About this house rental

3-level cabin sits on a hillside overlooking Tollhouse Road, directly across from the Hungry Hut in the village of Shaver Lake. 2,200 square feet equipped to suit the needs of your family and large enough to host multiple families.

SLEEPING ACCOMMODATIONS
Bedroom #1 - King size bed

Bedroom #3 - 2 full size beds
Bedroom #4 - Queen size bed
Bedroom #5 - Kids sleeping loft with 4 twin size beds

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need, but if you don't want to cook there are multiple restaurants within walking distance.

If visiting during the summer season please be advised that this property does not have A/C.

If visiting during the winter season please be prepared. There will be signs posted stating that snow chains must be carried at all times (even for 4-wheel drive vehicles). If you don't have chains you could be turned away by the Highway Patrol.

The driveway is extremely steep and during the winter it will be icy. You may not make it up without 4-wheel drive or chains. There is parking off the street and you can walk up stairs to get to the cabin.

Property is located in a mountain location and will receive snow during the winter months. It is possible during and/or after major storms access to Shaver Lake could be limited or restricted. If this effects your reservation please contact us and we are willing to work with you.

BBQ grill may not be accessible in winter months as the deck may have too much snow.

The TV has streaming apps through ROKU and will be in Guest Mode. You can login to any TV services you subscribe to ie. Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, etc.

Good layout with good space. The listing did say no a/c but the fans provided didn’t do a good job. So if maybe they add a line about bringing your own fans that would be helpful. Especially for the kids area on the 3rd floor. The showers did get very hot and we did have a few times where people did get scalded from the shower heat. Good choice of board games and bedding. Beds were comfortable. Walking distance to shops and restaurants.

This cabin was absolutely perfect for our group! Beds were comfortable, the dining table was large enough for all of us, the kitchen was huge and well-stocked, and the location was wonderful. The host was easy to communicate with, very responsive and accommodating. We had a really wonderful time here. Thank you so much!

The house was perfect. Great size and fun location in the heart of Shaver Lake Village. Lots of things to do and places to go nearby. House accommodated large group. House is updated and in great condition. Very comfortable and clean.

This was our second time staying at this cabin. We love it’s location. You can walk to all the stores and restaurants and there are great spots to play in the snow right around the cabin. We can’t wait to come back next year!

Overall the cabin was well supplied but we ran out of dish washing liquid, toilet paper, paper towels. There was no kleenex tissue or napkins. With the exception of toilet tissue, we bought supplies at the grocery store. The living area could benefit from additional lighting. Just bringing it to your attention. We love the cabin itself and the location. Everything else was great. We would stay again.

This rental was great for the family. It had enough space to accommodate a large group. The kids loved the loft area on the 3rd level. It was walking distance to the coffee shop, and burger joint and only a 3 minute drive to the lake itself. The home had literally everything you needed to get meals prepped and cooked. This was our 2nd time staying here! We love the location directly across from the burger joint with great milkshakes!! Great trail near by. Market is walking distance as well as pizza place. It was a great time really enjoyed the house!! Would definitely stay again!

We had a great time getting one last ski trip in at China Peak! There wasn’t much snow but on our last day we got about five inches at the cabin. So much fun! We loved that we could walk to restaurants, there was ample parking and the house had plenty of space while still feeling cozy. There are many updates. The kids loved the loft!!!

So happy to know this cabin is available and the location of it is great. Really makes a weekend trip super fun. I want to apologize for not taking the cans out to the street. We could not find them and so we did our best to just gather the trash into one general area for it to all be cleaned up by a cleaning crew I’d that’s what comes through. Overall great cabin, super cozy, very accommodating.

We have stayed at this cabin several times throughout the years. I believe there are new owners and they have recently done a makeover. We love the cabin because of its location and the number people it sleeps. They have added tons of accommodations like plenty of towels new washer and dryer plenty of silverware cooking utensils and plates. We will definitely be coming back soon!

This property was clean, comfy and close to everything! Located near the center of town and very easy to find. Within walking distance to many things and just under a 10 minute drive to the lake. Just perfect! Would definitely come again :)
