About this apartment rental
This spacious, updated apartment is located in a beautifully-kept building in the center of Cheyenne and ready to become your comfortable retreat. Exuding original character, but not lacking in amenities for the modern traveler, there is plenty of room to spread out, whether traveling solo or in a group. Fix your meals in the full kitchen & with a coin-op washer and dryer on site, you can plan your stay for one quick stop over or many nights. Walking distance to State Capitol and hospital.
This is a "main floor" level apartment with 5 other apartments in the building. There is one next door and one above and one below. There is a nice little patio on the front of the house that is shared with the other guests in the building. Feel free to head out there (in the summer;) with your morning coffee. The building is close to 100 years old, so typical floor squeaks and "old" building noises may occur. Nevertheless, updates have been made where needed to make sure you have a comfortable, modern stay.
Window A/C is available seasonally (typically between Memorial Day and Labor Day).
Long term guests staying more than 2 weeks will need to arrange an additional refundable cleaning deposit or schedule regular cleanings during stay (for an additional cleaning fee)
The following is a list of what you can expect to find in the unit.
Consider it a “starter kit” if you will…. Hopefully it will give you the time you need to procure any additional items you may need. If something on this list is not in the unit, please let us know and we will do our best to get it to you ASAP.
Kitchen:
Paper Towels
A few regular and decaf Keurig coffee pods

Bedding:
Sheets and blanket/quilt for each bed
At least one pillow per maximum occupancy

Toilet/sink plunger

The entire apartment is for guests. There is a crawl space under the back bedroom that could be used for bike storage. The laundry room is a shared space for all the apartments (6) in the building.
We are available by text or phone between 7am and 10pm. If you have an urgent need, don’t hesitate to reach out anytime!
Located in a safe, quiet historic neighborhood, but close to the downtown district. Leave your car, and walk to the State Capitol.
Lion's Park (about 1.5 miles away) has a nice walking trail, as well as the Award winning Botanic Gardens & Children's Village. Lyft & UBER are available.
I welcome pets but do charge a $10/pet per night fee for a maximum of $50 a stay. This is separate from the basic cleaning fee and charged via the Air BnB app the morning of your arrival.
CANCELLATIONS at any time will incur a 6% refund fee.

Comfortable and cozy

Our family with 3 teens stayed in unit #4. We liked the wall mouldings, old doorknobs, vintage windows, and the built-in hall closet. We stayed one night and ate at a restaurant. The concrete steps leading to the front door need repair. They would be difficult for my disabled sister to climb. There are 2 window AC units which kept the house cool. The bathroom and kitchen have been remodeled. There were extra blankets and pillows but we bring our own pillows. The shower had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. There were a couple games to play and a few books.
There were snacks left for us at our arrival which was a nice touch. Plenty of room for all 5 of us.

Even though there were at least five other apartments in this older home, we never heard a neighbor come or go or even walking around. There were five of us & the accommodations were spacious. Will definitely stay here again.

The team was very responsive when we did not get the check in details email
It’s a good rental but be warned there are a number of stairs that are not in great condition to get in which was very hard for our handicap elderly dog.
4.7
Very clean. Never found laundry. Steps were hazardous. Would have appreciated a book with parting instructions rather than email.
4.7
Nice location. Easy to walk downtown and around the Capitol area in the evenings.

The only concern was the old door knobs. Otherwise everything was good.

Rooms were pretty good and was a nice stay overall.

Traveling through Wyoming with friends and needed a stayover place for one night Very clean, great value, and host was very communicative and everything was as stated. Would stay here for a longer term if visiting Cheyenne.
4.7
Stayed here 5 nights during our visit for Cheyenne Frontier Days. The location was great for walking/visiting downtown events: pancake breakfast and parade. Also close to Frontier Park for the rodeo and events there. Repair work on the front exterior/porch area was unexpected, but the inside of this craftsman style home was clean and beds were comfortable.
4.7
Very comfortable. The inside is adorable with an updated bathroom and kitchen while still maintaining a charm and vintage glow. There was plenty of room for our family of 5. It was well stocked with kitchen and bathroom amenities. Close to everything. Would definitely stay again.

The property was great! Steps challenging for us seniors, but we would stay there again!! The house has a lot of charm.

Great location. Easy check in amd out process. Loved that there was laundry on site for our extended stay. Upstairs neighbors were loud but that was not the owners fault at all. Overall it was a great stay.

Very easy to be at home here

2nd trip in 2023. There will be MANY more. All the comforts of home!

The description of this property as noted, except the "main floor". There are 22 steps from the street to the door. Stairs should be noted in description, as we rented this property because it was a "main floor" unit. We needed a place with minimal to no stairs because of a 97-year-old family member.
Cleanliness was ok, but definitely room for improvement.
Hair dryer noted in description, but there was no hair dryer.
We still enjoyed our time in this property and will consider maybe renting a different unit.

Property manager was wonderful to work with. It was so nice having laundry facility. Close to town, we ate at local pizza shop and played putt putt, all within a 5 minute drive!

Perfect location to downtown Cheyenne

Loved this spot. Clean and cozy, but also plenty of space for a family or group of friends. It was next to downtown and pretty much 10 min away or less from anything you might need.

Very old home with some nice refurbished areas but still needing much more.

The apartment was clean and comfortable. The back room is very hot and needs a window cooling unit.
Clean, convenient, and easy to check in and out

Great alternative to hotel chains, a neat, cozy old apartment, with super comfortable beds. Creaky wood floors with tons of character. While the building definitely looks it’s age on the outside, the inside was perfect.

I traveled with four generations of ladies ranging in age from 2 months to 77 years old and this location was perfect.

Overall, a pleasant stay on 9/15. Clean in most areas. However: dirty front porch was not welcoming, freezer was dirty, window woodwork above sink was dirty, open shelves in kitchen were dusty, wall above stove was dirty. And the dog poop in the parking area was hardly a bonus.
4.7
Nice place, comfy beds, neighbors were a bit noisy (but think they were overnight guests as well - so that will change as it is a multi unit house), nice location within walking distance of the Capitol. Great price for the space.

Great spot for out trip, so much charm in one little apartment!

There were 5 of us and our 2 med size dogs that stayed here. For the rate, cleanliness and accessibility to areas we went to this place was really good to stay in. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. We would have cooked more but we were on the go since there’s lots of state parks to visit. Lots of nice local eateries around that’s close by, walking distance. The only thing I wish the bathroom had was a hair dryer since we didn’t bring one. Cara was always responsive to emails.
4.7
Communication with the owner was great! There was a small hiccup with our reservation and Cara went out of her way to ensure everything was resolved by the time we checked in. I highly recommend.
