Very nice room, tastefully decorated, friendly staff, relaxing and well equipped wellness area. A nice selection of breakfast choices. A perfect hotel for a relaxing escape in nature
We found most of the food options quite salty

kind staffs, nice breakfast, clean enough, a samll kit box for kids was touching. They considers everything.
if i have to find one... the water temperature in the pool but it is my personal feeling as I take showers with warm water even in summer.

The restaurant is splendid, both the staff and the quality and taste of food. The wellness area is quite modern, with a nice view. Rooms are spacious. Sound insulation ensured proper sleep, even though our room was partially facing the street (might be different in seasons with open window, though). We requested a crib, it was prepared nicely by our arrival. Cleaning lady was attentive, nicely organizing even our baby's toys in the crib.

Large comfortable rooms, great pool and spa. Food in restaurant very good.
No tea facilities in room. No toast at breakfast.
not able to get a hot drink after 9pm. No spirits in mini bar.

Nice and clean hotel. They serve a good breakfast. The view from the hotel onto the lake is beautiful.
The water in the pool was a little too cold to my liking. Maybe because of the energy crisis it was lowered a bit.

if you book a comfort room from the pictures you want that! I had a totally a horrible experience when I saw the room!!!!! they got 2 categories of rooms and I think it should be shown on the booking.com!!!! we could fix it and the hotel help me to make a good deal and a lovely weekend!

we like the nices staff, food in the restaurant, massage, facilities and etc. We stayed there during my birthday then one waiter in the restaurant always assisted us and my boyfriend ask him if he could find a candle for the cake that he ordered for dessert and luckily and without hesitation my cake arrived with candle on it! it was a comfortable stay! Kudos to all staff and workers of this Hotel.
I asked on reception if they have sanitary pads available but unfortunately they didn’t have but she suggested me to go on the store in just few minutes away from the hotel. maybe in the future is also good for the more convenient stay of the guests if they would be have sanitary pads available even if its like in the public toilet in the reception area like a built in vendo machines for sanitary pads ☺️.

We had the "Suite Herzogenhorn", room 139, and it was enormous. Plenty of space for my two daughters in one room, and the two of us in the other room... plus, it was right next door to the Swimming Pool / Spa area.
This is my favourite hotel in Schwarzwald, we had amazing food, and it was a really relaxing break.
Nope, nothing. The place is amazing. No complaints.
3.5
The hotel is next to a busy road, which is frustrating for a wellness hotel. The food was okay, but not great. Message therapist was okay, but not great.

The staff was great, very friendly. The hotel has good facilities for kids and the pool is awesome, you can swim with a view to the black forest!
I felt the room too warm, but this the only thing that I did not like in the whole stay.
