremely crowded, especially about 10:00 when many people arrive by buses and the streets are jammed. This place was nice as it was just off the main square and it was easy to get up and enjoy the town in the mornings and late at evening when there were far less people around. Our host was very nice and quick to respond to all communications. She met us at the property and also at another bed and breakfast her family owns. She is very professional and apartment was clean and neat.

My wife and I and our two teenage children spent a week in this beautiful apartment in the heart of San Gimignano - you couldn’t ask for a better location. The host is super kind, responsive and helpful. The apartment was clean and more than we had expected. There’s a lovely balcony with a view of the Tuscan hillsides. The kitchen was extremely convenient for those days when we wanted to try our hand at cooking with local ingredients. On Thursday there was an amazing food and goods market right outside the apartment. Fresh everything! After a week, we really felt like we experienced “life in Tuscany”. The food, wine, culture - everything was wonderful. Highly recommend this apartment and this city. Thanks to you Benedetta for all your help and travel recommendations!

We could not have been happier with our stay! Location ...location...location in the best area in Tuscany. Benedetta was a wonderful host with patience as we were a bit delayed getting out of Rome airport. San Gimignano was such a great place to walk, shop, and the restaurants recommended by Benedetta were great! The apartment was charming with original designs and furnishings and had everything we needed. Benedetta was very helpful in getting us settled in the apartment. Benedetta waited for us outside the scheduled arrival time and helped us navigate San Gimignano to the apartment. She answered every inquiry we had. My friend and I recently spent 6 days and 5 nights at Borgo Antico and we had a terrific experience. Guiliana was the best hostess and the apartment was impeccable and as described. She was gracious and informative and made us feel welcome in San Gimignano. (And Guiliana was particularity helpful when we locked ourselves out of the apartment!) The location of the apartment could not have been better - just across from the duomo at the edge of one of the popular squares of the town. Thank you Guiliana for making our visit so enjpoyable! I highly recommend Borgo Antico to anyone!

This house completely covers all your day to day needs. Clean, great furniture, appliances, beautifully decorated. The scenery is just beautiful, great restaurants, stores within walking distance. Mrs. Guilliana is a great owner, she immediately responded to any question or needs we may have had. We felt like if we were at our own home. And she also gave us advice on where to go. If any one wants to have a great stay in Tuscany, this house is perfect. Personally I want to thank Guilliana for making our stay in Borgo Antico so great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay in this charming apartment. The location was perfectly central to the town. A little noisy because of concerts on the square, but so convenient to enjoying everything else that San Gimignano has to offer. Benedetta was so kind, and helpful in getting us settled in the apartment. Would thoroughly recommend this flat as a home base for exploring this region of Tuscany.

This apartment is spectacular! We felt like we were literally living in a Shakespeare play while we were there! We had the prividedge of being there during the Medieval Festival. The apartment is pristine and located in the heart of the action. Huge thank you to the owners for showing us where to park and helping us access our apartment within the walls. They were helpful both while we were planning our trip and while we were staying there. Highly recommend staying here. Amazing-Do not hesitate to stay here. Guiliana is honest and very dependable, she greeted us upon our arrival to help us get situated in the apartment. I feel the rate is very reasonable compared to a hotel. We took a cab to the apartment. I would recommend that as the streets are very very narrow and it would be rather hard to drive inside the walls. We went in June and it was hot but not unbearable. Note there are only fans-no A/C. The town of San Gimignano is charming beyond words. The views from the room are of an ancient church and the town square. The views from a short distance from the apartment of the hills are breathtaking. Also, the town is so romantic with small cafes and restaurants. We visited a near by wine vineyard which was fun. This trip was unforgettable as our daughters fiancee proposed while we were here in San Gimignano!!

This apartment was charming and so convenient- right off the main square (Piazza delle Erbe). Giuliana was so kind and helpful! We had four lovely nights there to use the apartment as our base for visiting Firenze, Siena, San Gimignano, and the other Tuscan hill towns. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and convenient. Will return someday!

San Gimignano is a magical place, and it was a real privilege to stay within the walls. The apartment is in a lovely position and it was great to just walk around at all times of the day. Our favourite restaurant was La Stella, and we ate there most nights. The apartment was clean and comfortable, but what made this apartment exceptional was the owner Guiliana. The booking process was clear and efficient, she met us and led us to the apartment, she carefully explained many things without speaking much English, and accompanied me on the last day so I could drive in and load luggage. Her grandson kindly joined her and translated lots of useful information for us. She was like a favourite Aunt and looked after us well. We stayed for 4 nights, and look forward to returning.

The apartment is right in the historical centre of San Gimignano - perfect for touring the surrounding hill towns. Juliana is a wonderful hostess. Although she speaks limited English, she tried very hard to ensure our stay was enjoyable - even given us apricots from her tree. The apartment's setting is wonderful - after the tourists have gone home, you feel like a local. Walking the streets and alleyways throughout the city was amazing, with a photo opportunity every few yards. The views from the walls are wonderful, and typical of Tuscan scenery. We paid the extra for Juliana's garage and recommend it to others, as parking is expensive around the town and can be a bit of a nightmare trying to find. Restaurants in the town are plentiful, with wonderful outdoor settings. Ask Juliana where the supermarket is, as it provides cheap supplies to be enjoyed in the apartment, including good wine. The apartment was clean, with original designs and furnishings. There are a couple of flights of stairs to negotiate, so be mindful if you have physical problems. You might ask Juliana where the washing machine is and how to work it. We had trouble both finding it and using it but Juliana 'came quickly to the rescue'. We had a wonderful time in her apartment and would throughly recommend it to other travellers who want a base to tour Tuscany. The peace and tranquility of the town centre at dusk is amazing, to say nothing of the 'world's best ice cream', available in the square. We spent 4 nights here but could have stayed longer. I could not have asked for a better place to stay while we were in San Gimignano. We, my 3 friends and I, were met at the bus stop and were given a warm welcome. We found the apartment to be clean, comfortable and in a very convenient location. There was a power outage one night because of a storm and Giulianna came that night to get our power back on. My only recommendation would be to have instructions for the washing machine written down in English since our Italian was very limited. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting San Gimignano and if I return I would stay there again. We all loved our visit and having this apartment to stay in helped make the trip so memorable.

We stayed in Giuliana's apartment in late October. This apartment was conveniently located in the centre of the town and was well stocked and well decorated. If you have a car, book the additional locked garage parking. The town is charming and there is a lot to do and see within easy driving distance. We really enjoyed our trip to Siena as well as just taking in the beautiful countryside. We loved the town of San Gimignano and its people. It was always nice to come back to our apartment and enjoy some local wine on the balcony overlooking the Tuscan hills as well as the hospitality at Cum Quibus. We are looking forward to another visit to Tuscany and staying at one of Giuliana's apartment again. I would highly recommend the experience of staying in this town and this apartment.
