The host has been extremely kind in solving some issues with the reservation and very proactive in helping us organising our trip for the best. He overdelivered by every means. Rich and high quality breakfast was a surprise.

The owners and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast with tables outdoor as well as indoor. Our suite was modern, nice and spacious with a balcony. The hotel is close to downtown Klagenfurt, which is a lovely town with great restaurants.

We didn't have breakfast at the hotel but there was a free buffet corner with a coffee machine, tea bags, fruit, sandwiches, cakes and refrigerated drinks that you can help yourself to 24 hours a day and take to your room.
It seemed like a shady part of town. Had a fright or two when we went for evening walks (i am talking about 8 pm-ish)

Even in this difficult times the breakfast served was excellent and extensive, they served buffet every morning with ample choice. It is a family hotel with very friendly staff. I checked in at night at 1.30 am but there was someone to open the door and check me in, I got good information on the facilities in my room (the AC had a unconventional but very good control unit), where to park my car (since all parking places at the hotel were taken).
This is the hardest question, since I think that all was just the way you hope it to be when you select a hotel. I travel all over the world for my company and stay in hotels almost every week so I have good comparison values. This one certainly deserves its 4 star rating.
