We loved our stay at the WC lodging. For a large group like ours with multiple families, the split accommodations were perfect and ideal. The house was well equipped with all the necessary cutlery and kitchen items and there were plenty of towels to go around. The hot tub was great too and the setting overall is very serene! Only thing was that the water was a bit smelly and noticed in the toilets that it came out light yellow. Not a huge deal breaker For us since we had our own water to drink but just fyi.
Thanks for a great stay!

Property was as advertised. Wish I got to spend more time on property. Good for stay with friends with multiple buildings on property.

We wanted a quiet place near where we grew up for a family gathering for siblings and their partners and children from around the country. The Bennett Valley Eden was perfect: it allowed us to cook and eat together, plus lots of inside and outside places to gather for conversations. We really how appreciated the "Post Office" and Studio houses provided quiet places for late risers and infant naps.

My family stayed at this Bennett Valley property the end of June 2024 and we really enjoyed our stay! This place is nicely setup for a larger group with three houses; a large main house, a two bedroom detached cottage and a detached studio. Everything was clean and well stocked for our stay. Located a few miles outside of Santa Rosa; the best of both worlds with restaurants, wineries, and stores close by but rural and relatively private in the hills. We found the property owner/manager quite responsive when we had a small problem with the key pad on one of the doors. A good time was had by all!

The location is great but the overall experience was average at best. From the shower in the guest house not working, to multiple toilets backing up, to the AWFUL sulfur smell in the water, and probably the most uncomfortable couch I’ve ever sat on, we hoped for more. We had extended family with us and we chose to stand up when hanging out inside at times due to the couch being almost impossible to sit on comfortably. Prior to the trip we read other reviews and asked about the sulfur smell. The host assured us it was remediated. That was not the case to the extent my wife used bottled water to brush her teeth.
However the worst part of the trip was communicating with the host. Their attitude was curt and condescending. As a Superhost with the other company myself, I was shocked by their attitude and answers to basic questions.
We have future plans to visit the area and can assure you that we will avoid any property hosted by this host management firm.

Three separate houses allow for congregating together for meals and family time while still providing individual space for quiet time or smaller groupings. Wonderful location close to SR but with a rural feel, dark night skies for star gazing. Plenty of outdoor gathering areas for lounging in the beautiful countryside.

Stayed with entire family for grandson’s first birthday. Plenty of gathering space and private spaces for all.

Had a great time with our group, location was perfect, close to town but secluded at the same time.

Great location. Wine tasting in Napa one day. Safari on another day. Trip to Charles Shultz museum and the redwoods. Used the main house kitchen for cooking meals for 10 and was well appointed.

It was a great location and fit our needs. The outdoor areas were wonderful to sit and relax.

For Easter weekend, our group of 11 needed a place that could house multiple families that also preferred their own bedrooms and bathrooms. This "Eden" in Bennet Valley suited our needs perfectly. With its spacious rooms and all of its amenities, everyone in our big family whose ages ranged from 70 to 7 years old found something to love. From the multiple kitchens to the outdoor grill, we easily got to whip up a feast for ourselves every night of our stay. The location is far enough away from the main cities and roads that we had peace and quiet but not so far away that we couldn't get to a market for last-minute grocery shopping. The premises were wide enough to accommodate us while also providing some spaces for smaller groups to sit together. Self check-in/check out instructions provided by the hosts were straightforward and very easy to follow. Overall, I'd strongly recommend this rental for a big group planning a little getaway around Sonoma County.

We stayed in this listing with a group of friends for a birthday. It's hard to find a good spot for a large group, and this property was great for our group size! The house was clean, and checkin/out was easy. There was an issue with unlocking one of the properties, but the host was very responsive and resolved it. Overall a good stay!

We rented all three properties and were impressed with the space! We had an issue with no propane in the small studio when we first got there, and someone came out to fix immediately it in the pouring rain - very responsive. Plenty of parking, very peaceful, just lovely.

We enjoyed our stay. We came to the area for my birthday and there were 11 adults. With the 3 houses on the property, it was more than enough space for us. The main house had enough room for all of us to gather. The area is great and a good choice if you’re there to visit the Napa and Sonoma wineries which was the point of our visit. We loved the hot tub and fit 6 very comfortably. I’m sure we could’ve fit more if we tried. As the listing states, there is a sulfur smell to the water. We found it reasonable with the exception of the studio. It was a little stronger there but there are enough bathrooms that our friends just came to the main house to shower. We loved that we didn’t have to throw out leftover drinks and food as the owner donates it. That was a really nice touch!

Separate main house & cottages worked well for our families.

This property was perfect for our group of 5 adult couples as we each wanted our own bedroom and bathroom. A couple of the bathrooms were small but adequately served the purpose. The property layout is very unique in that there are 3 separate buildings but we used the main house as our central space. The grounds were well kept and offered several areas to gather and relax.
Our trip was mainly to visit the Napa Valley wineries and while this property was on average 45 minutes away from those we selected, the drive was always scenic and enjoyable.
The communication with the owner/broker was excellent and responsive.
Highly recommend this property for larger groups who want to stay together but have privacy as well.

Do not stay here if the smell of sulfur aka rotten eggs are disruptive to you.
My friends and I stayed here for a wedding that was nearby. All was well, it was great seeing everyone and the place had necessary amenities we needed. But all water from faucets and showers had an incredibly strong stench of Sulfur (smells like rotten eggs for reference). In the smaller units that smell travelled throughout the whole place and lingered at all hours of the day. Our group remarked that it felt like showers and brushing our teeth didn't get us clean.
We reached out to the host following our stay who was unapologetic about the situation. Remarking how it's a common issue. To me, it sounded like prepared remarks. Which it is, as you can see from previous reviews.
We reached out to Vrbo to see if they can mediate a conversation between the property and us since we didn't have luck talking directly to the property. They remarked that since our stay was over, there was nothing they could do. And it was up to the property manager to issue any sort of consolation.
I hope for any future guests who are staying here they fix this problem because it dampened our vacation.
They'll probably respond saying we should've reached out during the stay. To that, I say that's not exactly how I'd want to spend a vacation. We just wish it was disclosed in the description of the listing. We just noticed while writing this review that it was called out in a recent review, but was still not fixed before our stay.

The property was lovely. We enjoyed the hot tub in the morning while watching the wild life. The three separate properties were great to share with friends, and then the main house to come together to cook and enjoy meals. There was a lack of window coverings and a few basic tools such as a cork screw. But overall our stay was wonderful!

Wonderful time at this secluded and peaceful property. It felt like you were in your own sanctuary but only took about ten minutes to get into Santa Rosa proper. I was here for my Bachelorette weekend (most of us were above age 30) and we all had a wonderful time cooking and catching up with one another and then being able to retreat to our private rooms. Only suggestion is to address the weird smell coming from the faucets and showers and to add additional window coverings - At night or while changing it got rather creepy when there was no way to ensure privacy. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Perfect central location and facilities for our gathering. Plenty of space for us to cook and have meals to also. Easy check in and out.

Absolutely gorgeous 3 unit getaway
I loved my experience staying here.
The 3 separate property accommodations suited our party of 12 nicely.
The main house has a gorgeous open kitchen and living room for everyone to gather. My two younger kids loved the grounds , they went foraging for fire twigs , picking flowers and the neighbors fruits.
They had a great time exploring the whole backyard which seemed like a personal forest . They also enjoyed the hot tub.
The medium size unit has a steam room in one of its bath. Every unit has its own kitchen. The only thing I would reconsider is the lack of window coverings in its so many windows/doors. I appreciate the natural light but at night it was kinda creepy. And the smell of sulfur coming from the sinks and shower. All in all , we enjoyed our stay and loved this property.
Would love to book again .

Amazing wine country property!
Just off the perfect highway for getting anywhere in Sonoma or Napa county, this massive property was one of the best parts about our trip! We were grateful for all the space, and loved being able to explore all the hidden lounge areas. Can’t recommend this enough for groups / families!
