Our stay vacillated between a 5 star to a 1 star. Before we booked the home we messaged Vacasa about the broken fireplace and lack of instructions mentioned in previous reviews.
The home is really beautiful. It has been well decorated and is very comfortable. Small details like plenty of throws for the living room are appreciated. The kitchen has great appliances and is well stocked. The community is reaching the point in age where they are ready for updates, but this home is well cared for.
The location is excellent. 3-4 min drive to the resort. It’s great. The ski in ski out access is questionable. No instructions were provided so we used Google satellite to ascertain the path. It appears the newer condos have true walk out access, but for this community best we can tell is you have to lug your gear up a short hill to access the ski corridor.
Things went to 1 star when we attempted to use the aged hot tub. The water was hot, but the control panel is corroded, illegible and non functional. Could not make spa work at all.
We called Vacasa and messaged them 8 times to try and repair the hot tub. We kept getting canned answers or they claimed there were 2 panels and 1 works/1 doesn’t. We could not for the life of us find a second panel.
This could be a 5 star property by addressing the hot tub and property management. And provide a set of instructions! All short term rentals need this!

Overall the house was okay. We couldn’t get in until 2 hrs after the 4pm Check-In because the cleaning service was running late. This was frustrating with our young kids and older grand parents. Would have appreciate an any detail on where the trash dumpster was or where the shuttle stop was, or even how to hike up a bit to ski down to the base area.

Positives: A couple hundred feet from the ski slopes, radiant heat, functioning hot tub & grill, heated indoor parking for one car.

This home was absolutely beautiful, along with the location. The problem was that we had a lot of lot of little issues that added up, along with one large problem.
We booked this particular house because it was advertised on VRBO as being air conditioned. The temperature was cool when we arrived so we didn’t notice at first that there was no air conditioning. This was a huge issue for us because we decided to pay more for an air conditioned home.
I had to call the property managers every day for something and sadly, they didn’t always get back to me until the next day. Everyone was extremely nice but their hands were tied until they heard back from the local company.
Other issues - there were no instructions anywhere on what to do with trash, and nothing on the hot tub or fireplaces. After several calls, we were told to put the trash in the shoot by the elevator - there was no elevator - the company gave us the wrong property information. We were told the gas was shut off to the fireplace - why would they do that? Two worked but one did not. We had to go out and buy our own paper towels and toilet paper - there was only one extra roll of toilet paper in each bathroom (we had 12 people).
Another small issue is there were a few places in the house that you could tell had not been cleaned, along with a broken toilet paper roll. We took photos of everything as we did not want to me held responsible.
Lastly, we were refunded some money, and that was greatly appreciated. I was too bad that a lot of our vacation, and time after, was spent on the phone for things that we should never have had problems with.

Great home & location - communication & management company is not so great.
