Welcome to Capitola!

This exquisite oceanfront property is located just up the hill from the illustrious Capitola Village ( You are in the village). The dramatic panoramic view of the Monterey Bay is absolutely breathtaking from every room, as well as the patio.
The open concept floor plan consists of three bedrooms, one-and-a-half bathrooms, plus a loft (counting as a bedroom) which in total will sleep 6 people very comfortably. The staircase adjacent to the property provides access to the sandy beach not but eighty feet below.
Revel in the wide variety of local activities including (but certainly not limited to) seasonal whale watching, art, wine and music festivals as well as award-winning restaurants, locally owned gift shops, and several coastal California's most gorgeous State Parks.

The upstairs loft has a queen-sized bed and full ocean view. There is a small closet and sitting area and private balcony.
Downstairs, there is a queen-sized mattress with a private bathroom (ocean view from bed).
There is a second bedroom downstairs that has two bunk beds and a closet as well.
The house is also equipped with an air mattress if needed (that would sleep a total of eight). If you would like to have a private entrance with a double mattress and electric fireplace you can go to the office-laundry room with an ocean view. Many options for the blow-up mattress location.
Beach toys, chairs and umbrellas are provided. Let your vacation begin

This property was incredible...but anyone who looks at the photos on the site probably already knows that. The town was the most quaint and enjoyable northern California beachfront village... if you haven't visited, you should. We were amazed by a world-class frisbee juggler on the beach every day right in front of the property; we watched beautiful sunrises and sunsets while doing puzzles in the great room; we paddleboarded on the canal and in the bay (where we were chased by a massive stellar sea lion!); and we ate lots of local pizza, ice cream, and seafood. Christy, the property manager, was just lovely. From the first communication to the last, she was informative, friendly, responsive, and just top notch. She generously shared some of the wonderful memories that the owner and family had from the property. And she even went way above and beyond by cutting a personal activity short and miraculously delivering an iron for us - just in the nick of time - as we tried to dewrinkle 7 people for a wedding. Thank you for letting us share, if only briefly, in the special arc of this property's history!

Great house... amazing view, comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen. The host Christy is always available if you need anything. Everything in Capitola is nearby and walkable. I agree with another reviewer that we tended to do more takeout than expected because this has better views than any restaurant in town. You're on the main drive into Capitola, so there can be a good amount of both car and foot traffic past the front door. i think that comes with the territory for the great location though.

We knew it'd be good ... but this home is exceptional! Ocean views from three sides, very clean, stocked kitchen, and all the beach equipment you'd need (chairs, umbrella, toys, boards). We initially planned to eat out for all meals, but ended up eating in for most since there's not a place in town with a better view. It's close to everything in the village, including the beach. We felt so lucky to be able to come and go without having to look for parking. Christy was helpful and gracious, I can't say enough good things about our entire experience. It's well worth the splurge.

Gorgeous location - incredible views from the main room overlooking the water. We had a relaxing and lovely weekend in this home. We really appreciated the location overlooking the water (as close as you could possibly get) and also walking distance to all the happenings in Capitola. The owners are very gracious and attentive. Fabulous place!

We had a girls trip and this was the best vacation home ever. So many fun activities to that were provided and had the best view. Christy was amazing showing us through the home and she was very responsive. Overall had an amazing experience!!

We absolutely LOVED this place! The pictures don’t even do it justice. The location couldn’t be more perfect, walk to beach, shops, restaurants, arcade for kids, wine tasting for the adults ;0) The sunrises were breathtaking! Even after the big storm, the views were fantastic and 95% of the town had reopened. We really enjoyed presidents week in this spacious home with family and close friends. The host Christy was so attentive and available at anytime if we had any questions or wanted recommendations. She personalized our trip and had so much to offer from boogie boards, surfboards beach toys & more…. We all can’t wait to come back!!

Christy gave us a friendly, thorough introduction to the property. The house is comfortable, well equipped, handy to downtown and the beach, and has a spectacular view of the beach, pier and Monterey Bay. It also has an outdoor shower, a couple of boogie boards and a couple of shorty wetsuits if you are a beach lover. There is a constant show of surfers, seals, and diving pelicans.

This place was lovely for our annual fishing trip. Right on the beach , you can hear the waves from inside the home ,which was amazing! Also close to restaurants too . I would stay here again 100 percent.

This house offers everything you need. Amazing views and direct access to the beach. It's a short and easy walk down to the shops and places to eat. The house has all the sand/beach amenities you need (chairs, surfboards, toys, boogie boards...). We stayed three nights. Christy, the host, is very attentive and responsive. The views and beach access are really what sets this place apart from all other rentals. We enjoyed our stay!

The house is beautiful and in the perfect location to enjoy Capitola Village and surrounding areas of Santa Cruz. You can hear the sound of the waves throughout the whole house! From booking to checkout, the owner was a delight to deal with. This property will forever remain a favorite and I'll be back with more family and friends!

Amazing views!!!! fitting for an amazing house. Very Clean and everything in good shape (except one door lock). Loved the open kitchen and living area. Easy storage of beach gear (and plenty of beach toys at the house to choose from). Outdoor shower made cleanup easy. Highly recommend!

Everything about this home and location is 5-Star. The home is modern and very well equipped with appliances and supplies. The location is wonderful. It is directly on the beach and offers a panoramic view of Capitola beach and all of Monterey Bay. It is one block from Capitola Village and all the village has to offer. There is a staircase directly to the Capitola beach adjacent to the home. The owner has included beach towels, boogie boards, a kayak, a surfboard, and life preservers with the home. The washer and dryer are very large and can handle all your vacation laundry needs. The property manager, Christy, is incredibly responsive to any inquiries. The sleeping quarters are ideally suited to two adult couples and 2 to 4 children in bunkbeds.or on an air mattress. We will return again for another vacation stay.

This was a fantastic stay on beautiful Capitola beach. The location was incredible with easy beach access & stunning views. Christy is an excellent hostess with super communication. She’s met us upon arrival to show us the property. The house had everything we needed to have a very comfortable stay. It’s equipped with all kitchen tools for cooking, barbequeing, toys for beach & water play. It was so convenient to walk into town for meals, shopping & ice cream (Polar Bear). Our group of 8 had plenty of space & comfort. Liked how the shower bathroom is connected to both the living room & the master bedroom. We had an incredible stay here. Thank you!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay- we celebrated Mom's 70th birthday (she loves a trip to the ocean). Everything was just perfect- clean and well stocked. The service by Christy was superb! Great location, beautiful views. We cannot wait to come back.

My stay in capitola was amazing, Christy greeted us with a beautiful smile and made us feel like old friends, she check in on us to make sure we had everything. The house was immaculate , I felt like I walked into a house from a magazine, it had everything we needed and more . The kids loved the bunks and secret passage way.The entire process was extremely easy.I hope to make it an annual stay. Thank so much christy
